Anyone else what to talk about the weird dreams they are having?

Last night I dreamed that George Clooney and I got into a fight on Twitter about breakfast cereal. Appearently he is very sensitive about the subject. I can't remember what cereal he cared so much about but I was staunchly pro-Cap'n Crunch.

This makes two dreams where I have been antagonistic towards a celebrity about food lol. I have no clue what my subconscious is thinking.

Ha!! I had one weird dream that I was in the car with my mom and she ran a red light and we got in an accident...super bizarre, she is major safe driver lol

@ceclarlinetlo that is hilarious! I've yet to have any strange dreams yet but I remember having a ton of them when I was pregnant with my daughter so I know they are coming. I need to remember to write
tnem down this time.

I've always had super vivid dreams my entire life and will have anywhere from 2 to 4 a night but, and I have no idea why, for weeks 5-7 pregnant I suddenly had no dreams at all.

Then a couple of nights ago though I dreamt that a former coworker of mine went on Family Feud with his entire family and that they had coordinated a dance for when they won. This is someone I haven't seen or talked to in over 2 years. And the dance was super elaborate and involved "churning the butter" (or whatever that dance move is called).

And the weird part was that it was just a pre-runner to a larger unrelated dream in which an ex of mine wrote an iOS app that was a game that he would try to trick all these various girls he formerly slept with (including myself) into playing as a way of establishing a harem of concubines. The game was Game of Thrones based but had a bunch of subliminal messages that would flash on the screen for a microsecond saying things like "Sleep with Chris." And I noticed it and laughed at him and was like, "You have got to be kidding me if you think I'm stupid enough to fall for this crap." And he got all angry with me and was like, "Sounds exactly like something Cersei Lannister would say" and I woke up laughing.

I had a dream last night that a friend and I got into an argument because he didn't believe that I have carpet in my childhood closet at my mom's house. So I took him there to see it and he tried to tell me that it technically wasn't carpet because it had too many layers. But we made up and he did me a favor by taking a fish outside for me (after I found it in my wallet).

I had one dream that our kids figured out I'm pregnant about it and starting hinting around so we would tell them.
Another that we had a work meeting at my house and a coworker figured it out because I WAS DROOLING. :sigh:
And one more about labor where my midwife was trying to get me to stop pushing for a second so I wouldn't tear.

I definitely have babies on the brain.

The day before I got my BFP I had a dream that my husband left me for a hot coworker and that he killed her in a street race cause we were racing since I was mad. I then went and taunted him in jail and my best friend said she didn't wanna be friends any more. It was so wild. I called him wh My husband doesn't even work with women! Iv been having pretty vivid crazy dreams lately.

I have been having weird dreams as well. The other night I dreamed my friend, who is due in August, made this really elaborate decoration on the walls of her baby's room. I came over to help her remove all the ribbon that she hung in front of it to help with the design. There were thousands and thousands of strings of ribbon pinned to the wall in all different colors and sizes. It was so weird.

Usually my dreams include at least one family member or friend, but last night I had the weirdest dream! I was myself (in a super sexy, tomb raider, kind of way) and I was with a husband/wife team of vampires, and a few other random characters. I was being pursued by a set of criminals for some reason (I think I was preggers and they wanted my baby because it was heir to a fortune, or something similar). There was running, dancing, sexy times, jumping from trains, etc. And I woke up with a song from the dream stuck in my head. Not an actual song, just one I made up in the dream I think. It's gone now, but so far that's the weirdest dream I've had.

Have I mentioned that my pregnancy dreams are also very detailed?

@LoneStar21416 no weird dreams yet this pregnancy but I still get upset about I dream I had at 12 weeks with my last pregnancy. Basically I dreamed that I went into labor at 15 weeks and my doctor was all *shrug* about it and I cried in real life for days any time I thought about it.

I wish mine were funny, they have been mostly vivid nightmares or messed up situations that jolt me awake. I remember having vivid dreams last time but not like this!

Last night I dreamed I was making smoothies and I got two small (like 6 inches tall) wooden rocking chairs that I blended up in the smoothie.

@cjs260 I am having similar issues!! Though not really about specific people. Just... sensations. And it drives me nuts because my husband is SOOO not a morning sex person, and they are invariably the last dream I have that wakes me up. Infuriating.

I had my first pregnancy related dream last night! My two cousins who I'm close to were also pregnant in my dream (they aren't really). We were planning a joint baby shower for the three of us and could not agree on a theme. There was a lot more to it, but I forgot as soon as I got out of bed.

I can't remember any of my dreams at the moment but most mornings I wake up thinking wtf was that....the last couple of nights however I've been having trouble falling asleep, thinking someone is standing over me...yet everytime I check there obviously isn't anyone there. Hopefully this stops soon as I'm ridiculously tired (and grumpy-I feel bad
for my 2 1/2 year old) hubby is currently in school 3 hours away so sleeping alone is probably what's causing these fears...3 more weeks and he's done tho!

Ugh - did not enjoy my dream last night. In the dream I went for an ultrasound without DH and they had a new machine with a new feature that could predict what your baby would look like with its adult teeth - and they used it without asking if I wanted to and Cletus the fetus looked really creepy.

I had a dream that I was fighting this old lady over a dresser (that I was going to use as a changing table) in Anthropologie. She was dragging me around the store by my hair while I acted super nonchalant about it. I think the silliest part of the dream was that the Anthropologie dresser only cost $303.

I haven't had any dreams yet but with my daughter I had a dream where I was at work and was hungry so I grabbed the hole puncher on my desk and opened it up so all the paper dots that get punched out were in a pile. Then I started eating them. YES.. I ate all of the paper dots in my dream lol. Still one of the weirdest dreams I've ever had and I'm completely thrown off as to why I was craving the taste of paper

I know I have been having a lot of crazy dreams - I just can't remember most of them. One I do remember is that I was potty training a (or several?) little kids and woke up in the middle of it nearly peeing my pants! Thank goodness I woke up. haha

Okay the really crazy dreams have officially started. I had one last night that I was at some sort of resort with a bunch of celebrities and Donald Trump showed up and did a mass-shooting, mostly focusing on the celebrities there. Before he'd shoot each person, he had a quippy thing to say about each one that didn't really make any sense. Like the first person he shot was Will Smith. He gets Will Smith in his cross-hairs from a really far distance, and then says, "Will Smith, you're the next contestant on the Price is Right!" and shoots. And this went on for about... I dunno... 15 more people?

@ceclarlinetlo That IS creepy. The real question is, did they show you what it would look like with adult teeth as a fetus or predicted as an adult? Because the former must have been terrifying.

I think my weird dreams started last night. My husband and I were hanging out and suddenly this timer started and it had 6 hours on it, which meant that the world had 6 hours left and then something crazy would happen, but we weren't sure what. H was so nonchalant about it, and I was completely freaking out. And then our realtor showed up and wanted to go swimming in the lake and I couldn't figure out why nobody cared that we may only have 6 hours to live.

I have to resurrect this to say, I have been having SUPER vivid dreams lately. And mine are stressful. It is so annoying! They keep me "up" all night. (AKA I toss and turn a lot). So frustrating!

I had a dream last night that i had my baby 3 months overdue (yikes!) and realized i didn't have anything i needed so i went to the store and bought a baby bouncer and some diapers. I had to decide bwtween a bouncer and a car seat. Obviously a bouncer is much more important in dream land. The baby was crying all night and i called my mom for help. She asked me if i changed his diaper. I had forgotten all about it and didnt change it the whole day.
It was so vivid. I take it as me just being scared of everything.

Last night I don't know what I was dreaming about but something startled me awake and when I popped my eyes open I swear there was a tall dark figure standing beside my bed, I was literally frozen with fear...like friggen petrified....sort of watched it float/walk away and when the coast was clear I shot up turned the light on and thought I was dying. Had to stare at my monitor for 10 minutes waiting to see if anything went into my girls room. Realized nothing could possibly be in my room I calmed down a bit (we have a child proof door knob on the outside of our room, plus it's a bloody mess right now, basically an obstacle course to get to my side of the bed) and also my dog didn't move at all so I'm thinking I was dreaming something funny but shit was it scary.....laying in bed right now kind of scared to sleep tonight. Home alone with the dog....I put the laundry basket in front of the door as a blocker....hopefully I don't have to pee in the night

I used to have really bad nightmares in college and haven't had any in a while, but all of a sudden I'm having creepy dreams. Last night it was like the world ended and we were on a cruise ship and my dh acted like everything was fine and bought me a weird anniversary present and I forgot his but then this whole gang of guys was trying to take over our room BC there were too many ppl on the ship and some ppl kept coming during the night. Idk, can't remember all of it.

Then I dreamed my parents were in the car with me and dh and dd. Dh was driving us to the beach joking around and trying to itch his lips BC they were super chapped. Then he went to pass someone and pulled out right in front of a car flying down the highway so he swerved into a bunch of trees and made it through but there was a house right after them that we slammed into and me and dd died.

I also recently dreamed that we were out and the police were looking for a criminal who they were going to shoot and for some reason thought it was dd (who isn't even one yet) and so they did and then my husband and I were freaking out and they just said oh whoops wrong person..

I had a sexy dream about husband last night - we were all flirty and he came over to kiss me and as soon as he did, I realized we were in a giant room full of people totally naked. I don't know when we got naked or why I didn't realize all the people until after we were naked, but I woke up thoroughly confused. Maybe my subconscious is already worried about what adding another little person (crowd?) to our life is going to do our romance...

I had my first pregnancy related dream the night before my first appointment.
I went into the clinic and there were stalls filled with women giving birth. It was this huge place and almost like a maze. (I had never actually been to my clinic before this dream) The women were all super exposed and noisy and I was walking around my husband trying to figure out where we were supposed to go and no one would help us. Then I forget what happened. But at the end we were leaving and I found a passport in the parking lot and I was super worried about finding the owner.

Pretty weird.

I have had a couple really vivid, crazy ones. The first was before I even got my bfp... I work in a computer repair place and we have two kinds of employees... those that talk to clients and "check in" computers, and those who fix them. In my dream the client-facing employee didn't know if we could fix a specific computer and had an epic rap battle with one of the computer techs to figure it out. This was like three weeks ago and I still remember some of the lyrics and the beat...

The other had to do with my best friend from college. We were graduating together and went on a trip with a bunch of classmates to this giant hydroelectric dam thing... we all stood around the top to watch the water fall through the "gears" in the middle and feel the spray from the giant whirlpool it created. There had been a tradition in classes before ours where "really brave" graduates would jump in the water and climb back out for extra luck finding a great career. I was yelling how stupid that was to my best friend and then suddenly she jumped in. But there was a big drought that year so the water level wasn't high enough for her to reach the ladder... then she got swept away by the current and dragged down this giant whirlpool... I panicked and looked over the other side where much further down the water was emptied... and it was red. Ughhhh.

I've been eating pretty healthy, but I've been craving any kind of dessert that has a glaze on top. I have yet to fulfill that craving, but last night I did in my dream! I was in a place that was filled with a variety of glazed baked goods. Lemon pound cakes, chocolate donuts, chocolate cakes, blueberry muffins, carrot cakes....all of it, and all of it glazed, and all of it free and unlimited. In my dream I knew I could eat as much as I wanted without it effecting my weight or health, so I just ate. Mostly I just ate the top layer, the part with the glaze where it soaked in a bit. Oh man. It was heaven. It was cool dreaming about it, because it actually lessened the craving. It's like it's been fulfilled.

Last night I had a dream that DH was having sex with another woman at our friend's house while we were taking a break, but not supposed to be seeing other people. I yanked the girl off, threw her in the pool, and made DH scrub every inch of his body red (all of this with a gun).

I woke up and I'm still mad at him, irrational as it is.
