I know this is really boring but I'm having a smoothie. I was so sick yesterday I couldn't keep anything down and today I'm trying to recover but anything i think to eat is making me queasy. (I did have a pop tart earlier though and it hasn't gone anywhere yet!)

lately... every freaking thing I can get my grubby hands on. MS is totally under control and a beast has awoken inside of me. I'm readjusting because at this rate I'm going to really regret how hard it is to lose baby weight come December. Going into this, past me was like... Slarty. Remember that baby weight does not fall off of you. Keep it cool with the goodies. And now current me is like:
Yesterday I had a craving for Wendy's, and I think the grease made me sick. I haven't been eating much fast food, and after feeling so shitty yesterday, I'm going to try not to eat it for the rest of the pregnancy. It was so tasty going down, but baby was not having it.
Avocados....I'm getting sick of them but they seriously help me poop. I started mashing them onto bread and using them in sandwiches instead of mayo....it's pretty good. Also BLT's..I LOVE BLT's now, yogurt, ridiculous amount of fruit and goldfish crackers.I also have been having salmon once a week or so. Still very much anti-chicken. Even wings aren't tasty anymore to me.

Ate two you pick 2's from Panera. One with mac and cheese and a half greek salad. One with half chicken salad sandwich and tomato soup in a bread bowl. No regrets. Going to eat what's left for a snack later on.
Yum, I had an avocado each day last week. I just dice it in a bowl, put a little cheddar cheese, and some buffalo wing sauce. I forgot to buy any for this week though and try really hard to not go back to the store for random things or I spend too much.
I'm pretty much eating like normal. This week for dinner we're having roast and homemade knockoff Chinese takeout. Lunches for me are usually a salad, or some type of bean/quinoa/lentil salad, burrito, etc. Snacks are still pickles, and lots of fruit.
I had some homemade carrot cake yesterday which was amazing, but I really shouldn't have eaten so much of it. All I can really keep down is cereal, although I did have a plain chicken sandwich at Chick-fil-a and it really hit the spot. Not sure if anyone else knows this, but Chick-fil-a puts butter on their bread and when you ask for it plain, they will take the butter off as well. I had no idea that they even put butter on their bread but I'm glad I could ask for it to be taken off because that probably would have upset my tummy.
I just finished a cake doughnut with chocolate frosting. Someone brought them in and set them by the printer. I was up by said printer and no one was around... so I took it. It was worth it!
I ate so much this weekend, as we had a family gathering at my parent's place and my mom made stuff all weekend... turkey burgers and some sides Friday night, sloppy joes and some sides for lunch Saturday, chicken tacos w/ chips/salsa Saturday night. Egg bake, zucchini bread and pumpkin muffins for breakfast yesterday. Yup. Then DH and I went out for supper and I had the best steak stroganoff I think I have ever had. I am eating the rest for lunch today. It all sat well, except for the heart burn. Worth it.

I had THE BEST pimento cheese last night. I asked the woman that provided it where she got it from/what kind it is. She said a local store has it but she buys the huge tubs from Sam's Club. Our closest Sam's is an hour away...but I'm considering going just for the pimento cheese.

@juliehollz13 I'm with you on the ridiculous amounts of fruit front! I made the mistake of buying two containers of figs at Whole Foods (because how often to you find fresh figs?) and now I'm trying to eat them before they turn. Kiiiinda over figs now tbh.
ETA: fruit, not front ETA2: OMG FRESH FRUIT not fruit fruit! You know what eff this. I meant to put fruit front. I'm ridiculous right now.

Still on claussen kosher dill pickles! Also, my SIL made me an awesome peach cobbler yesterday, and I enjoyed a Hook and Ladder today from Firehouse Subs.
Now that my MS is gone and my energy is up, I want to cook all of the foods! I made balsamic spaghetti squash mixed with spinach, bacon, and goat cheese for dinner on Sunday and just polished off the last leftovers.
Tonight I'm making skinny buffalo chicken sweet potatoes with cinnamon brown sugar carrots and balsamic brussels sprouts. I can't wait. I'm still going through Pinterest picking out recipes and sending DH ingredients to buy. I'm going to eat all of the foods!
Thanks @linziloo09! Those look good. I make somethin similar, but it's diced potatoes roasted, then topped with chicken, cheese, and bacon and buffalo sauce. Yours look somewhat healthier lol.
Currently obsessed with klausen dill pickles and chips together. I've been dipping chips into pickle juice. It's a relationship that is getting serious.
Oatmeal, almond milk, and cherries for breakfast. Granny smith apple with fresh ground peanut butter for a snack. Lunch I had a very deep calling for steak kabobs and veggies. For dinner, I'm making spicy chili.
We had a great appt today and I Finally heard the heartbeat, immediately and super strong, so we're having steak and baked potatoes tonight.... I can't wait!!!

I want poptarts. There are gluten free knock offs but they are not what I want. They do not have that cardboardy crust. They don't have the icing on top. I want junk food that is like... the cheapo nothing redeeming about it junk food. There are GF knock offs of a lot of things but they all have fancy spices or are healthed-up some. NOT WHAT I WANT. (I suppose this is all for the better though). I would totally eat a poptart if i didn't know for a fact it would make my insides shrivel for like a week. Not worth it unfortunately.
I'm super proud of my healthy meal last night, and I'm excited for the leftovers today. Of course I'm sure it'll be pizza and ice cream the rest of the week, but this healthy thing did, in fact, happen.

@linziloo09, your squash dish sounded so good to me. I'd ask for the recipe but ya right like I'm gonna cook.
@ashbozso Yes! I bought some poptarts a couple weeks ago when they were super on sale. I am surprised the boxes (cookie & cream, S'mores) aren't gone yet! I also have no regrets eating them
I have been craving tortilla chips with salsa and queso. I may actually have that when I get home from work in the next half hour! And Moe's El Guapo salsa or Chili's salsa... yum!
16-week appointment was yesterday and I only gained 4lbs. according to the scale there since June 3. I thought that was pretty good considering all the crap I have been eating. I am mindful and smart about some stuff, but sometimes you just need that junk. Avoiding the junk is my weekly goal, but sometimes you have to.
