Testing: Still haven't tested. Maybe I'll grab some tests on my way home from work tonight.
R/R/CS: My temp shot WAY up this morning, so now I'm wishing I had sticks to pee on! And I'm a little crampy, but think it's more due to lingering side effects from being sick on Sunday. I'm hoping this temp is not a fake out!
GTKY: What was your favorite childhood toy?
I had a small dollhouse that I absolutely loved playing with. I had all the furniture, people, etc. I spent HOURS playing with that toy.
**Loss briefly mentioned** R/R/CS: So have I had a hell of a ride the past few months. I checked in with some of you ladies well after my RE appointment that I waited quite a while for, simply to find out that my insurance will not cover any of their services because I have only had two early term losses instead of three. It is an understatement to say I was upset. So I took some time off to get off of the hormonal medication and let my body physically and emotionally re-regulate. In the past week, DH and I got back on the topic of trying again as I felt I was ready. Out of nowhere, he tells me that he isn't and never really was which just broke my heart. We discussed it at length for a few days as to why he changed his mind, and although he really wants kids, he was nervous. I encouraged him to reach out to some of his friends who are currently married with kids so he could see that his nervousness was very normal. And I'm glad that it eased his mind greatly knowing that it's ok to be nervous about having a newborn that you're responsible for. After a few months off, we are officially back in the stirrups with no additional medications like the Clomid and progesterone I was on previously. I'll be doing minimal tracking since I became obsessed with it prior. I hope you all don't mind me just jumping right back in and pardon the rant.
GTKY: What was your favorite childhood toy? I had a beanie baby at the flea market that only had 1 eye. I felt bad for him because no one else was going to love him due to his missing eye so I begged my mom to let me get him. One-Eyed Cubby has since been passed down to my younger sister.
R/R/CS: Starting to symptom spot...but I have no symptoms. Will fully admit that I went a little mystical crazy with the full moon/summer solstice phenomenon that happened last night and discovered that it's actually really good for fertility. (https://foreverconscious.com/spiritual-significance-june-solstice-2016) I don't know, probably a load of crock but I'm trying to look at the positive in everything this month.
GTKY: What was your favorite childhood toy? You ladies are going to DIE. For the longest time when I was little, my favorite toy was a plastic spoon on a glasses lanyard. I was a spoiled brat with a playroom filled with every toy imaginable and my mom bought me real diapers to put on all my dolls, but for a while, I loved that plastic spoon.
@nwegman7878 I am so glad to see you are back. Fx for you!

R/R/CS: RE visit yesterday confirmed I ovulated later than I thought so I am still in it! Had a blood test yesterday and should hear back today, but I am fully expecting it to be negative. I am kind of at a crosswords as far as TTC go. Long story short our insurance sucks and we cant afford to go forward with the testing and plan RE has until December when insurance changes. OR I accept this job offer I got and our insurance changes now, but then I have predicament of getting KU right away and not qualifying for FMLA or any Mat leave benefits. Which would also put us right around TTC in December. so unless ia m KU now and we just figure it out, I unfortunately think we may be headed towards TTA for a few months. And I am taking that realization very hard.
GTKY: What was your favorite childhood toy? My Nintendo!
Testing: I was thinking about this last night and I think I'm scared of testing this month. I'll call to schedule appointments for tests at my one year mark if this month is a no-go. That's so real. I don't want to be an adult!
R/R/CS: I came back to work yesterday from a few days off last week and I freaking nailed it. I love those days.
GTKY: I was a big matchbook car girl. Also, i loved making large boxes into houses, with Windows, artwork on walls, etc. I must be part cat.
@nwegman7878 Welcome back! Glad to hear you are doing good and ready to start TTC again! @KirstinH88 FX that the temp rise is a good sign! @momtoleo lol to your plastic spoon! Sometimes it is the simplest of toys that were the most amazing. We spent endless hours just playing with boxes, even though was had other toys, like you said.

R/R/CS: Today is my Friday which is awesome because yesterday was such a crappy day! It involved lawyers, HR, doing other people's job because they "didn't have the time", and to top off the night... I lost my laptop charger which meant the extra work I needed to do last night didn't get done. On the bright side, I'm leaving for Vegas tomorrow, going to see Garth Brooks on Friday, and... MY LITTLE BROTHER GOT ENGAGED YESTERDAY! So excited for him and his now fiancée. He called me at work after he proposed all giddy. It was adorable and actually made a crappy day not quite so crappy.
GTKY: What was your favorite childhood toy?
Books. I loved reading when I was younger and would get caught reading when I was supposed to be doing other things. Like sleeping.

GTKY: What was your favorite childhood toy? I was obsessed with Beanie Babies. Still waiting for the day when they'll be worth a ton of cash....
@nwegman7878 Welcome back! CD/DPO: 23/12
Timing: -2, -1(2x), O, +1
Testing: Thursday, June 23rd, (14 DPO), if I make it that far...
R/R/CS: Glad that I'm not spotting yet, so at least that means the progesterone is helping there. Temps are still up well above coverline, but dropped a bit today. Of course, I still managed to find a PG chart in the Gallery that looks an awful lot like mine!!!! <img src="https://us.v-cdn.net/5020794/uploads/editor/lc/kzcd0pzlp7ib.jpg" alt="" height="290" width="415"> Buuuuut, I dunno, I'm still feeling pretty much out based on my appetite yesterday, and CM seems similar to my usual premenstrual pattern kinda? just minus the spotting so... ya. This lady got her BFP on CD12, so I will just have to wait and see....!!!
GTKY: What was your favorite childhood toy? I had a very special blanket and a very special teddy bear... Pretty sure I brought that bear to college with me! lol
@kirstinh88 Yay for a temp spike! And I'm impressed at your will power for not testing. @nwegman7878 SO good to hear from you again!! We definitely don't mind you jumping back in OR the rant. SO glad you took the time you needed and that both you and H are on the same page. @jedially85 Ugh, sorry about your insurance issues. :-( Hope you and H figure out a solution you are comfortable with. @pepperat Can I just copy and paste your responses for cd/dpo, timing, and testing? @Linzrunz so excited for you to run off to vegas to get a break from all the crap you've got going on right now! And how exciting for your brother! I love weddings. ETA: @BusinessWife I'm having my typical post-O CM patterns which of course makes me feel out! Blah. Hopefully we're both wrong! Your chart overlay is lookin' pretty darn good.
Month/Cycle: 10/10
CD/DPO: 23/7
Timing: pretty dang good if I do say so myself
Testing: starting to feel like I won't need to...
R/R/CS: My temps have been so low this LP and NOT climbing like they normally do, so not feelin' real optimistic here. However, every other cycle when they climb higher it has obviously been unsuccessful, so maybe something out of the norm is a good thing? Really grasping at straws here. Oh, also, as of last night, instead of BFP dreams, I'm getting AF dreams. At least they are more realistic, ha.
GTKY: What was your favorite childhood toy? I loved playmobil sets. Particularly this dollhouse: I had to receive this one as a combo Christmas/birthday present because it was a tad pricey, but totally worth it. I still remember how excited I was. Also, I still have all my playmobil sets so that a future child can play with them, but it looks like I'll just be playing with them. ;-)
I missed all you ladies so much! I'll probably only be checking in during the work week as I promised DH I'd take a more relaxed approach this time around. If I start obsessing as bad as before, he's going to go crazy.
momtoleo Now you've given me something else crazy to read up on. Thanks haha
JediAlly85 Thanks for the welcome back and I'm sorry that you feel like you're in such a tight spot. I definitely understand the struggles of insurance. I pay for mine out of pockets so I have great coverage just incase I do end up KU. Hopefully you and DH can talk about it and figure out what's going to be the best option for you.
jmn1985 I'm sorry that your one year seems like it's fast approaching. As someone whose undergone almost every form of fertility testing, if nothing else it gives you a sense of closure. If something is wrong, you have the opportunity to make changes to improve the situation. If not, you know that you're healthy and will receive the additional guidance you may need to help TTC. FX for you.
PepperAT Hooray for familiar faces! Also, that timing GIF is perfect. Wish I would have thought of that on my 10 day run haha.
linzrunz Good to hear from you. Hope all is well. I'm super jealous that you're seeing Garth Brooks (I missed his last tour around here) and congrats to your brother! Sounds like you have a lot of excitement going on.
EALasagna45 Thanks! Also, FX your crosshairs are here to stay.
BusinessWife Thank you. It feels good to be back. I feel like I was missing my partners in crime while I was away. Also, the chart overlay tool is evil. It always brought out my BSC. FX the spotting stays away!
felix08 My almost cycle buddy, I missed you. Good to see that are cycles are close to being in sync yet again so I have someone to experience my BSC in tandem with. FX your temp keeps steadily climbing upwards.
Testing: No current plans, but FF recommends I test on my anniversary. That would be a great anniversary present.
R/R/CS: I'm getting less sore after my workout. This is week three of Barre3, and I've been going 3 days per week. I've also been researching exercises that help with birth and delivery so that I can prepare early. I'd hate to wait until actually being pregnant to decide to improve my health.
I've also ordered "Orgasmic Birth" from Amazon. I am interested in learning as much about natural birth as I can, since that's what I plan to do, assuming I am capable of getting pregnant in the first place. If I'm not, well, at least I'll know lots about it anyway.
GTKY: What was your favorite childhood toy? Barbies in general. Particularly Teen Skipper, but I loved Barbies above all else.
Yay @nwegman7878! So glad to see you back! I was just thinking about you a couple of days ago. Wishing you nothing but a stress free short stay here! (SN change..... I used to be jenmlangtake2)

Testing: no. Unless AF isn't here Saturday morning
R/R/CS: just chugging along this cycle. FF is acting up this morning. The app opens but then automatically shuts down. I'm gonna take that as a sign to leave it be today.
GTKY: What was your favorite childhood toy? Lite brite!!!
R/R/CS: Sorry I disappeared for a few days. You guys were all so supportive and wonderful on Friday when I was complaining about DH not applying for jobs. It was really, really awesome. I felt so much better.
I needed a couple of days to not obsess over TWW and deal with other life issues. Yesterday I finally got my root canal. It was absolutely no big deal. Super good looking dentist who smelled amazing didn't hurt either. A little sore today, but I've had worse. Just hoping insurance issues and everything can be sorted out today to set up a follow up to get my permanent crown done. Also, about 7dpo is when the craziness starts coming out. So, here comes the crazy for at least the next 3 days (if I get a 10dpo BFP).
Also, I really did miss you all while I was gone the last few days. I am going to hang out now for awhile, if that is ok with you.
GTKY: What was your favorite childhood toy?
I really liked my American Girl dolls and also Barbies. And Playmobil was a huge hit with my sister and I. I also saved all mine. @felix08

@canokr01 Happy Anniversary!!! @nwegman7878 welcome back!!! You were missed around here. Sorry your insurance doesn't kick in until 3 losses. ***TW in R/R/CS*****
R/R/CS: At now at the point in my cycle where I am frustrated and just want AF to giddy the f-up so we can get a move on. I have a wedding on 09Jul which is the due date of my second loss. At least now I can drink all the wine & party that weekend during all the festivities.
GTKY: What was your favorite childhood toy? I was a big fan of Barbies/Jem dolls, My Little Ponies, and Pound Puppies/Purries when I was little. I am also of the trampled parents in Toys R Us for Cabbage Patch Kids. You know you are getting old AF when your childhood toys are being re-issued like throw back items......
@canokr01Sorry you're puppy's not feeling great, but have a safe/fun trip and a Happy Anniversary!!!!! :D @SandwichLover Arggghhhh hang in there, hopefully AF stays away! @MrsBinPA I know what you mean about just getting on with it... I jut haven't tested yet so I maybe have that faint glimmer of hope, but not really. Finding myself procrastinating by working on my virtual cloth diaper-stash. If I can make it though to AF without blowing $$$ on cloth diapers in a fit of desperation, it will be a good thing. But I do appreciate you're rooting for us!!! I need to just put it out of my mind and get down to business here...
@MrsBinPA I'm sorry you have that day looming in your future. I hope you get yourself a big bottle of wine and something tasty to help you feel better.
Month/Cycle: 11/3TTCAL
CD/DPO: 30/13
Timing:-3,-2,0
Testing: Every day, BFNs and expecting AF tomorrow or the next day.
R/R/CS: *TW- losses mentioned* I would be nervous about even getting a BFP at this point, both my previous pregnancies implanted super late, at 13 and 14 dpo, and ended at 6 and 8 weeks respectively. I really don't want to have to go through this again.
GTKY: What was your favorite childhood toy? A stuffed collie dog named Lad (after the famous books). I slept with it every night and it is still in the cabinet next to my bed.
R/R/CS: Temp went back up today, but BFN this AM. My temps usually are about this range, so it's nothing out of the ordinary. It's still a little early, my LP is 13 days, but I'm feeling like I'm out. If I am out, then July will be the last cycle before I finally get to see the OBGYN for my "preconception" appt. Maybe I'll get some answers and be able to get labs done by then. Feels so long from now
GTKY: What was your favorite childhood toy? I loved playing with Barbies!
@housewifehobbyist So sorry that ttcal is getting to you today... ((hugs)) FWIW, I'm not so sure getting a bfp at 13-14 dpo is really considered all that late, is it? I thought I read somewhere about if you haven't gotten af by 18dpo, then test bc you're probably pregnant! I know most of us around here aren't waiting near that long, but I do hope you'll try not to think the worst... <3
@NurseMarie9 so sorry about the negative test - FX it's still early!! ((Hugs))
Botched temping this cycle...so most of this is a pile of nonsense.
Also *TW* existing child/previous pregnancy mentioned
Month/Cycle: 6 (NTNP)
CD/DPO: 29/somewhere between 6-9 (based on non-temping symptoms)
Timing: CD15 and CD19 are the only relevant dates, timing could be good or terrible depending on O date
Testing: if I make it to CD35 definitely (none of my PP cycles have made it that far, and that was my "normal" cycle length before DD). Possibly this Friday morning, which would be CD32 (only because the in-laws are in town for the weekend, and I refuse to test with them in my house)
R/R/CS: With DD I had to be vigilant about EOD for three cycles before getting a BFP, so it's hard for me to imagine actually getting pregnant while only NTNP and having sex infrequently. But for some reason this cycle I'm seeing a lot of similarities as to the cycle that I conceived DD. This didn't happen in previous PP cycles. However, this could easily be because I'm pump-weaning, so my hormones are a giant question mark anyway right now. I'm not overly anxious about it. This is a totally weird "symptom" but when I looked back at the cycle I conceived DD, on the evening of 6dpo I had the WORST indigestion...it felt like I had the world's largest gas bubble in my belly, and I was crampy and burpy for an hour or so. I remember thinking that day "huh, I wonder if this is implantation related" and I guess looking back it COULD have been (but could have been nothing also). And then that same thing happened to me on CD26 this month. And I've been super tired the past few days, which also was a feature of my first pregnancy. So I don't know. other than being super tired, I had no pregnancy symptoms the first time around until 7 weeks, when my boobs hurt for about 3 weeks and then stopped hurting. The REAL fun started at the end of the second tri with the heartburn. Ugh.
GTKY: What was your favorite childhood toy? God too many to count, and shout out to Mall Madness above. I had a favorite stuffed koala, and a dollhouse that my grandfather made for me that looked just like the house I grew up in, so that was awesome. And I loved original Nintendo, obviously. :-)
@BusinessWife I was getting faint BFP at 17-18 dpo, but implantation was 14-15 (you could see a clear dip that correlated the timing of the faint BFP). Very late BFPs do not end well for me.
@housewifehobbyist I'm sorry to hear that. I understand your concern though. I was 16DPO the first and 17DPO the second. Neither was a happy ending. Us late implanters never seem to be taken too serious at the doctors. MY OB put my on Progesterone for 3 cycles to see if it would help but I didn't have much luck.
*tw- losses* @nwegman7878 Sorry about your losses, and the fact that progesterone didn't help. It's frustrating. My doctor is one of the best in NYC (he used to head up a major hospital and then semi retired to a very small private practice. My old gyn stopped taking my insurance so she asked that he take me on). From what he said, it is likely a combination of my long LPs allowing it and a genetically unfit embryo trying to implant, which is why it takes so long. He wouldn't put me on progesterone because he thought mine was dropping for a reason, which I understand. End of July is the year mark for me and he suggested genetic testing and testing sperm/egg quality at that point. Not sure if that helps you at all, but I thought I'd share.
@MollyandD That is so good that you are working out like that. We have a pilates studio nearby I have been thinking would be great to try, but I also know it's not cheap! But would be an awesome way to get body ready for baby, too, I think. I haven't seen orgasm birth, I might look for that! lol There was one I was going to get called natural hospital birth: the best of both worlds. Since there are NO BIRTHING CENTERS in the entire State of NJ. Really?!?! So we pretty much have our hospital in mind, (unless we go all the way with home birth, which we shall see...) but I think it's So super important to go into it being prepared to be your own and your baby's best advocate, and hopefully have a friend/doula who is on the same page as well! Luckily, my health plan covers <strike>10%</strike> 100%!!! midwifery so I am all: <img src="https://cdn.smosh.com/sites/default/files/ftpuploads/bloguploads/super-smosh-high-five.gif" alt="" height="223" width="445"> My mom is a physician too, so she is like All. In. with the whole hospital scene, so she might actually die of a heart attack if I told her we were looking at home birth. lol The good news is, if there are any complications, you do want to have the doctors close by, but there are ways to do it that don't have to feel so clinical, I think.
@Marley629 Ugh! That is so annoying when the tech is acting up! Sometimes I think you're so right though and taking it as a sign for break can be a good thing. ;) BUT! I saw you said @beary67 taught you how to mobile gif? I tried what it said on the first page of the thread and it didn't work for me! Do I need to get giphy or something?
@delujm0 Sorry your temps are such nonsense! Grr! I am fascinated though about TTFAS since we hope to have a big family. One of the benefits of this new system I'm learning called Creighton is that it doesn't rely on temps - only CM. So once you learn it, apparently it's great for postpartum because if you're tracking then that first cycle doesn't have to sneak up on you, and then you also wouldn't have to worry about temps getting all screwed up from dealing with the LO at all hours, either. I'm still learning, but I'm telling you, that is a definite plus there, IMHO.
@Businesswife I relied on CM when I was waiting on my first cycle. My issue is that I would have multiple batches of CM in any given cycle. which used to happen to me before too (and is maybe connected to my always getting multiple rounds of positive OPKs when I was trying the first time). But before my first period PP, I had EWCM for like WEEKS. I actually had my annual OBGYN appointment after about 3 weeks of EWCM, and from the internal exam she said I felt bloated...I have a history of getting cysts surgically removed, so she was concerned enough about it to order a ultrasound. While the tech was in there I was like "hey, any way you can tell if I'm anywhere near ovulating while you're in there?" and she was like "I bet it's in the next couple of days." When I met with my doctor afterwards she was like OMG USE PROTECTION CAN I GIVE YOU SOME BIRTH CONTROL. Apparently I was getting ready to ovulate at least 2, if not 3, mature follicles (hence the bloating). Having a big family would be awesome, but I was NOT ready to potentially conceive twins when I had a 6 month old at home. I completely abstained until my period showed up 2 weeks later.
I did temp for the first 3 cycles PP, but my LPs were so short it was bumming me out, so I stopped. I tried to start up again this cycle, but I was sleeping like garbage (can't even blame the kid, she sleeps through the night). I need to suck it up and start again next cycle. I will look into this Creighton situation though, that does sound interesting. :-)
@felix08 I haven't tested yet only because I don't keep any tests on hand. If I want to test, I have to drive to the store and buy some. So...makes it a little easier not to test at every whim. But today I think I'm going to the store.
@MollyandD A BFP would make a great anniversary present! How many dpo will you be? And Mall Madness was amazing. I remember my sister and I playing it for HOURS.
@mrstuessy I didn't have any American Girl dolls, but I did have the Kirsten book series and I loved it (mostly because her name was so similar to mine)
@housewifehobbyist Thank you! I don't keep tests on hand, so it makes it a little easier! So sorry for you losses. I have also experienced one and that may add to the reason why I'm so hesitant to test.
@SandwichLover Thank you! I guess the grilled cheese for lunch is fitting to your screen name.
Month/Cycle: 5/5 CD/DPO: 15/1 Timing: -5,-3,-2,-1 Testing: R/R/CS: Ordinarily I'd post some cutesy pineapple gifs, but I've got a wicked sore throat so pineapple sounds like the worst ever. @KirstinH88 my anniversary is one week from today. It's the cotton anniversary, so we are getting new robes this year. Last year was paper, and I had a star named after him (yes, I know NASA doesn't care or recognize it) and gave him the paper certificate, and he gave me a book of love quotes. I'll be 12 DPO according to FF, but 11 according to when I believe I ovulated. Last month, my first temping, my luteal phase was 11 days and I started my period on the 12th day.
@MollyandD that is so cute! DH and I (well mostly I) do the same thing. For paper, I gave him a framed picture that said "Always and Forever," our last name and Est. 5/30/2013. For cotton, I gave him a bunch of towels, new shirts, boxers, etc. And this last year was leather. I was running out of time and low on funds, so he got a couple new belts.
Fx for you that this is your cycle! It would be such a special gift.

Thank you! FX for you too. I hope we are BM buddies starting immediately.
I love doing traditional gifts. Birthdays and Christmas are fun for those other random gifts, but I like making the anniversary gifts stand out in a different way.
Re: TWW Tuesday
I had a small dollhouse that I absolutely loved playing with. I had all the furniture, people, etc. I spent HOURS playing with that toy.

R/R/CS: So have I had a hell of a ride the past few months.

@pepperat Can I just copy and paste your responses for cd/dpo, timing, and testing?
@Linzrunz so excited for you to run off to vegas to get a break from all the crap you've got going on right now! And how exciting for your brother! I love weddings.

Particularly this dollhouse:
I had to receive this one as a combo Christmas/birthday present because it was a tad pricey, but totally worth it. I still remember how excited I was. Also, I still have all my playmobil sets so that a future child can play with them, but it looks like I'll just be playing with them. ;-)
KirstinH88 FX that your temps are legitimate.
momtoleo Now you've given me something else crazy to read up on.

@canokr01 Happy Anniversary!
@MrsBinPA I hope AF arrives soon so you can move on to another cycle. Hugs. I'm sorry for your loss.
@housewifehobbyist Hugs. Sorry for the BFN.
@NurseMarie9 Hugs. I think 9 DPO is still early if you have a 13 day LP.
@delujm0 Hopefully your symptoms mean something good!

My mom is a physician too, so she is like All. In. with the whole hospital scene, so she might actually die of a heart attack if I told her we were looking at home birth. lol The good news is, if there are any complications, you do want to have the doctors close by, but there are ways to do it that don't have to feel so clinical, I think.

Ordinarily I'd post some cutesy pineapple gifs, but I've got a wicked sore throat so pineapple sounds like the worst ever.

Probably our computer. My dad worked in the tech industry I learned the foundations of reading because my dad got tired of getting called over to start new games, so he wrote on an index card all of the commands.

I love doing traditional gifts. Birthdays and Christmas are fun for those other random gifts, but I like making the anniversary gifts stand out in a different way.
