I didn't have to buy any new bras last time (my boobs didn't really grow, to be fair), but I got some of those bra extender things and they did the trick!
So did you not get what I call "granny boobs" after my first was born my boobs got so flat and boring I started calling them granny boobs. That's what I call them all the time. But currently being so inflated I've been calling them "juicy" lol I was pretty bummed about granny boobs at age 20.

@SPurp13 Forgot about the bra extender thingies!!!! Note to self, find bra extender thingies!
*my bras got stretched out and I couldn't wear them after I got back to near prepregnancy size. So just a word of caution that if you use them with your favorite bras they may not recover. Full disclosure: I gained over 50 pounds with baby 1 So this may or may not apply to you. Oh and please don't judge...

No judging. I gained 75 with DD1. It took 2 years to get back to under my PP weight. Never. Again.

Nope. My boobs are roughly the same. Small but perky. I only breastfeed for 3 weeks before giving up, though. That may have something to do with it.

I lost weight rapidly until around week 8 or 9...then it piled on. I stopped looking at 20 pounds halfway through. So far, I'm following the same pattern...I hope I don't get huge again. I just got back to My lowest weight a few months ago.

@kswiger06 #returnofthejuicyboobies. I am totally loving this aspect of pregnancy!
@SPurp13 At least you are starting from a good place! And you don't have granny boobs!
ugh! I can't even deal - still not back at prepregnancy weight. Nurse your baby they all said. Nurse! Nurse! Nurse! The pounds will melt right off! Snort! Lies!
I need to go make a plan and join the exercise thread and is there a healthy recipes and snack ideas thread for some support and accountability? The what we are eating now thread is full of double fudge Oreos and ketchup chips!
At least I had 36 years of healthy eating and an active lifestyle - just need to adjust to mommyhood and get back on track! Have no idea how that's going to work with a new pregnancy. I think I'm scared. Kudos to you ladies balancing it all!
I'm a 32E not pregnant and was like a 32H when nursing. I just wore bralettes and soft nursing bras all the time because underwire gave me clogged ducts. Like for 18 months.
I've already gone up a full cup size and I'm only 6weeks
Also - just remembered I ordered a couple dresses from Pink Blush maternity online. They were ok - kind of cheapy but got the job done. Cute prints.
Adding Pink Blush to the list. When you say they were kind of cheap, do you mean synthetic blends? Do they use cotton or other natural fabrics?
I'll have to check some of my stuff upstairs. I think mostly cotton but don't quote me on that just yet. I'll take a look today. I mean, their stuff was super cute and affordable but the material was just thin and not made to last forever. I got a few cute dresses for some events from them.
@scifichick09 that's my plan too. I figure there might still be some wintery stuff on super clearance and I can start collecting stuff early. I really want to check it out but am waiting until we've at least told our parents and best friends. We always seem to run into someone we know out shopping in our town, like I've randomly run into my mom shopping twice in the last month. That would be a little suspicious if she caught me shopping maternity racks, lol.
RE: Pink Blush - I just went back to their website. They have a 70% off sale going on with some super cute stuff.
Okay - the prints are super cute- I love the modern hippie vacation kaftan styles - will need to do some shopping once nursling releases me tonight. My summer dresses are all stretched out from last year's beluga phase.

Hello, friend. 34G not pregnant, wore a 36J when nursing my last one. OY. I haven't seen an increase in size yet, but fully expect it in the next two weeks or so. Oh, my back.

Representing 30GG here in the giant boob club. This is my first pregnancy, so I have no idea what to expect. But I haven't even hit the 5 week mark, and already none of my bras fit.
Major success in the clearance bra racks at kohls! I'm normally a 32D and my regular bras have gotten too small in the cups but also feeling super tight around the back, and I had them on the largest hook so I went to a 34D which also increased the cup quite a bit. I found 2 of the same style in different colors that are comortable on the smallest hooks and the cups have some stretch to them so I have room to grow. The best part is they were $6 each!
@peachesnbean Sorry if you've already answered this (I skimmed through) -- my sister's having a LLR party this week. Do they add up to the hype? I saw that they are O/S, so I'm thinking of stocking up -- will they stretch over a pregnant belly comfortably?

I've had weight issues all my life and had just got a FitBit in my latest attempt to be healthier when I got pregnant. My boobs were 40DDD before and they can still fit okay in my bras (if only for the fact they weren't the same size and I'm so used to squishing the girls in). My exercise bra is so tight. I've tried Target, Walmart, and Kohls for a new one but have been unsuccessful.

I've been wondering the same thing!
Yes!! (Consultant) The leggings are the most comfortable I've ever worn and they will stretch so your size will last the entire pregnancy. Also, the clothing is really forgiving which will allow you to wear during multiple trimesters.

I had my DD last year in May so I had a nice long winter maternity time. When you get so hot and large near the end of the pregnancy it's awesome to have cold weather happening! I bought some adorable clothes at Gap online when they had their 40% off sales, which happen a lot (online has the maternity goldmine- stores had nada). I got leggings, tank tops, jeans, and amazing sweaters from them. For jeans, Liz Lange maternity jeans at Target looked and fit awesome for me and a good trick is that the Target plus size shirts usually work really well for maternity (and they offer so many cute styles these days in their plus sized sections!). Dresses, tank tops and yoga pants I got at Old Navy- they can't be beat for good pricing. I lived in leggings, jeans, maxi skirts and sweaters when I was pregnant. I highly recommend getting 2-3 beautiful, long, soft sweaters and using them over jeans or leggings with boots. I found navy and burgundy ones at Gap that I loved and some grey and black ones at old navy that were adorable. For lounging at home, there are these awesome boyfriend sweatpants at Victoria's Secret that are pricey but so comfy (they go on sale every so often, that's when I stock up) and the "tami" (i.e. tank-cami) tank tops at Old Navy and the Target long and lean tank tops are the absolute best. I bought an inexpensive old navy faux fur puffer jacket and XXL men's fleece sweatshirt for really good prices and only really needed those for the winter. Don't overbuy- layering works so well. I just became addicted to LLR leggings and Irmas so I'm reeeeeally excited to use them this winter preggo! Some other things to think about- comfy shoes (I lived in supportive, black flats a size bigger than my usual size, and supportive Reef flip flops), underwear (I found some maternity ones at Gap that I liked), and bras (I'm still searching for good ones as I'm pretty big boobed at bigger than DD pregnant so please share if you've found some- I got some at motherhood maternity and Target that worked ok). FYI the best bra trick I found was getting the Champion sports bras at Target- they were the only thing that took the sore, engorged boob pain away with their support and I lived in them a lot.
I wear smaller sizes in maternity clothes than I do in regular clothes (so like med/large tops but in maternity I need small) so I am waiting until I need anything to purchase. Last cold weather go around the only thing I needed for winter was shirts. I plan on wearing maxi dresses, leggings, yoga pants, and long skirts. Motherhood didn't sell the size I needed in a bra so I work sports bras at the end of my pregnancies which worked out well for post partum.
So I am a 36D, I just bought sports bra 36DD at sports authority, since it was going out of business I took advantage of their sales also bought size bigger workout and yogapants. Love some good deals.

Maternity leggings are ridiculously comfortable and pretty much esstential. Heck, after baby #4, I may never go back to jeans!
Walmart has decently comfortable and durable maternity & nursing tank tops for cheap.
My favorite maternity jeans came from Zulilly. Rolled the dice (and actually paid shipping, which I never do), and it paid off!
