@brzvice I was never a big chevron fan. I'm a nail tech and everyone wants chevron nails. But I went gray chevron crazy for my nursery.
@LGW2015 Aren't they like 9 or 10 years apart? That's not that bad given she's in her mid-20s. My husband and I are 8 years apart and we've been together since I was 23. I don't see a problem with large age gaps so long as the younger person is an appropriate age.
Lol I still think of Taylor swift as a teeny bopper. It's probably her country sweetheart image but I don't think of her as 25. I just can't picture the two of them together at all. I feel like they're from two different worlds. Ironically I'm the same age as Taylor Swift and I was in a long term relationship with someone the same age as Tom Hiddleston. I honestly had no idea how old either of them were when I posted, just seems like they're on different levels.
More of you ladies should participate in Man Crush Monday...that way (31-year) old fogeys like me will know who Morrissey, Middleston, and Cumberwhoever are!
UO for the week- I am so over the color gray and Chevron prints. Ugh.
More for me!!!
LOL and me!! My sons nursery is grey on grey!! LOVE IT!
Married 11-11-11 TTC only since Dec 2015. I had some weight to get off. Been working hard in the gym for over a year. BFP 02-15-16 with our first IT'S A BOY!!!

Ditto! The only reason we moved away from gray walls in the nursery is b/c I just love all the gray gliders so much and didn't want them to blend in together lol... #givemeallthegray
I think a lot of them are great! But I don't know... maybe it's because I live in the South, but a lot of the time I don't find the maternity shots all that great looking. Because most women here (idk when is the "normal" time to take them) do the shoot when they are suuuuuuper pregnant, and I'm just looking at that lady's smiling face thinking that behind those glittery eyes is a long scream of "it's a million degrees out here and my back hurts and my legs hurt and there's only so many ways I can lovingly look at my husband and rub my belly and I'm hungry and tired and I have sweat dripping down my back and I'm getting eaten up with mosquito bites and the sun is blinding me and this is the worst two hours I just want a nice cold A/C and to sit down!"
I'm probably more of a Cumberbitch than a Hiddlestoner, but the love is there. And the accent! Just ::swoon:: Good for you Taylor.
My UO: I respect their artistry and talent, but I dislike almost all of the music by Justin Timberlake and Usher. I've tried, and I just can't really stand either of them. I feel like I'm totally missing out on the hype. And Pitbull and Flo Rida just need to go away at this point.
I didn't realise usher had artistry or talent. Am I missing something? I mean, all of his songs are about being "in da club."
Taylor Swift was born in 1989 and Hiddleston in 1981. 8 years is hardly a huge age difference. They are both millionaires and run in the same crowd. I'd say they're on the same level.
13 years is not gross either. Unless you are 13 years old.
I didn't realise usher had artistry or talent. Am I missing something? I mean, all of his songs are about being "in da club."
It was my stab at diplomacy. I've had several IRL people clutch at pearls when finding out I'm not only not a fan, but that I just don't buy it. Business acumen I guess, but I still don't buy in.
I didn't like Donald trump for even a second. I am in Canada so don't have a say obviously but I just don't like him at all. I also don't like our prime minister right now either.
But Justin Trudeau is HOT. He beats the pants off our national politicians.

I never liked Trump either (and still don't), but I also didn't realize that was an unpopular opinion, most people I've talked to think he's a big joke and dangerous.
I literally don't know one person who supports trump. It's like these people are mythical, racist unicorns or something.
My friend's husband does. His reason, "well, he's good at managing money and that's what we care about." I literally had to just turn around and walk away from him before I ruined a 10 year friendship over treating her husband like the moron he is.

Omg. Since when do multiple bankruptcies = good at managing money?

TRAPPED IN THE BOX!! HALP!
Unfortunately, I have family members who LOVE Trump, so does my SO. Both my SO and I loathe Trump. That being said family gatherings with our family members who love Trump are always fun. (especially when they're both very vocal about politics but the only reason why they're voting for trump is "hes not a politician and he's good with money." Or my personal favorite "my husbands voting for him so I have to too". **side eye)
My OU is not only do I loathe Trump but I also loathe Clinton.
SO and I have been together: 5 Years+ BFP: 03/10 First Baby: 10/20/2016
I'm not a big Clinton fan, but she's the lesser of the evils by far. My dad is probs going to vote for Trump and I feel like I need therapy just thinking about it. The man that RAISED ME voting for someone who stands for so much that I am against. Seriously, it has really caused a lot of inner turmoil.
ETA: I was reeeeeeeally trying to stay out of the political candidate conversation because it takes over my life everywhere else, but clearly I just can't. I JUST CANNOT.
My husband was not eligible to vote until recently. I don't know if he realizes he can register now, but I doubt he cares and I'm not going to tell him. I'm afraid he'd vote Trump honestly. He hates Clinton and once said that he thinks Trump could do some good cause he would create lots of jobs. He knew better than to admit this to me, my son ratted him out.
He never gave a shit about politics so it never occurred to me to find out his political stance. He's very liberal on social issues like I am, so I guess I assumed we'd see eye-to-eye on most things. I don't really care, I know he would never be a full-fledged Trump supporter, I'm just stumped as to why a Mexican man would have anything good to say about Trump. Lol

I'm surprised so many people like him. We know some people in Arizona and a lot who go there for winters and they said Everyone down there just loves him more than anything!

He does have nice hair! Too bad that's all he has going for him.

Not to mention, ummm... There's so much more we care about. Can you even imagine Trump speaking with foreign dignitaries?!
At this point everyone knows I live in Europe. I cannot tell you how many people have asked me to PLEASE EXPLAIN AMERICA'S LOVE FOR TRUMP. I cannot do it. I have no explanation. I mean, I appreciate he is good at what he does, and I like that he refused to fit into one of two very narrow political categories, but none of that changes the fact that he is an entitled, racist, misogynistic bully with no diplomatic leaning whatsoever. I actually use the example of imagining an international meeting with him discussing strategy with Putin and Erdoğan. Then add in Trudeau and a few humanitarian EU delegates. It would be a reality TV show. And we know Trump LOVES reality TV.
If anyone ever needs a place to escape to, hit me up
The thought of Trump winning is enough to make me vomit and induce a full-fledged panic attack for me, so (in addition to the fact that I fell asleep mid-discussion) I've been trying to lean on my trusty denial but wanted just to say it makes me feel so, so incredibly sad my daughter will be born in a year the presidential election was made into a bad joke by this POS, and may god have mercy on our souls if that many people hate our country and all of its citizens enough to elect him. Literally feels like a nightmare to me, and I just want to wake up or at least fast fwd to have my biracial 2-month-old safely in my arms in a non-Trump America
I can understand wanting someone non establishment in the WH. I'm there too.
But that's literally the only redeeming quality I can come up with.
Being in business =/= having a good grasp on economics or policy. The opposite is likely true, as it hasn't been the gov't sending jobs over seas, but companies and corporations that have their own interests in hand- not those of the nation's or the people (to be fair to businesses, why should they? They're utilizing the situation to their own benefit.)
As an American, I CAN NOT support someone that speaks so toxically about fellow citizens and demographics. He could have a flawless political record and a proven knowledge of diplomacy, military strategy, and constitutional law, and I would still would not vote for him. No one that makes fun of the disabled, demonizes minorities and religions, and has a long rich history as a misogynist deserves to be representing our nation. I am disappointed in the quality of our political process, media, parties, and critical thinking skills of our citizens that he is the nominee.
Not to mention that it's skeezy as hell that he refuses to release his taxes to the public. Whatcha hiding there Trump...
I don't understand voting for Trump. I just don't understand.
I'm not head over heels about Clinton either but like it was said above, she's the lesser of the two evils. I hate that I'm voting that way this election but those are the candidates that we have. NJ was late in the primaries so Trump was already the nominee and Clinton was already beating Sanders but I still voted for my Bern. My heart is where it is but come November the Hills will get my vote if she is indeed the one running against Trump. I'm waiting to see who they choose as VP now. It'll be interesting to see if she chooses Elizabeth Warren. And Trump? No clue.
FI is a Trump Supporter, I am not. At all. EVER. Anytime we even remotely discuss politics, I find myself becoming less tolerant of and less attracted to him in the moment. He HATES Clinton, I don't like her either but if I had to choose, it wouldn't be Trump even if I were being skinned alive and doused in rubbing alcohol and salt. REALLY makes me just not want to vote.
@AllyTheKid noo! Even if it's choosing the lesser of 2 evils for you, discouragement and frustration making good people not vote is part of the reason those type of people get elected!
@UponAStar16 I'll still vote! Just expressing my distaste, I am one of those "it's my duty as an American to vote" people. I'm just sad and disappointed in this country for allowing it to come down to this.
