Is is anyone else extremely angered by this ad being RIGHT in the center of our thread?!? Ugghhgghh come on, bump!!
Ha! Maybe they heard that I was eating crap and thought I needed a detox
@bkjade The sleep deprivation and stress of new parenthood is totally my pitfall when it comes to healthy eating. Usually I just try not to buy junk food because when a craving hits, my desire to not go shopping with my infant and toddler is stronger than my craving, but today we walked by the corner store on the way home from the park and I just went for it!
Right now: Enjoying watching DD flip through her favorite book, Put Me In the Zoo. She has 4 copies of this book and and she "reads" each one as if they are different books Meanwhile in boob land..
Alex had the worst night ever and is fussy today. Until I put him like this. Now I can't nap myself and not able to move but at least he's down for a while
@NinnyJean - that is totally what happens at my house almost every time I try to leave. I put Jet down, she starts crying. Dog comes over to Jet, licks her feet to try and console her, she cries more, he howls. Good times!
@Jenly17 - yeah, it's a beautiful vintage Peg Perego carriage that was DH's best friend's stroller when he was little. His kids outgrew it and he gifted it to us. It's a tank though!
Finallllllly 6 weeks pp getting a pedicure ... A much needed one at that. My feet were a hot mess and toenails snagged and overgrown. I even opted for the expensive one because damn it I am worth it!! It's also nice to have a little me time away from DS (even tho I kinda miss him and wonder what he and DH are doing)
LO's napping, DH is napping (he's realizing how exhausting MOTN is after volunteering to do it all weekend), so that means this mama is relaxing with coffee and watching 16 and pregnant
DD1 reading to DD2. DD1 has to read books for the library reading program and school, plus the baby needs to be read to. Killing two birds wth one stone.
Hi from up the river @LadySamLady! We are on the Williamsburg waterfront with the same view! Eating ice cream because I needed a reason to get out of the house today. Feeling a little bit stir crazy lately.

**Stuck in a box**
hiiiiiii!! Ooooh I'm craving Mister Softee now, might have to head to BK Bridge park for some tonight!
This little guy has been a terror today. Crying + cluster feeding and/or comfort nursing + will only sleep while being held (and he normally is easily put down while sleeping). Bright side: a friend is on her way over with dinner.
@LadySamLady - I feel like crud today so thank you for saying I look put together.
My lifesavers lately have been tinted lip balm and hats. Don't have time for makeup=hat! And the tinted lip balm makes me look less dead. 3 weeks in and this not sleeping normally business is starting to take a toll.
Making granola with this small monster that lives in my house because for some reason when all else fails, baking with him is almost always a positive experience.
I just walked by Stonewall on my way home. I didn't take a picture there because I couldn't hold it together and there were so many people standing on the sidewalks. This is outside of a church on Hudson Street. I'm not surprised, but nearly every business in my neighborhood has a flag outside this week. Not to get all heavy, but love is love.
Grocery shopping online while Munchkin naps on my chest. She has refused to nap all day and was seriously overtired. This is the only way she'll stay asleep.

Both kids asleep at the same time. Dumb luck but I'll take it!
Snuggling outside before we drive back home.

Watching bridesmaids and trying to get my guy to take a nap!
