@Dilynne I'm really sorry for what you are going through with your DH. We all get that the "forced" TTC sex isn't always fun, but I don't think it's right for him to say those hurtful things to you. And I don't think being upset is unreasonable or dramatic. You two should be a team on this and it's not up to one person to "figure it out." I really hope that when you've both had some time away from the argument that you're able to talk through it without anyone's feelings getting hurt. Huge hugs to you, girl!!
WAYDTGKU: PNV, tracking cm, temping, vitex, RRL tea and HIO once i start seeing a shift to some fertile cm
R/R/CS: So happy it's friday!!! Looking forward to this weekend. Not for any reason in particular, but DH has been working some really late hours and last night he actually got home before 8:00! We had a really great relaxing evening out by the pool grilling hot dogs, so maybe I'm just hoping for some more of that this weekend
This is the boring part of the cycle. I'm pretty sure i'm still at least a week away from ovulating. *yawn* *twiddling thumbs* I hate wishing the days away but i'd like to fast forward please. Just a little bit.
GTKY: Who is your biggest hero and why? I'm not sure I have a hero. but i admire the heck out of one of my aunts. She has adopted three special needs kids, devoted her life to mainstreaming them through school and making sure they get jobs, and now just got her Doctorate in special education. I'm blown away by the determination of that lady and am so proud of her.
Me: 30 DH: 31 Married 2010 TTC since Nov. 2015 BFP#1: 2/8/16 MC: 3/19/16 BFP#2: 9/3/16 EDD: 5/17/17
WAYDTGKU: OPKs, sex when possible, charting, temping, checking cm/cervix, PNVs, CoQ10, acupuncture, whatever I'm forgetting.
R/R/CS: My husband has to leave, again, on a work trip Monday morning. And then he'll be gone till late Thursday night. So basically my body has till Tuesday or so to make ovulation happen or it'll have to wait till next weekend to O if we're going to have a shot as decent timing. I'm barely having any EWCM at all, my advance OPK is still low and I just today started getting the pre-O migraines that typically start several days before O. So I'm not feeling overly optimistic that my body is on board with our plan for this month. But, I mean, it's okay. As most of you know, thanks to my endless complaining about everything, I'd considered TTA this month to simplify things for my upcoming RE appointment. So I can't really be too upset if our timing doesn't work out this month. My husband and I agreed that we'll try to have sex every day this weekend so we're at least making the most of the time we have and after that we'll just go with whatever happens. There isn't anything else we can do. And I guess if I still haven't ovulated by the time he's home from his trip we'll go back to trying to have sex when possible. But I'm not nearly as stressed out over timing this month as I have been most months, so that's good.
Also, on an unrelated note, I started this "bikini body" workout thing and ugh. It looked so easy in the YouTube videos! I'm really just that out of shape I guess because my arms and legs are just done, so so done, after week 1.

@schumerator awww I can see myself being both sad and amused
at DH response to the test. It’s like that’s cute that you’re excited, but no
honey, that’s not right. FX for O and that you have/had great timing. I hope
the theme park is awesome! DH and I have season passes to one and he goes more
with his coworkers than me. Granted they have every other Friday off and I don’t,
so that’s when they tend to go. But still!
@pretzel2plus1 New cars are so exciting!! I absolutely HATE
the car buying process, but driving it off the lot is fun haha. It’s so nice
when moms can relate to what we’re going through. I’m glad you were able to
have such a great conversation with yours.
@marley629 I understand the feeling of wanting to be in
control through temping. I would still temp, but maybe don’t let DH in on the
data. I’m just waiting for my DH to start complaining about me only wanting him
for his “man juice” as he calls it lol. I’m pretty sure he got that from a
movie, but I think it’s so gross!
@krys I’m sure all the traveling is going to make your chart
look insane! I’m sure that’s frustrating. Hoping O holds off until you get
home!
@yaeger07 I’m glad the weather is looking good for your
vacation! Is it an outdoor type of vacation? If so, FX it holds up for you!
Have a great time!
@grabberblue2010 I’m so sorry you’re having a rough time
right now. Tiffs with DH always make me grumpy for quite a while. I saw the
coolest piece of art from I guess Burning Man this year and it describes
arguments in relationships so well. It’s supposed to symbolize two adults with
their backs to each other, but their inner child is just dying to have that
connection again. It’s beautiful and I have felt this way SO many times. I hope
you’re able to work everything out.
@mrsdaddario health insurance is so frustrating!! I’m glad
you got it figured out, but that still sucks that it isn’t as great a deal as
you initially thought. At least you know it will all be worth it in the end
@mokay19 haha sounds like DH was glad to be home. And
exhausted. He sounds like my DH as far as information. Sometimes I think maybe I’m
just overloading him with all the science-y stuff. I should make him read TTOYF
lol
@juliebeannn I hope everything goes smoothly and your dad has a quick recovery!!

@hezzer78 you may have to let me in on that schedule that
still feels free and spontaneous! That’s DH only complain ever, is that he
doesn’t want to schedule sex. Boys. Enjoy your time with your bff! That
watermelon festival sounds amazing (and delicious)
@swimsister I am right there with you in cycle 3. We had
perfect timing last month and it didn’t happen. So of course I’m like wtf went
wrong, but at the same time feel like I really shouldn’t be complaining at all
yet. It’s still so early. We can try and keep each other sane through this next
cycle
@mandybeeslp The AF/not AF is so annoying. But you know,
maybe this will just be a really light AF for you? That might be nice! I’ve
always spotted a little bit before my period. I haven’t had it 3 days before,
but I have had it 2 days before. Hopefully it doesn’t indicate anything is
wrong.
@daisy621 Happy early birthday to dd! I remember trying to
sneak into chuck e cheese in high school because it was so fun but they
required you to have a child with you if you weren’t accompanied by an adult
lol. Have fun!
@travelingcouple BD sex is so different than fun sex. It
sucks that it gets to be a chore. Hang in there! And FX for O soon for you! I
also love that your sister is your hero. That’s such a great bond to have.
@dilynne I am so so sorry you’re going through this with
your H. I feel like H isn’t being very considerate by not working with you to
make the changes that he’s looking for. That can be a very sensitive subject
and it needs to be discussed under cool heads with each other’s feelings in
mind. I’m thinking of you. I really hope you’re able to work things out.
@kirstinh88 I know the feeling of not really having anyone
who truly understands mc. My mom actually had three before they had a
successful pregnancy. She kind of gets it, but she also had to sort of shut
down her emotions on it in order to cope. So she isn’t the most sensitive
person to talk with about it. I'm glad you have that with your friend!
@jnalexander2 I’m glad you and DH came to an agreement on
TTC. I would highly recommend temping. Just as a way to really confirm you’ve
ovulated when you think you did. It’s not going to tell you when to HIO if that’s
what he’s worried about. But I’m glad you’re getting support! And your
grandmother sounds like an amazing woman!

SOMETHING. That kind of travel can do crazy things. I hope you figure it out.
@saralee797 haha gotta love the waiting game. That’s such an
amazing thing that your DH has decided to be such an active participant! That
makes me smile for you! I may start showing my H my charts. I’ll tell him stuff
while we’re both in the bathroom getting ready for work in the mornings, but
I’m not sure it really sinks in for him. I find it fascinating, why wouldn’t
he??
@sugargirl1019 I know drinking can definitely affect temps,
but it is still confusing. I would give it another couple days and see what

@mrsbinpa I am definitely with you on the lack of motivation

R/R/CS: HSG was yesterday and things looked fine. She had a little trouble getting dye through the right tube but eventually got some to come out, then pronounced them all clear. I know it's supposed to be a diagnostic rather than therapeutic procedure, but I'm hoping it helps us. We're trying with just TI for a few more months before moving on to medicated cycles.
GTKY: Who is your biggest hero and why? This is tough, but I've loved Audrey Hepburn since I was really young. She worked with the Dutch resistance during WWII when she was a teen, then trained hard at ballet before transitioning to modeling and acting. Then won an Oscar with her beautiful debut in Roman Holiday. She made so many good movies, and towards the end of her life she helped so many people through humanitarian work with UNICEF. One of her favorite quotes was: The tender loving care of human beings will never become obsolete. People even more than things have to be restored, renewed, revived, reclaimed and redeemed and redeemed and redeemed. Never throw out anybody. I wanted nothing more than to grow up and be just like her. Kind of still do.

Thanks @KirstinH88 I'm doing ok most of the time. Every once in a while a coworker (any one of the three that had/are having babies in the last 7 months) will say something baby related that just gets me and i have a good cry in my office. @MrsJennaSheppard03 I am so jealous you were in Rome!! DH and
I went there last September and looooved it. Fingers crossed
everything normalizes for you soon.
@KirstinH88 hahaha! It feels a little ridiculous that I
spent so much of my life trying NOT to get pregnant just to find out it’s
actually kinda hard….
@Kiki75 totally thought I’d be a unicorn, but I was also
kind of panicked that I’d be a unicorn. So maybe it’s all about balance. BTW - That
video of the cycler is so cool!
@jatwal128 From the comments I’m getting it seems like cycle
3 might be where the rubber hits the road. After cycle 1 it’s like “well no one
gets it on the first try, we’ll get it right next time”, and when that doesn’t
happen it opens your eyes to what a process this could actually be.
@swimsister Right! **TW previous pregnancy** The thing that really irritates me is that I got pregnant with DS so easy. Like first month easy. I was that special snowflake. Since I had him, I was on the IUD and we worked for years to get our finances at a better point in time to have another child. Now we are ready and.....nothing! I never imagined it would take this long. But at least each month that goes by, we are able to get into even better financial shape, so I guess that's a positive.
To everyone who commented: Thanks for your input! I'm wondering if it's the sunburn. I have drank several times this cycle already (hangs head low) without it affecting my temp, so I don't know why last night would be any different. I guess I'll still pee on OPKs just in case it hasn't happened I hope it hasn't!

One of her favorite quotes was:
The tender loving care of human beings will never become obsolete.
People even more than things have to be restored, renewed, revived, reclaimed and redeemed and redeemed and redeemed.
Never throw out anybody.
I wanted nothing more than to grow up and be just like her. Kind of still do.

@MrsJennaSheppard03 I am so jealous you were in Rome!! DH and I went there last September and looooved it. Fingers crossed everything normalizes for you soon.
@KirstinH88 hahaha! It feels a little ridiculous that I spent so much of my life trying NOT to get pregnant just to find out it’s actually kinda hard….
@Kiki75 totally thought I’d be a unicorn, but I was also kind of panicked that I’d be a unicorn. So maybe it’s all about balance. BTW - That video of the cycler is so cool!
@jatwal128 From the comments I’m getting it seems like cycle 3 might be where the rubber hits the road. After cycle 1 it’s like “well no one gets it on the first try, we’ll get it right next time”, and when that doesn’t happen it opens your eyes to what a process this could actually be.
