Up super early this morning and can't get back to sleep. Guess I could go work out or something....
Month/Cycle: 5/5

WAYDTGKU: most of the things
R/R/CS: still confused by relatively high temps. I hate staring at my chart waiting for it to tell me things, then wishing the days away so I can see tomorrow's temp to know more. Such is WTO life.
GTKY: What was your first job? Did you enjoy it?
My first job was at a teen girls clothing store, and I hated it and only worked there for two weeks. During that time I got another job in the same mall at a coffee shop called Caribou Coffee and I loved it so much! I worked there for two years until I found a better paying job. Funny enough I don't drink coffee any more, but I had a real love for it back in the day! My favorite drink was one called a Bravo and it was espresso with steamed half and half, mmmmm. Now I want one!
Month/Cycle: 28 / 23 (ETA - well it seems 26 is my fave number and I have been stuck on it all month. It is really the 28th month)

WAYDTGKU: Basically just HIO hopefully EOD at this point. Apparently the ED streak we were on is over.
R/R/CS: Meh. After yesterdays melt down after posting in here(at work might I add), I did a lot of thinking. Went home and talked to DH about it and hopefully will come up with a good plan to get us out of a hole and in a comfortable place TTC. The culprit to everything is our health insurance. It takes pretty much half of my monthly income. So I think we are going to have to cancel it. Which would also means no more RE until I can get a job that pays more. Also, my temp is still creeping right on down. Really? CD 21? Thanks body for proving yet again you are unpredictable! And DH fell asleep on me last night. Which is why I said HIO EOD day now...apparently.
On the up side, it is Friday Eve and I get to leave work early tomorrow. Not for any grand fun reason, just doing crappy adult stuffs. But hey I wont be at work. Woop Woop!!! C'mooooonnnnn weekend!!!
GTKY: What was your first job? Did you enjoy it? I did laundry at a hotel. It was alright. Worked with some awesome people. But it was hot. I enjoyed it 50/50
@GrabberBlue2010 I'm so glad you guys were able to work out a plan that is best for you. Hugs!

WAYDTGKU: nothing at the moment, just hating AF.
R/R/CS: Funny story to start your Thursday: my dog got into my yarn basket this morning (a major no-no). I scolded him and put it back, and he continued to play with his toys for a while. The basket is kind of wedged in the corner and between my chair and the wall. So just a few minutes ago, I was looking for him and found him back in the corner going through the basket again. When I scolded him and told him to come to me, he couldn't figure out how to get himself out of the corner!! He just sat there and looked at me over his shoulder like "what do I do now?!" Lol. Probably a had-to-be-there moment, but I'm totally cracking up!
GTKY: What was your first job? Did you enjoy it? I helped cater with a small family-run BBQ place. It was okay.

WAYDTGKU: Clomid + Ovidrel, Metformin, HIO
R/R/CS: Last day of Clomid! Not much else to report, really. Just anxious for my RE appt. on Monday - he'll tell me when to take the Ovidrel shot. Meanwhile, I've been trying to avoid eye contact with all of the pregnant women in my office.
GTKY: What was your first job? Did you enjoy it? I worked at Panera and hated it!
WAYDTGKU: Enjoying my first cup of raspberry leaf tea (with honey, thanks @TheJerilu ). Beyond that, nothing. My uterus hates me today and I'm feeling the wrath.
R/R/CS: Feeling better today than yesterday. I'm trying to start the day telling myself that I'm going to actually focus on work. We'll see how that goes... My goal today is to just manage the pain of AF and not die. As long as that happens, it's a win.
GTKY: What was your first job? Did you enjoy it? HA! first job was my first semester in college. I was a hostess at an on campus 24 hour diner. it SUCKED! I left after 2 months and worked at the campus bookstore for the next 2 years. That was a pretty good gig. Got to meet a lot of the incoming football players

R/R/CS: Not much today... Other than I woke up 25 mins late to DH's alarm bc mine was on silent for some reason. And then I thought it was Friday, but unfortunately, it's only Thursday. My only saving grace for my mood is that I'm one day closer to my RE appt! Haha
GTKY: I was a carhop (it's a waitress at a restaurant where people pull up in their cars and the trays hook on their window). I loved it! I miss waitressing and eating all the free food.
@Schumerator omg i know the feeling of wishing the day away just to see what the next day's temps do. That's definitely a drawback of temping that i noticed. And then i'd get so excited to temp when i went to bed at night that i wouldn't sleep well. Counterproductive.
@GrabberBlue2010 more *hugs*. I'm glad you got to talk with DH about things, but the situation still sounds like it sucks. I'm sorry But yay for half a day tomorrow!! (Also, that Ross gif is cracking me up. I super love Friends)

@schumerator My problem is that I can't sleep because I get excited to see what my temp is going to be right around O...and then I worry because my sleep may throw off my temp! Who knew a thermometer could cause so much stress. @grabberblue2010 Sorry about your health insurance problems. :-( It really sucks that this all has to cost so much. EOD timing is still really good! @mokay19 I totally thought it was Friday today, too!

GTKY: What was your first job? Did you enjoy it? When I was 16, I worked as a janitorial assistant for our local school district (summer cleaning/maintenance) and it was absolutely miserable with no air conditioning. However, I thought I was making bank at $7/hour.
R/R/CS: felt different this cycle... had avoided buying wondfos "because maybe I won't need them next cycle!!" but going to order today. Blah. Going to start researching fertility boosting remedies.
GTKY: What was your first job? Did you enjoy it? Worked at a daycare!! It was fine but I still can't handle the smell of apple juice anymore.

R/R/CS: Still no signs of O, but I'm still hoping it's soon. My crazy mind goes from "its day 18, you should have ovulated by now" to "you'll never ovulate again!" In about 3 seconds flat, so just trying to fight that voice in my head.
GTKY: What was your first job? Did you enjoy it? Besides babysitting, my first job was working in a toy store in high school. I loved it! We got to ride razor scooters around and play games
R/R/CS: I had positive OPKs on CD15 and CD16 but no temp rise today. So still HIO and waiting on O. Hurry it up O!!
GTKY: What was your first job? Did you enjoy it?
If babysitting counts, then I loved my first job. If it's doesn't, the no. I worked at a library when I was 15 with one of my best friends. Our boss thought if we were talking then we weren't working. She literally expected silence from everyone. She also called the refrigerator the "refidge" and that annoyed me.

R/R/CS: Cycle day 28 and no confirmed O. I'm annoyed because I thought I potentially O'ed on CD20, had rising temps for 5 days but still no CH's. Only time will tell I suppose.
On a somewhat unrelated note, I had a dream about TB last night..... I got flamed really hard by one user who said I wasn't funny because I'm constantly talking about getting hurt. (Re: my posts in 2 lies & a truth, & 10 things Tuesday). I was trying to apologize and say I'm not trying to be funny, I'm just really clumsy but I was losing the battle. I spend way too much time on here lol
GTKY: What was your first job? I worked for Things Remembered. I LOVED it. It was hardcore when it was wedding season because everybody wanted products done in 20 minutes or less but my boss was seriously amazing and taught me so much. I love that woman.
R/R/CS: Still have not gotten a Positive on the Digital OPK so of course my mind is freaking out thinking its not going to happen at all, trying to remain positive about it and thinking perhaps I just missed the LH surge or something..idk ha. I'm almost out of sticks, and I'm going camping this weekend (leaving tonight so today is my friday yay!) So this will be fun trying to do the OPK while sharing the camper with my mother and sisters haha. oh well.
GTKY: What was your first job? Did you enjoy it? My first Job was getting up at the ass crack of dawn..i would walk down town to a little house get in a golf cart that had water tanks on it..and drive around town watering the flowers hanging by the streat lamps down town....I hated it. GTKY: What was your first job? Did you enjoy it? Aside from babysitting my first job was working at Michael's Arts and Crafts. It was fine, but I ended up quitting because Target paid more.
@GrabberBlue2010 - I'm sorry that insurance has been causing you so much stress. The healthcare system sucks.

R/R/CS: Finally got an OPK today that I would consider positive. It was still slightly lighter than the control line, but it was soooo close that I'm counting it. So I guess I'm O-ing later this cycle than usual, but at least I know something is happening.
GTKY: What was your first job? Did you enjoy it? I worked at a small video store. It was great. I loved the people I worked with, and I got to rent free movies.
@GrabberBlue2010 health insurance can suck a big one in my opinion. When I saw last year how much was taken out of my husbands salary, I almost shit myself! And to have a deductible on top of that amount? And the fact that top CEO's of health care companies are multi millionaires? Don't get me started, I get tooooo fired up
@jatwal128 and @felix08 yes to being anxious about the temp and not being able to sleep! I ended up having to set my temp time earlier because I've been waking up way too far ahead of my regular temp time.
@EALasagna45 cracking up at your bump dream! I had one of those when I lurked back in the day and I was like wow... TB has infiltrated my sleep too!
@canokr01 that does sound awful for a 16/17 year old but I feel like I would love it now! Sounds like a peaceful way to spend your morning lol
Random Question:
For those of you that use the "digital OPK", what brand is that and where did you buy it? When I googled them the other day the only ones I found were like $200+! All the kudos to you if you spend that much but I was like daaaang I can't justify that lol
@Schumerator I use the clear blue digital advanced, since the blinkie smiley is supposed to help you see more like at least 4 days of FW vs. like 2 if it only gives you peak? I get the 20-packs on Amazon, I want to say under $40 for 20 units or 2-3 cycles. I can't remember how much I paid, but not $200!!! (I think maybe you're looking at fertility monitors, which I believe is a different animal all together... but idunno)
@Schumerator I've seen some of them on Amazon around that price point (my friend is using one, but she's had a lot of trouble trying to get pregnant and was spending a ton on the digital tests like the ClearBlue kind, which is what I assume you are NOT talking about). I don't think I've seen one less than about $200ish.
@Dilynne I bet I was a worse waitress! I was afraid to even talk to people! @linzrunz My boss used to be a psycho and banned talking and laughing at work! Who does that?!

@Schumerator Yes I think now I would like it better if it was the only thing I had to do all day! ha! It was really peaceful at times. For Digital OPKS I have the First Response one.. It will say Yes/ or No and if you get a Yes the test shuts off permanently. It came with about 20 sticks to go inside the reader..It was like 40 dollars I think? @bussinesswife@canokr01@krys ahhh thank you for the clarification! I was like what in the world there is no way that many people pay that much money for this ha! Ok perfect I will look those up my O date has been shifting a little these past few cycles and itd be nice to have a heads up instead of constantly wondering!
@Schumerator On the Clearblue Advanced Digital ones - the cheapest I've found them is at Target. $39.99 vs the $55-60 at CVS/Walgreens/drugstore. Amazon runs around $45, but they always seem to be out of stock and delayed prime shipping #protip
That said, I've had shit luck with them and I've given up. Both cycles mine gave me high readings for like 8 or 9 days straight with no peak reading despite having ovulated. I seem to be outside of the norm though, so take it for what you will!
@Schumerator just FYI, I just used the CBAD ($40 ones) and it did NOT give me any sort of heads up or help with a bigger window....it was low low low, then it malfunctioned, then I got peak...so no high readings. Everyone has a different expereince, but I would back it up with Wondfo's just in case!

WAYDTGKU: I think AF is gone. Spotting if anything.
R/R/CS: My husband let the car thing go, I think. I started crying when he came home from work as I attempted to say I don't believe it is the right move for our family. Hopefully that's the end of possibly paying 500 a month for a 6 yr old car.
I have baby fever again. Where I don't think about anything that could be made more difficult by having a baby. My good friend just had her baby and I'm dying to go visit her. Can't keep still, it's like an itch. And my other friend just posted the CUTEST pic of her new baby girl with a giant bow on her head. Beautiful perfect angel face. My uterus was going crazy. @Schumerator I use the Clear Blue Digital. It is the one @BusinessWife referred to that just gives you a smiley on your 2 peak days. I bought it on amazon. I know some people use the Wondfos which gives you a variation of darkness of lines as an indication. Personally, I like that the smiley takes any guessing out of it. But, the CBD can get pricey to refill. @PepperAT Yayy for CH!! Good luck! @mokay19 Such a cool job!! Did you also have to wear roller skates? I've been to a few of those. R/R/CS: I had an allergy appt this morning with an NP and told her we were TTC. She said "I know this is stressful, believe me I do, but try and enjoy this part of it. I have a five month old at home, our first, and I put so much pressure on myself when trying. Just try and enjoy it." I wanted to cry. It was exactly what I needed to hear. We haven't told anyone we are trying because we didn't want the pressure but it also makes it hard not being able to talk to someone. Until I found you all that is. So, I am trying to enjoy this today.
GTKY: What was your first job? Did you enjoy it? I worked at a bakery with my best friend. I pretty much had the best boss ever with an "all you can eat" cookie policy as a perk of the job. He went to culinary school and if you worked a double or early on the weekends had made you lunch or breakfast. He also gave the best advice which when you have teenage angst and hate your parents is really helpful! My sister and cousin also worked there eventually so it was like a little bakery family. It was the most wonderful place to work!

I spent most of the time working in the cosmetics section and would occasionally work the front register when we were short staffed. I worked there with a few of my friends from high school and really enjoyed it. I am actually still friends with a few of my former co-workers. I only ended up quitting half way through my senior year of high school because we got a new manager who I couldn't stand.

So getting it back at 30 I am like... well hot damn Gina, WTF did I want to be an adult so bad?! @Saralee797 - Having a plan that you BOTH can totally agree on is amazing. Anyway, we only stay in touch via FB these days, and I've known that his (I think even younger than me) wife was pregnant with their second baby and was due anytime now. I've been waiting for the announcement with a level of dread. It came last night.
She's beautiful, and everything is good. And contrary to my expectations, I'm feeling fine about my 51 year old ex having his second kid when I just had a CP. Life is really effing weird. Or I am.
CD:21

R/R/CS: I don't have much to say today. I'm on day 6 of moderately heavy bleeding and it's really annoying. GO AWAY AF, I HATE YOU.
GTKY: What was your first job? Did you enjoy it? I was a barista! I loved it!
Month/Cycle: 11/10
CD: 2

On a somewhat unrelated note, I had a dream about TB last night..... I got flamed really hard by one user who said I wasn't funny because I'm constantly talking about getting hurt. So this will be fun trying to do the OPK while sharing the camper with my mother and sisters haha. oh well.

@PepperAT Hooray for crosshairs!
Or I am.
GTKY: Funny that this is the question today. That job is where I met the ex. I worked at a local record store chain and it was so much fun!
