It's wonderful to model being friendly and welcoming to new ppl. Hope your kids are just as accepting to new kids in class as you high school maturity level girls are

We've been pals for months now. Since you came out of nowhere, we don't know you so it seems a little out of place for you to start judging US.
A few things. We have been in this from the beginning have supported each other through m/c scares, hard medical issue, family problems and pregnancy positives and woes.
you waltz in out of the blue not reading any of the threads and creating a bunch of your own and because people are Leary of you which makes sense because guess what there are catfish on the bump and you never have introduced yourself. So why would people not be weary of someone who joined a pregnancy board a week before their due date.
@JMelody02 We have tons of fun here. Stick around and get to know us and you can, too. You could see how pregnant women closing in on their due dates would be skeptical of some random person coming into their established community and starting random threads. Don't you introduce yourself when you meet someone for the first time? Same here.
ETA: Also, lots of these women ARE my real friends. That happens after months of getting to know one another.
Well some ppl use their real friends and family dos support and come to the interwebs for light hearted baby fun
Also you may want to check your privilege. Not everyone has real friends and family who are supportive. A close knit internet group with established rules and culture may mean nothing to you, but for some of us this is the biggest source of support we've had for the last nine months and we don't take strangers popping up rude AW threads lightly.

Wow. Judge much? Good for you and your "real" friends, maybe they want to see a picture of a jar of m&ms and will find that somehow meaningful because they know who the hell you are. In "real life" do you just run up to groups of people you don't know, not introduce yourself to them, but just show them your m&ms and expect praise?

I hope you teach yours to put periods at the end of sentences. The grammar in this country already is horrid.
You know what, I am going to my real friends house today, and our daughters are going swimming together. We are going to have a little party. This is after their VBS and lunch. I met her on the Bump years ago.
So my Internet friends are my IRL friends.
Also, when a new student comes, it is customary to introduce themselves. Not just barge in and demand attention. Maybe at at their old school, they did XYZ. But that is not how new school does it. They are usually quite until they learn that ABC is cool here.

If you are going to be rude, at least do so with proper grammar. Ending a sentence with the word are is just not done.
Also I was very mature in high school so I take that as a compliment. Held a job, had lots of extracurricular activities, graduated top of my class, had almost a full year of college credit under my belt.
The true problem here is people with a millennial mindset of "accept me and welcome me the way without me having to do any work to get to know you, and only tell me positive things. If I don't like what you say that is clearly your problem not my own perception issue"
Well, I started at 40, and then each time it was magically Tuesday I subtracted one. That got me all the way to my current number of 2. Is there another way to count down?
I have the masticated and dried flesh of majestic, oxygen producing giants hanging on the wall of my home, shamelessly desecrated with symbols and pictures of cat-gods riding edible objects in the vast, cold nothingness of space.

Oh, so you don't want me to pat you on the back for having a scare-free pregnancy and not calling a nurse's line? Because I could've sworn that's what your AW post was for....to get praise where your friends and family obviously aren't providing enough of it, that you had to seek out a new group of people to whom you can feel superior.
