***QUESTION in RRCS***

Month/Cycle: 23 Temping / 6 NTNP / 8 TTC... about to start 9...

CD/DPO: 25/14 or.... maybe CD1 we'll just have to wait and see...

Timing: -2, -1(2x), 0, +1

Testing: Just took a quickie wondfo to confirm what I already know...

R/R/CS: My chart looked so pretty! ...until it began its final descent. :( My spotting so far has been so incredibly light though! Does anyone know if progesterone will actually lengthen your LP? Cos mine is usually more like 12 days, but can totally vary for me, more than it's really supposed to. If 14 days is the new thing, that would be cool! But if today is CD1 and it's only 13 then that's more my norm. First cycle on P so I don't know what to expect.

GTKY: What are some household tasks that:
You Mostly Do Yourself: Cooking, dishes, kitchen cleanup, laundry, vaccuuming/floors, bathrooms, making the bed, setting up our vitamins, tidying, grocery shopping, poo duty, watering plants, walking dogs, dog training games, wiping down walls/mirrors/baseboards/trim, eta paying the bills
Your SO Mostly Does Themselves: Mowing the lawn, hanging things, fixing things
You and Your SO Do Equally or Together: Sometimes we will grocery shop together, but then it takes so much longer and we end up coming home with all this junk I would never buy on my own! lol Sometimes he'll help with poo duty, but I really wish he would voluntarily help with that more so I felt like it was shared.

ETA @MelissaM090 Oh, woman, I really hope your crappy feeling has been cos you're totes KU!!!!! FX so hard for you and your H.... <3

Month/Cycle: 2/2

CD/DPO: 25/4

Timing: -5, -4, -3, -1, +1

Testing: no plans

R/R/CS: pouring rain this morning. Absolutely gross. Ugh.

GTKY: What are some household tasks that:
You Mostly Do Yourself: Cooking, taking care of DD (buying diapers, washing clothes, preparing food and snacks, packing daycare bag, scheduling doctor appointments), grocery shopping.
Your SO Mostly Does Themselves: mowing the lawn, laundry, general tidying.
You and Your SO Do Equally or Together: dishes, vacuuming, daycare drop off and pick up.

ETA: more chores we each do, and got rid of bold.
• Month/Cycle: 14/14

CD/DPO: 23/10

Timing: -1

Testing: not yet

R/R/CS: I'm holding out for now but SS in full force so my google history is out of control.

GTKY: What are some household tasks that:
You Mostly Do Yourself: Ha, pretty much everything!
Your SO Mostly Does Themselves: He'll walk the dogs in the evening. He also cooks way more than the average husband, so that's lovely except that he hasn't exactly figured out how to not use every single pot we have. Cleanup is a nightmare.
You and Your SO Do Equally or Together: @BusinessWife We're in the same boat! I wanted him to come grocery shopping with me to help out, but then it ended up taking double the time and we spent way more money than I ever do. Now, if I send him to the store it's with a specific list.

Feel better @MelissaM090!!

@MelissaM090 I only come over here to see how you're doing lol. I have my FX SO HARD for you!!!

@BusinessWife Are you on oral or vaginal progesterone? Last cycle I was on vaginal suppositories, I didn't get AF until I stopped them. Progesterone definitely lengthens LP to some degree.

• @mrsdaddario I think it's a fairly low dose, just 100mg orally at bedtime. It was supposed to be 3DPO-12DPO, but I was nervous b/c I O'd so early that I started at 4DPO, and he told me to just stop it at 12DPO regardless. I usually do have spotting before AF, but this is way way lighter, so I'm hoping that's a good sign. But I just know if I hadn't see that obvious spotting Tuesday night to burst my bubble (12DPO), yesterday's spotting was so light it was almost not even tinged, KWIM? I might otherwise still have had really high hopes when I tested this AM at 14DPO. :P

Month/Cycle: 1/1

CD/DPO: 32/14

Timing: good

Testing: Not testing again for a few days (last tested at 12dpo and got a negative).

R/R/CS: Not much different than yesterday- temps are still up. Not sure when my period would come if I'm not pregnant since it's my first cycle off the pill.
ETA: Just started spotting a little bit :/

GTKY: What are some household tasks that:
You Mostly Do Yourself: Laundry, most of the cleaning and cleaning up after the pets.
Your SO Mostly Does Themselves: Cooking and taking out the trash.
You and Your SO Do Equally or Together:
Grocery shopping, taking care of the bills.

• MelissaM090 Sorry your temps are being so confusing. I've got my FX for you.

BusinessWife I took 100mg vaginally twice a day during my LP from 3DPO until I ran out. I had no AF until I stopped. It also gave me a triphastic chart despite my lack of being KU. Once I stopped taking it, within two days I had my regular AF. I hate to be a bubble burster but I know that for me, progesterone was a huge optimism boost that didn't work in my favor.

Month/Cycle: 4/4 (TTCAL excluding break)

CD/DPO: 21/7

Timing: -1

Testing:
nope-gif

R/R/CS: Just ready for this week to be over. I have someone coming by the house tonight to trim all of the animals nails which is way better than hauling all three of them to the vet. Then my puppy has obedience class that my husband is taking him too so I'll have a little bit of time to myself tonight which will be nice. Also, this 21 Day Fix is making me so sore. And healthy eating sucks.

GTKY: What are some household tasks that:
You Mostly Do Yourself: I do almost all of the household cleaning.
Your SO Mostly Does Themselves: He does all cooking, dishes and laundry (minus he's lazy about folding).
You and Your SO Do Equally or Together: We both take care of the animals although he mostly takes the dogs out and I do feedings and exercising them. Garbage is taken out by whomever is available.

Month/Cycle: 8/6

CD/DPO: 14/1

Timing: -3, -2, -1,0, +1

Testing: Way too early to even think about it

R/R/CS: This cycle is flying by. Which isn't a bad thing, I suppose, but now that I've entered the TWW, I'm sure time is going to slow to a crawl. If this cycle doesn't work we'll most likely have to take next month off, because we're going on vacation the entire third week of July, plus a business trip the fourth week. I'm pretty upset by that, especially since it would be our first IUI. I'd almost rather skip the vacation! We may be able to delay it by a a day or two but not much more.

• Month/Cycle: 6

CD/DPO: 32/10

Timing: -1 -3

Testing: I tested this AM.. BFN. I usually have a 10 day luteal phase so we'll see what happens. I will probably test again tomorrow if no AF.

R/R/CS: Ugh, just bummed out about my BFN. I feel so confused about the 10 day LP thing - does that mean I should get a positive by now if I was PG or could it be possible to have to wait until 11-12 DPO for a pos? Really grasping at straws here...

GTKY: What are some household tasks that:
You Mostly Do Yourself:
bathroom cleaning, laundry, cat box/

Your SO Mostly Does Themselves: weedwacking and yard work, cooking/grilling now that I'm working later than him
You and Your SO Do Equally or Together: We do general cleaning together and we equally grocery shop.

IDK why some of this is bold and some not. It deletes my post if I try to fix it. GRRR.

• @SandwichLover I'm not really sure. BUT my guess would be that since some people don't get a positive at 10DPO and then do go on to be pg, it is conceivable that if AF doesn't show, you could still get a positive test. I would wait at least till 12DPO, try again at 14DPO etc. if still negative and no AF. ((hugs)) hope you get some good news!!! But if not, at least we'll be in it together <3

• @NYTino24 Cool! Yeah, I have seen that maybe it can, but that's the part I'm confused about like... I guess I don't understand why my doc wouldn't want me to just take it until AF came on her own? B/c wouldn't that potentially lengthen the LP as much as possible, and then if you WERE KU then you would be less likely to lose it early by stopping it? And I'm wondering how much I can expect it to be lengthened, but for me it's just whatever b/c my LPs have been so variable anyway... And if this spotting is supposed to go away if the P is working properly? I never realized that pre-menstrual spotting could be a sign of a P issue, but it makes sense, and I'm sort of bummed that the spotting is still KIND OF there, just much lighter than normal. :/

• I was MIA yesterday due to business at work/home, but I promise I read through everyone's posts!

Month/Cycle: 6 (NTNP)

CD/DPO: 31/unknown (but somewhere between 8-11 definitely)

Timing: also unknown...best case scenario -1.

Testing: Potentially tomorrow morning, knowing that if I'm only 9dpo it will likely be too early. I may wait until Monday...the in-laws are here this weekend so Saturday and Sunday are out. Realistically I will probably have CD1 by the time Monday rolls around.

R/R/CS: *TW child mentioned* successfully cut out a pumping session yesterday! down to one pump in the morning and nursing at night only. hoping that fixes my LP issues, but if not, that morning pump will be gone in a few weeks as well. DD had her one year old shots yesterday and as usual was cranky the rest of the day because it makes her legs hurt. I picked her up from daycare 2 hours early and gave her some Tylenol and bedtime an hour earlier than normal and she seemed a lot better this morning. Even though she was cranky and tired last night she still really killed it on her dinner (BBQ chicken, green beans, and tater tots) so that was impressive. That is definitely my child, I love to eat.

GTKY: What are some household tasks that:
You Mostly Do Yourself: anything involving DD basically (bottle prep, food plans, bedtime, nap schedule, laying out her clothes for the day, baths, etc), laundry, spot cleaning the house on the cleaning lady's off weeks (she's every other week), grocery planning and shopping, daycare pick up, feeding cats, bill paying, dinner most nights
Your SO Mostly Does Themselves: yard work, annoying stuff like getting things fixed around the house, wake up and daycare drop off with DD, cleaning out the litter box, cat de-hairing, trash duties, car washing, boat maintenance, DD's baths on weekends
You and Your SO Do Equally or Together: we used to do a lot together, like grocery shopping, but now generally one of us watches DD while the other gets stuff done. The only things we do together currently are things that require two sets of hands...like cutting the cats' nails and getting the one of them his medication. We occasionally still grocery shop together when we feel like dragging DD along. We cook separately some nights too. Typically about 3-4 times a week I cook for everyone, and the other days DD gets her own dinner and DH and I just make whatever we want for ourselves (this is mostly because he loves red meat and I don't eat it, so if he wants it he has to make it himself).

Testing: too early to test. I am going to test on July 4th.

R/R/CS: I am excited for our upcoming boating trip in Shasta. Going to try and not think about testing the whole time I am there. The TWW is already messing with my thoughts. I struggle with anxiety as it is but peppermint oil seems to be helping when I have bouts of anxiety.

R/R/CS: I've been fairly optimistic this cycle (temps higher since 7DPO, no absurdly-early spotting, RE saying he thinks we have a good chance in the long term), but I had some very slightly tinged CM this morning that brought me back down to earth. I tend to spot for 2-7 days before AF, so I'm guessing that's where this is headed. But hey, it's not over til it's over, right?

• @SandwichLover *lurkalurkin* Just wanted to chime in here! Last year my LP was around 10-11 days and I always thought to myself, "well with a shorter LP I should be able to test sooner, sweet!" But everything I read said we should actually wait longer after our "'missed AF" due to our short LP. This is because even though our LP's are shorter, implantation still happens at the same time in your cycle because it still takes time for the fertilized egg to travel to your uterus, and this happens typically days 7-9 so if you implanted on day 9 you most likely will not turn a test yet on day 10 or even 11. When I read that it finally made sense to me! Hope that helps, and FX for you!
• Thanks so much to @mrsdaddario and everyone else for their kind words and FX's. I've never been so afraid to test. Ha! I got my BFP with DD on a Wondfo. It was negative at 7dpo (I only tested that early because I had my annual OBGYN appointment that morning, and I didn't want any surprises there) but clearly positive at 11dpo. I didn't test in between those two dates. I do believe I was an early implanter though, as my dating ultrasound measured 3 days earlier than my O date - and DD was literally born 5 minutes before her due date (11:55pm) so I think the measurement was pretty accurate!

I did confirm my BFP with a FRER the next morning and got a positive, so that was 12dpo. At any rate, 11dpo is probably enough time if your LPs are normal length (14-ish days). GOOD LUCK! I may test tomorrow morning if you want a buddy, even though I know it could easily be too early.

• @schumerator thank you! Very interesting.

• @delujm0 That's good to know about the dates. I think my OB/GYN scared me off last month when he scolded me for testing at 12DPO and said not to test until AF is late. Of course my 12DPO BFN was because I WASN'T PREGNANT, not because I tested too early but its made me really hesitant.

I guess I just want to stop myself from going through the 'oh it's negative? maybe I'm just too early' mindfuck (sorry for the language). I want to test late enough that there is no room for interpretation.

Or maybe I'm just going crazy. It's a possibility.

• I know @MelissaM090 it is SO frustrating always being like "maybe I'm too early"... I'm going through the same thing. I'm sure every woman gets a little crazy during this time.

R/R/CS: I didn't get to take my temp this AM because I was on call for work and got called in at 4am for a surgery (normally get up at 5:45 and start work at 7am. So I was in a hurry and was woken up almost 2 hours earlier than normal. Sooo tired, I'm going to bed early tonight. I took a wondfo when I got home (after a 3 hr hold) and BFN. I'm sure I'm out at this point.

@MelissaM090 I think I read in FF that the incidence of false negatives drops significantly for tests taken on or after 11DPO, but don't quote me on that...

• Month/Cycle: 1/1 actively TTC/1 previous month NTNP

CD/DPO: 23/4

Timing: -1/0

Testing: probably July 1st, not early this month for sure...

R/R/CS: I'm babysitting for a friend all week and it's making me even more excited for a baby...it's exciting but it also makes me want to know what this month holds. I don't have my hopes too high. It's our first month actively TTC and we really just got lucky that BD was at the right time. I had family in town and we just barely kept up with life. Family drains me. Otherwise, glad that my chart this month showed a clear temp shift...I was really nervous I was going to be anovulatory. Just off BCPs and I've had one doctor tell me previously I have PCOS and another say I didn't. So, I'm feeling more positive about the whole TTC process.

You Mostly Do Yourself: Anything "detail", vacuuming, mopping, dusting...anything only a girl would notice is dirty.
Your SO Mostly Does Themselves: Garbage duty, bug killing, removing trash from vehicles...oh, and the very important removing hair from the drain, that seriously makes me gag just thinking about it.
You and Your SO Do Equally or Together: Grocery shopping, general tidying, etc. Anything where we both make the mess.
