@hezzer78 We also did not want a wedding. We really did it for our families. We did it super cheap and I found the entire day incredibly stressful. But we're married and that's what counts.
This was right after the ceremony and I just love it. We forgot to take pictures of just the two of us with the photographer so I don't have many.
And this one just really shows my DH's goofy side. We couldn't get the knife through because we were on the cardboard stand instead of the cake.

My doctor said to see an RE after 6 months of trying. We have been NTNP since January but I was highly uneducated and didn't start actually charting etc. until April. WAYDTGKU: At this point, hoping I'm home in time for FW to make this month count
R/R/CS: Nothing much to report cycle wise. Just chillin, waiting, and trying to make it through the next week and a half. I'm dead ass tired today. I got to my hotel yesterday at about 1:30AM local time (12:30 PM Dallas time, which was a full 24 hours of travel). My boss asks me to come in to the office when I text her that I made it in ok (I wasn't supposed to go in). I get to the hotel, unpack, shower, and go into the office in full on Zombie Mode. I was there for about 2 hours, and then they want to go out after. FML. So we were out from 4AM local time until 10AM local time...and heavily drinking. I tried to just have a sangria, but then the drink pushers were out in force and it was Jack and cokes and then shots. OMG not what I had in mind after that long of a day. But I hung in, and today I'm hating life. HA!
GTKY: I'll have to come back and add this in when I'm back at the hotel, which shockingly has better interets than the office wifi. I actually really dislike my wedding photos because we didn't have enough money to have a good photographer (we were broke kids then, and trying to pay for it ourselves) and we were both 100+lbs heavier than we are now (I've lost 110, he's lost 160)! I keep saying on one of our anniversary trips to Cabo, we should do a vow renewal and have new photos.

(Super optimistic reports say they might have something in 2018... I'm guessing more like 2019-2020.) If I were still 23, I'd chill out. But I'm almost 33 and H is 37.

We got married in a old theater that had been renovated. We had no idea this place existed until we saw pictures that our photographer had taken there. After I saw those pictures, I knew that's where we needed to get married! This is a picture of a picture, so it's a bit blurry.

It was tough to choose just one favorite but I actually just just posted this one for Father's Day! My Dad had a stroke three days before our wedding and we weren't even sure if he'd make it out of the hospital to attend the ceremony. Not only did he get discharged but he walked himself up and down the driveway to regain his strength so he could walk me down the aisle. We decorated his cane for the occasion but he left it at the end of the aisle and made it all the way down by my side.

@kirstenH88 I love that you had a courthouse wedding. I wanted a small beach ceremony but well, I am the oldest and my parents were paying so we had a giant wedding. I can't complain. It was an awesome day!

@hezzer78 We also did not want a wedding. We really did it for our families. We did it super cheap and I found the entire day incredibly stressful. But we're married and that's what counts.
This was right after the ceremony and I just love it. We forgot to take pictures of just the two of us with the photographer so I don't have many.
And this one just really shows my DH's goofy side. We couldn't get the knife through because we were on the cardboard stand instead of the cake.

R/R/CS: Nothing much to report cycle wise. Just chillin, waiting, and trying to make it through the next week and a half. I'm dead ass tired today. I got to my hotel yesterday at about 1:30AM local time (12:30 PM Dallas time, which was a full 24 hours of travel). My boss asks me to come in to the office when I text her that I made it in ok (I wasn't supposed to go in). I get to the hotel, unpack, shower, and go into the office in full on Zombie Mode. I was there for about 2 hours, and then they want to go out after. FML. So we were out from 4AM local time until 10AM local time...and heavily drinking. I tried to just have a sangria, but then the drink pushers were out in force and it was Jack and cokes and then shots. OMG not what I had in mind after that long of a day. But I hung in, and today I'm hating life. HA!
GTKY: I'll have to come back and add this in when I'm back at the hotel, which shockingly has better interets than the office wifi. I actually really dislike my wedding photos because we didn't have enough money to have a good photographer (we were broke kids then, and trying to pay for it ourselves) and we were both 100+lbs heavier than we are now (I've lost 110, he's lost 160)! I keep saying on one of our anniversary trips to Cabo, we should do a vow renewal and have new photos.

R/R/CS: Have any of you found any information on the general cost to freeze & store sperm? Due to H's job, and the likelihood of him traveling to places where Zika is a problem, especially as it spreads, I'm thinking that it might be a good idea to start hedging our bets, both for child #1 and any other babies we might want to have between now and whenever a vaccine might get approved. (Super optimistic reports say they might have something in 2018... I'm guessing more like 2019-2020.) If I were still 23, I'd chill out. But I'm almost 33 and H is 37.

We got married in a old theater that had been renovated. We had no idea this place existed until we saw pictures that our photographer had taken there. After I saw those pictures, I knew that's where we needed to get married! This is a picture of a picture, so it's a bit blurry.

It was tough to choose just one favorite but I actually just just posted this one for Father's Day! My Dad had a stroke three days before our wedding and we weren't even sure if he'd make it out of the hospital to attend the ceremony. Not only did he get discharged but he walked himself up and down the driveway to regain his strength so he could walk me down the aisle. We decorated his cane for the occasion but he left it at the end of the aisle and made it all the way down by my side.

@Dilynne On one hand, my snap reaction is right with you--you're doing allllll of this stuff +HIO while all that he needs to do is HIO. But, when I step back and try to be reasonable, maybe there's something more to it? Nervous about becoming a parent? Feels like having you 'schedule' the HIO is emasculating and it would work better if you could tell him ahead of time the window in which he should be initiating? Worries about performance? It's worth a shot. But the bottom line is if he wants to have kids, sometimes he has to just suck it up and HIO when the time isn't right...just like you.

@BertieMeetsGertie Actually, I would say that if you're going to skip any cycles temping and doing OPKs, it would be later cycles! Just start out now getting your own personal cycle all figured out. I had a friend who TTC without OPKs for a few cycles, then tried OPKs and learned that she Os three days later than she always thought. And if he still doesn't think you need any of it, he's wrong because preseed is where it's at for TTC time. It has made a number of situations more successful and less stressful.
@Aurora1973 Now that is some serious TTC commitment. Don't feel bad about being in the courthouse camp. I'm glad we did it, but I'm so, so, so, so, so glad it's over with. I don't like planning it and I don't like paying for it!
