With both DDs i lost weight (not necessarily due to vomiting, mostly due to aversions) and didn't get back to prepregnancy weight until 20 weeks. My midwife was a little worried about it with #1 but it turned out to just be my typical progression.
But the aversions suuuuuck so much. 9w+4 here and I'm still adding aversions to my list. Apparently the poppy has decide it is vegetarian (but just a chips, pasta and cereal kind of vegetarian) and we are quickly heading towards vegan.
DD1 (2008) DD2 (2010), #3 (DH's first bio kid) on the way in January 2017! Almost always mobile bumping--forgive my typos.
I'm having serious aversions too which is leading me to eat a lot of chips and baked goods, but not a lot of healthy things. Haven't gained weight yet and I don't know how. The only thought is my weight is up a little from last pregnancy, so maybe I have less weight to gain (hopeful thinking)?
You're not alone. I'm still having major aversions and MS (I'm 10w6d). With my first they didn't go away completely until 15/16 weeks. Unfortunately we probably have a few more weeks to go before they're gone.
At 11 weeks, I'll still see random things that turn my stomach. Eggs have been my only true aversion though. It doesn't matter how they're prepared. The smell, the look, it's enough to make me sick just thinking about it! This aversion was actually one of my first signs I was pregnant before my BFP and it's still here.
I had an aversion to coffee and tea my entire pregnancy last time. My sickness wasn't bad and got better as it went on but the aversions didn't really.
Yes, I've got aversions, too. I can tell I've lost a couple pounds. Pizza absolutely disgusts me. As does regular tap water. I can only drink carbonated water.
My food adversions have been mexican food, eggs, and bacon. Makes it hard because my husband loves all 3 of those so we continue the argument of "where to eat?"
