It bothers me to see all the stock photos of pregnant women with their bellies only half covered. Why do they think this is how all of us are going about our lives? I fully plan on having my belly covered at all* times.
*At least at all times other than when I'm in pajamas or at the beach or places where it's totally appropriate.
UO: It irrationally bugs me when users have the generic photo as their avatar and their username is knottie6549842154 (this is not aimed at anyone in particular). It takes 2 minutes to personalize it. Gah!!
How do I change it? The one I have on my main page are flowers I received after my daughter passed, but it's not showing up as my avatar.
We have two sleeping beauties in heaven. Jack gained his wings on 09/02/2016. Kali gained her wings on 07/28/2015. They will be forever missed.

Click on 'My Account' in the top right corner and if you hover your mouse over your avatar, 'Update' should pop up and you can select something new.
I spoke with my OB office with DS2 who was born in April and asked if I could delay payments until January so that all payments went towards my deductible one time. They had no problems with it and just doubled (roughly) my payments since I'd be doing it in a shorter amount of time.
Maybe its at least worth asking?
My OB doesn't collect until the delivery. It's the ultrasounds and blood tests that start coming in at the beginning.
I spoke with the nicest customer service human in the world at my insurance company the other day, and she told me that my insurance company considers my entire pregnancy to fall under one "global" bill no matter when actually services are rendered or billed, so my deductible will only count once. I do have kind of magical insurance (one of the few benefits of working for a city school system...), but it's worth checking with your insurance company to find out how their policies will apply.
Yeah, no. I have BCBS. I'm gettin' screwed.
****TW: Pregnancy, loss and children mentioned**** Me: 35 DH: 38 | Married: 6/2013 | Pregnancy #1, APurp born 10/2014
Pregnancy #2, BFP 6/4/2016, MMC at 9W, D&E: 7/21/16 | Pregnancy #3, BFP 11/22/16
Just figured out all my benefits and will definitely have to meet both deductibles. Last baby didn't span 2 seperate calendar years (January-October) so it never occurred to me this time. Does anyone know if during open enrollment this year if I can change my plan to be the more expensive but much better coverage and have it count toward delivery or no because I'll be global then?
@sweett if you're asking what I think you're asking, I know they have to cover you and can't deny you for being pregnant. Your doctor may not accept your new insirance and finding a doctor with a month left of being pregnant sounds kind of stressful though.
I used to have BCBS and it was expensive, but really good coverage. Now, I've got Aetna and it's more expensive, for WORSE coverage, and added co-pays. I think they all suck.

Sorry that was confusing. We are on the state health plan (H is a teacher) and we have 3 options for insurance. We are currently on the 70/30 and the next step up is 80/20, our monthly premium would be higher but my benefits would be better and deductibles lower. All levels of the state health plan are accepted at my doctor. But after doing some more research the premiums are so much higher I probably wouldn't end up saving much of anything.
