I definitely read this and thought "But... it's Wednesday?".. that was a happy surprise lol, the weekend is 1 day closer!
Not sure how unpopular this is, but Brexit makes me really sad and very worried about the EU. Especially with Le Pen's stance on the union and Trump's stance on NATO. If they both get elected on top of Brexit that makes me extremely worried about the state of the West in the future.....
yes they are. bread n butter and good. but just regular sweet omg yuck. dill pickles though. omg gimme one of those claussens nowwwwwwwwww!
I don't discriminate against pickles, whether pregnant or not.
@PSUBecky23 & @Kimmy717, I bought spicy pickles from Amish Country & saved the juice. I put sliced radishes & carrots in there for a couple days and they are AMAZING! I would HIGHLY recommend this for fellow pickle lovers.
@ElcaB Totally agree with you. I accidentally bought a jar of sweet pickles a few weeks ago, thinking that they were dill...as soon as I tasted them, I made my poor husband go to the store right then and there to get me "real pickles"!
Speaking of a threenager...terrible two's don't have shit on this hellish monster of an (almost) 3 year old daughter that has taken over my sweet little girl.

I feel your pain. Mine stood in the bathroom screaming at me this morning while I peed. Because since she didn't have to go, I shouldn't be allowed to go until tomorrow.
going off the sweet/salty/sour thing - sweet potato fries...one of gods epic creations, they should have cinnamon and sugar on them... not salt. most of the time i want my sweet potato SWEET not salty.
I have tried season after season to love Orange Is The New Black. I just cannot. I am done trying.
Awwww sads! I love OITNB. Last season was kind of weak, but I really liked this latest season. I've heard several people say they don't care for it, though.

I have never watched this either... and i dont want to. i wish it would stop reoccurring in my "you may like this" feed on netflix...leave me alone i dont want to watch it. Now, I wish there was more Hemlock Grove, i really loved that show.

Same here, I love OITNB so much, but last season was just not as good as the other ones At least there was less Piper this season so that's a good thing (I really don't like her character at all).

Speaking of shows we dislike (I also dislike OITNB) I HATED Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt. DH and I watched the whole first season just waiting for it to get better and i don't think I laughed once. Just not my kind of humour I guess. All the jokes seemed like they were trying too hard.

100% agreed. My husband found it hilarious, I just didn't get the humor. I love The Office, Parks and Rec, anything along those lines.. but Kimmy just was not funny to me. Granted - I might have been in a bad mood when watching, that can really taint TV shows for me.
I hate direct sales. I'm sure there are many positive aspects but as soon as I see Posh, Lipsense, Lularoe, R+F, etc., I just scroll on past. You should know this about me before we make a Facebook group since many of my Facebook mom friends are involved in some kind of sales. Love the ladies. Hate the "parties."

@crispy11 - I'm pretty much right there with you. My sister does sell one product that I will rarely buy off of her, but never attend parties for it. Isn't it annoying that Facebook automatically adds you to groups/events whichever one it is that they invite you to? I get an invitation to a Lularoe party multiple times per week, then my feed is people commenting on the party/posting pics of the outfits you can buy, even though I never responded to it. I have to go in and remove myself from the group. ANNOYING! Maybe there's a FB setting that I could change...

If you find one, let me know. Facebook mom friends adding me to a group is one thing because at least I like those ladies. Half of my requests are from some rando "friend" I haven't talked to in 7 years. Yesterday it was a med school acquaintance's fiancee. I'm not friends with the woman, but I guess her fiancé added all of his "friends" too.

@Kimmy717 Regarding sweet potato fries....I love them (salted!), BUT it seems like 75% of the time when I order they come out soggy on the plate. So I only order them places where I know they are crisp! So annoying.... I don't know if they just wilt the first 30 seconds or what. But when they're good, they're GOOD
On the pickle train...I hate sweet pickles too, but have you tried Wickles? They're spicy sweet/sour pickles. And they are one of my major pregnancy cravings! Not sure if they're available nationwide, but totally worth trying if you're a pickle person, or a spicy food person!
@jbscmama - Sweet potato fries are SO hard to keep crispy. Even when we cook them at home, they get soggy and cold SO fast compared to regular fries. Annoying. And i love them too, salty also - and with ketchup. I do not want sugar/cinnamon on them, the fry is sweet enough, bring on the salt!
@Megan324 - don't get me wrong, not saying I won't eat a fry that is soggy... I just prefer some crunch. But I've never turned down a french fry in my life.
Team sweet, sweet potato fries over here. There is a place around here that makes them deliciously crispy and they have a marshmallow dipping sauce. It is soooo good, and now I want some!
@Steephers123 - Applebees (I think) does an appetizer of sweet potato fries with a few different dipping sauces. One of them is a cream cheese/icing type dip.. and I have the biggest sweet tooth in the world but as an app I just can't get behind it. I'm all about the spicy ranch or ketchup.
This might not be an UO, but parents who are riding their bikes with the kids, and the kids have helmets on but the parents do not. Drives me freaking crazy. Bad example for one, but it's all well and dandy that your kids is protected, but what exactly do you think they're going to do if you get swiped off the road and your head bursts open like a watermelon?
Now that I'm thinking about it, I don't think I've ever had salted sweet potato fries. Or dipped them in anything other than sweet sauces (early FFFC?). I suppose I could stand to try the other side
Posting this over here since it may be an UO after reading the Family/In-Law 3rd Tri thread.
The idea of family coming to visit in the hospital and holding DS first or for extended periods of time doesn't really bother me. With DD, once I was back in my regular room after the CS I held her for a few minutes before the passing around began and I was fine with it. I knew that once family left (in at most an hour or 2) that I would have plenty of time to hold her. And that within a few weeks/months I'd be at the point that my arms ached to be able to put her down for even a few minutes. Maybe it was just her personality but she wanted to be held all. the. time. Plus, I knew she was safe with the people that loved her most and it gave me a few minutes to relax and close my eyes.
Also, I never felt like I had to entertain family and visitors after the birth. The hospital is boring and it was nice to have someone else to talk to and to ask for help. Even the most self-centered and thoughtless family members won't say no to you asking for more ice chips or flagging down a nurse (why is this always so difficult?!) I know nurses are extremely busy and overworked so it's nice to have a mobile person who can jump up to find help. Plus the new family member usually brings enough entertainment. Visitors are so focused on the baby that I never felt obligated to make conversation.

OK, but have you ever worn a Lularoe item? The comfort! I will be living in LLR during my maternity leave.
