And seriously, Sansa - you're a bad ass. You really are. But WHYYYYYY didn't you tell Jon the Knight of the Vale were coming? She sat there are whined (rightfully so) that he gave her no credit or say in anything and he gives her a chance and she withhold CRUCIAL information. I'm starting to think that Sansa is a true product of the evil and plotting world she's been living in now.

I know when I heard him say he hadn't fed them in 7 days I was like I really hope they eat you... Also glad Sansa was the one who got to be there when it happened.

So is it just me or was Jon lucky to the point of it almost being stupid. Like don't get me wrong I'm really glad he won it's just how on earth did he not get hit by an arrow? He was not being smart in this episode.

Fueled by hatred and anger for Rickon and Winterfell et al. It's exactly what Bolton wanted! He played right into it. Should have listened to Sansa.

@CallMeLauraJane Honestly, I think it was dramatic effect mostly, but also Sansa was probs like "F U for not listening to me, so I'm going to take all the credit for saving the day."

@marriedhamstermom Azor Ahai is too important to be hit my arrows! The God of Light must have protected him

Also, anyone else think Sansa might be preggo and that's why she was so weird when Ramsay was like "You'll always have part of me with you"?????

I'm loving Sansa's character progression.

And that smile....that was great.
I don't think she told Jon LF was coming because she wasn't sure he would.

Considered it, but I don't think she is. I think he really meant b/c of how she has changed after her experience with him. She's more cunning, ruthless and rough. That's a little part of him that he gave to her.

I'm not sure what I think, but they do sure keep hinting at it. Just like when she was talking with Little Finger before when she was making him guess what Ramsey did to her. She said that she could still FEEL what he did to her. So I wouldn't be too surprised.

@gingersnap I feel like Sansa has gone from being the most annoying character to the best character in the series. Her development has been amazing, and Sophie Turner has been killing it.

@marriedhamstermom YES I was watching that whole (amazing) battle sequence and I kept thinking howwww has he not gotten stabbed yet? I'm glad, of course, but damn was Jon lucky.

So does anyone think that Sansa promised to marry Littlefinger? I'm wondering what exactly she wrote to him that made him come running to her.
Also hope we find out what Cersei's "rumor" is. Maybe she's planning on blowing up the sept?!?

I don't think she promised, although she may have hinted or led him to believe there's a chance.
I think he helped because he felt like shit for marring her off, and wants her hand in marriage for his own agenda.
I'm starting to like Cersei in a strange way....

Late to the party but SQUEE! I was so pleased with this episode, for a lot of reasons. Dany kicking ass with the dragons in the beginning, Sansa being a total badass bringing in the Vale ( that smile of hers was priceless!) and Ramsey FINALLY getting what he deserved. It's so rare that good things happen to the characters I like but this episode was like a giant hug.

I actually think Sansa did promise to marry Little Finger, but that ties into my pregnant theory. I think she agreed to do it so she can pretend the baby isn't Ramsey's.

Also I think Cersei's rumor ties into what Tyrion was telling Dany about the wildfire all throughout the city. If Jamie told Tyrion he obviously told Cersei as well and I think Cersei's gone a little crazy and will let the city burn before she goes on trial.

I don't think Sansa has promised to marry little finger but I think he's going to talk her into it now that she's been married 3 times, been violently deflowered and he has the fucking only army in the north. I mean she doesn't have a lot of options.

Hes such a creep. I think he waited on purpose to make sure everyone was dead but his dudes and she wasn't sure if he was coming.

Did you see the director/creator interview about him? I guess he really loved her mom, so he loves Sansa by extension. I got really creeped out by that. Like your mom is gone now so I'll take you? Gross. (I confess I haven't read any of the books so I have little insight.)

I loved it, but I kept calling everything from the beginning. Anyone else feel like the events this season have been more obvious? Maybe it's the new writers?

Also, my pregnant brain was very thankful for the simplicity of this episode -- only showing two storylines makes everything so much easier to follow

My weird theory about Jon being so lucky in battle was that Mellisandre 's spell somehow left him with some sort of protection? Feeble theory, but it was almost like he was invisible.
And YES loving the dynamic between Danerys and Yarra. Bicurious friendship potential for sure.

Uhm I 'watched' maybe 20-25 minutes - The rest of the time my head was buried in hubby's armpit or behind his back. I listened to everything though - it was intense!
