I got inspired by all your Halloween TBT's last week. Thought I'd share my favorite costume as a little girl. I basically only took it off when my mom threatened me she'd throw it away if I don't let her wash it.
This is me with my two brothers before one of my dance recitals. Clearly, my little brother was going (and extremely happy about it) but my older brother had no interest to go. Judging by what he is wearing, my parents didn't make him. LOL
@annabenanna He did the same HUGE (almost straining) smile as a joke for his kindergarten year book picture and the veins in his neck were popping out. My mom did not order those pictures. Lol
ETA: just realized you were talking about my older brother....that is still his go to face in pictures lol
throwback to july 2015 when I got this sweet weave done. I should just suck it up and go get it one done again but I'm afraid it will hurt too much being pregnant.
@annabenanna I prefer that style but I've had dreadlock type braids done too. The only thing is it takes like 3-4 hours and it's quite painful. But then I don't have to wash my hair for 3 weeks (and it only costs like $7)
Sorry this is huge! This is me as a toddler on Halloween. It says I was a court jester, but it looks more like a clown costume. But I was/am also scared of clowns, so my mom probably just adapted?
This is me in Little Tokyo back in college. I think my ex-boyfriend and I were visiting the MOCA, and then wandered around DTLA. We took a wrong turn at one point and walked down a street that was pretty shady, and had to turn right back around and hurry back to the Little Tokyo area.
@scostel2 I had a similar costume when I was little! And I'm terrified of clowns haha
I don't have my baby pictures so I can't dig out a Halloween one. But here I am, I think I was 5? No good story with this except that I absolutely hated my short hair and never quite forgave my mother for cutting it.
Throwback to 2005! That was the year DH and I started dating. This pic was taken at a little surprise birthday party I threw for him at a friend's house. We didn't know until later that his psycho exgirlfriend showed up during the party and egged his car. Good times lol.
@scostel2, I have a picture for you. Just last month, we took a 10 hour flight back from Europe with THIS GUY (turns out he's pretty famous.... he's a barber in LA):
@AgentCarter, I heart Little Tokyo! I used to live on 2nd and Spring, about 2 blocks from Little Tokyo.
@CopperBoom86, look at you guys! So young and cute! Also, psycho ex gf? So cray!
Yeah, he only had one serious girlfriend before me and she was definitely cray back then. She grew out of it though and we're actually Facebook friends now. Life is strange lol.
This #TBT isn't of me, but it's of a couple of the ones I love most... DH and our dog Blaze, both asleep on the couch together. This is after DH spent the entire day at the golf tournament. That moment was hilarious and precious all at once. I can't wait to replace the puppy in this picture with our tiny little baby!!!
#tbt to the day Rhode Island married us (sort of) and also made me really upset! This will be 2 years ago in September and it wasn't legal to marry in SC yet. So we flew to RI, stayed at the NYLO in Warwick (absolutely beautiful) and attempted to get married. Except, they wouldn't take my birth certificate because it was from the hospital and not the health department - and therefore wouldn't issue is a marriage license. So we still had it officiated and had our pictures taken (hello, we just dropped all that $$). And 2 months later, it was legal 45 minutes up the road in Charlotte, NC so we ran up there and got court-house married.
I cried so hard but absolutely NOTHING is traditional or typical with our relationship/marriage and I think that's just part of its charm at this point.
@sjo_thetwins a tiny bit south east of Charlotte. I remembered you saying you were in SC, but obviously didn't know how far from NC you were. We're super close to the NC/SC border.

We were in Columbia, SC but moved to Aiken - an hour away. So we are further from Charlotte now, but not too bad!
Married 11-11-11 TTC only since Dec 2015. I had some weight to get off. Been working hard in the gym for over a year. BFP 02-15-16 with our first IT'S A BOY!!!
@annabenanna that guy was on Americas got talent too!
For real? what was his talent???
To be honest? I quit watching when he came on. Something clown-related. He said he had always wanted to be a clown but was a barber instead. You can YouTube it I bet! It was on the other night!
Clearly a little more than 3 years ago, but husband and I have matching baby photos with our mom's, which we both resemble more than our fathers. He was such a cute chubby baby!
This is fun! Here is me at 3 months old.. my family is just waiting to see if this baby boy will have my hair. yes, this is how my hair naturally stood and how I looked at birth as well. My mom said she had awful heartburn and the pic explains why!
Loving all the baby throwback pictures! So cute! Wish I had some stored in my phone. @sjo_thetwins Such a gorgeous photo!!!
I'm in such the Halloween spirit right now so here's a tbt of me and the hubs with my cousin and her husband. I think it's from...5 or 6 years ago? I wholeheartedly apologize for my husband's offensive costume. Sometimes he doesn't think things through.

My H & Halloween 2012. We were at an 80's party - can you tell?! He loved that Kelly Kapowski shirt!
