I'm here!! Had a baby moon last week and wasn't bumping, then played catch up all day yesterday at work! You guys are sweet for checking!
Im still having Braxton Hicks contractions and impatiently awaiting my MFM/anatomy scan on Thursday. Other than that - shortness of breath, even just sitting, is my other biggest complaint.
I have small spider veins starting on my legs. Ugh.
Married 11-11-11 TTC only since Dec 2015. I had some weight to get off. Been working hard in the gym for over a year. BFP 02-15-16 with our first IT'S A BOY!!!
I wake up every morning with my hands & feet swollen, but they seem to go down after I've been up & about for an hour or so.
Last night, I was wearing a pantyliner, and I noticed either really light spotting, or really dark discharge on the liner. Nothing when I wiped and I haven't noticed anything so far today, but it still has me a bit worried. Had some really mild cramping yesterday, but it wasn't anything I was concerned about at the time. I called my dr. this morning & had to leave a message, still waiting to hear back.
@Kaessi ... my feet actually hurt more in the morning and I asked my OB about it and she said it was normal. Just FYI. I hope everything's okay with the spotting! Keep us posted... I'll be thinking about you!
Thanks @bnsmith85! I just went to the bathroom and noticed a bit more. It's brown & more like what's right at the end of your period (sorry for TMI). Dr. Google tells me that brown blood is much better than red or pink but I'm still getting increasingly apprehensive since I haven't heard back from my doctor yet.
Ugh, so sorry to hear that some of us are going through it with our pregnancies. For me, excessive back pain/ ribcage pain is my lovely symptom that popped up recently. Last night was the worst its ever been.... I had a back injury a few years ago and of course I don't think the pregnancy is helping....owwie.
I hope we all find some relief!
I have back problems due to an injury while a teenager, and the pregnancy is absolutely not helping. Also I think if I have one more person suggest those kangaroo carriers in lieu of a stroller I might lose it. People without back problems just don't understand...
@ibabyloveb87 I had to stop wearing mine about 6 weeks or so ago? I started having a reaction to them out of no where, but by the time the rash went away, my fingers were too big to wear them comfortably. I bought a fake one from JCPenney for about $15 to wear when I want something sparkly, and I have other bands I wear depending. My FIL gave DH one of his wedding bands; it's too small for DH but about a 1/2 size bigger than I usually wear so I wear that one during the work week, or I have a few Qalo bands which are silicone wedding bands, and they are super comfy. I have a glitter one and a hot pink one so I have lots of options even though I can't wear my diamonds.
My hips get really tired and tight if I walk too much (like being on my feet for hours at DD's birthday party on Saturday...) That and what I assume is carpal tunnel setting in making my hands go numb super easy, mostly in bed, are my biggest complaints right now.
Countdown to Baby H! Mommy to Elizabeth (6/18/09), preemie at 34 weeks
The dr. had me come in for an ultrasound & everything seems to be ok. Got to see baby waving & wiggling all around! She looked like she was scratching her head with her foot, it was really cute. My dr. is still a little concerned because she says it's rare to see any bleeding this late, but could be due to an irritated cervix. She wants me to come back in next week for another US & no vigorous activity or sex for 2 weeks
I'm always uncomfortable no matter how I sit, stand, or walk. I feel like my gut is going to split open and I pee like every 20 to 30 minutes. I'm pretty miserable and I still have about 15 weeks to go
@Kaessi... glad to hear everything looked good at the scan. FX that everything continues to be okay! I'll be thinking about you over the next couple of weeks!
Minding my own business going got a walk, and suddenly I really have to crap liquid. Luckily I was within 100 ft of my house. I must have broken a world record for preggo running speed.
Why can't I have constipation like other pregnant women commonly have???
I've been leaving my rings off when I know I'll be outside because I'm really scared of getting them stuck. Still on when I'm in the ac, but I have noticed them getting tighter.
@kathleenkat that sounds terrible and hilarious all at once. Reminds me of this radio show host in my home town who told this story about a time he was running and had a similar situation... Except he was far from home. Apparently he pooped in someone's bushes once and then had to go again when he was closer to home. He was going as fast as possible but still didn't make it. So gross, and hilarious (if you're not his neighbor with the bushes lol)
Those with swelling feet - have you found any super comfortable (cute) shoes? I've been wearing sandals to work, but my cute ones end up hurting. It also looks like my shoes are half a size too small now, which better just be swelling and go away after baby because I'm a shoe collector and I'm going to really, really, really, really struggle if I'm not able to wear my shoes after baby.

@MorganL925 I have been wearing my flats that are super soft leather a lot. I usually wear mostly sandals in the summer, but the flats have been more comfy lately. One of my favorite pairs are Cole Haan but if you're looking for a more affordable option, the other is Lucky Brand I got on sale at Belk. I'm sure almost any ladies' shoe brand makes the super soft leather flats though! I love Jessica Simpson shoes if she has any.

Anyone else dealing with anxiety? I don't know if it's because everything is starting to seem so real with LO but I've been having at least 3 break downs a day and I have been feeling wracked with worry.
SO and I have been together: 5 Years+ BFP: 03/10 First Baby: 10/20/2016
@Ashleymn ... I'm so sorry your anxiety is so bad! I'm not at that place but I've definitely been feeling more stressed over getting things done and having enough time before Ella arrives. For me, what helps with that kind of stress is making a plan. So make a list of what you need to get done, look at your week/weekends coming up and put down when you're going to take care of each item on the calendar. I hope things get better... if it gets too bad, talk to your doc about your options for helping so you can reduce the stress a bit.
My breasts are starting to firm up and feel heavy. I know it's normal and to be expected but after years of feeling myself up for lumps, I panic a little when I go to feel them and they're different than what I'm used to!

@Ashleymn I'm definitely having baby-related anxiety as well. It typically happens at night - last night I woke up suddenly at 2am in a panic about child care. I'm still trying to find ways to effectively manage the anxiety but you're not alone! I've been setting goals on a flexible timeline (for instance, order nursery furniture by mid-June, paint nursery by mid-July, etc.) so that I'm not overwhelmed with EVERYTHING I still have to do. Seeing tasks spaced out over the next few months helps me from thinking I'm somehow behind in planning.
@bnsmith85 I'll have to try the planning thing out. I am someone who likes to get things done and get them done as soon as possible and I feel like with growing a little human that just isn't possible, so hopefully the whole planning thing will give me piece of mind.
@suzy311 sorry you're feeling anxious too but also happy to know other people are feeling this too. I haven't tried the list thing yet but I'm going to give it a try and hopefully that will help. I hope you start feeling less anxious as well
For me, my worry more so stems from the whole Am I going to be a good enough mom, am I going to be able to provide enough for this baby, What if she gets kidnapped. lol I am a worry wart so I'm constantly thinking of worst case scenarios for when shes a kid and even a teenager. I talked to my SO about it last night and he was pretty good making me laugh about the whole thing .

@Ashleymn I'm dealing with some bad anxiety too. Not even all pregnancy related but it definitely piles on the stress. I've had a GAD for about 10 years now and the medication I used to manage my panic attacks is off limits for pregnancy, so it's really been a struggle. The last week has been really hard. I don't have much advice, just solidarity and hope it gets better for you soon!
@Ashleymn ... as long as you're giving it your all, you're doing the best job you can for your LO and I'm sure you're going to be an amazing mom. Take it easy on yourself
I didn't feel this needed it's own thread, and symptoms seemed the closest related post.
You know how baby is kicking the pelvic region right now? When does the kicking/movements move more to the stomach area? I'm plus size if that makes a difference. I'm just curious as to when people (I allow) can start feeling him kick without copping a feel.
@LauraPCOS ... I'm already feeling kicks around the belly button area (I'm at 23 weeks but have been feeling high kicks for a few weeks now) but I think it's different for everyone. I'm sure you'll start to feel that within a month or so, but that's a guess

1. I always appreciate a good Harry Potter GIF.
2. I have been feeling kicks all over the place lately. It seems in the morning the kicks are lower and then middle of the day he will start bumping around near my belly button. That's as high as they've gotten at this point. I don't have another ultrasound if everything keeps going well, but I would love to see how he's sitting in there!!

During my ultrasounds he's always in a ball or the weirdest positions so maybe that's why I always feel him so low. I also only started feeling him kick at 19 weeks and I'm 24 now, so maybe I'm delayed in the feeling.
I still mostly only feel flutters and when she flips. I'm 23 weeks today. Last night lying in bed, I really think I felt a foot or a hand a couple of inches above my belly button.
I just got back from my follow up ultrasound. The anatomy scan a few weeks ago got clear measurements and views of everything vital but the heart. They could see the heart and all chambers, but couldn't get all the things they needed. I drank an OJ on the way to the appointment this morning and my mom went and the baby was balled up sleeping. The tech kept prodding her, having me move, gave me more juice, nothing. We got a bit of a hand wave while she readjusted but nothing else. She was sleeping during our last scan too. She's measuring perfectly on time. 1.5lbs, 50th percentile. I can't help but feel nervous that something's wrong even though the tech and the doctor said it's perfectly normal. We're going to the specialist for another ultrasound only because they have super high tech machines so they'll be able to get the measurements even if baby refuses to move. Does anyone else have sleepy little ones? Would you be nervous/anxious? I should mention I've been crazy about something going wrong since before we got pregnant, so I'm not a logical person.
