WAYD: waiting for CH while we continue to HIO!!! C'mon, FF. Temps are doing this awesome slow rise thing, so hoping to get a good confirmed O before my Monday intro Creighton session and start my 100mg P at bedtime on 3dpo, which is looking like maybe Monday night? **or Sunday?** Will help to get my O-day right then!
RRCS: See above. NBR Rave = my puppy got a certificate for completing his great starts puppy class!!!! :D A CERTIFICATE!!!:dizzy:
GTKY: I am a sausage and fancy eggs kind of girl, but French toast does it for me, too, w strawberries
R/R/CS: Today's cheer: Another month of saving money!
GTKY: BACON!!! And a good corned beef hash. Not the slop kind. It's hard to find. Also one place around here used to have huge huckleberry pancakes that were soooo good.
Me: 34 DH: 38 Married: June 2011 TTC since Feb 2016 BFP#1: 7/7/16 MMC: 8/16/16 BFP#2: 5/8/17 - CP BFP#3: 6/27/17 EDD: 3/10/18
R/R/CS: OPK was negative this morning and FF gave me dotted CH so I'm keeping my FX that I O'd yesterday. If so then our timing was meh, only -3 and O, but we'll see what happens. Also, I know I probably shouldn't have, but I took my temp this morning and it jumped up to 98.11 degrees. When I was (attempting) temping the first two weeks of this cycle, I was running in the 97.1-97.5 range. I know it's an unreliable temp since I haven't been consistent, but it still give me hope of possibly confirming O. I'll hang around here for the next two days before moving over to TWW.
GTKY: I'm not a huge breakfast person, but I love corned beef hash and have become addicted to omelettes lately (but only if they're loaded with cheese, tomatoes, spinach, and mushrooms). I have to say that my absolute favorite, however, is cheesy grits, despite being a Yankee!
@francesgrace Friday night and Saturday morning workouts are always the biggest accomplishments, in my opinion! You go, girl! @businesswife Congrats to your pup!! @kiki75 mmm I love corned beef hash. Even the canned kind (gross, I know). @scarlett830 FX for confirmed O!

WAYDTGKU: temping and trying to time lots of sex around O buuuut see below
R/R/CS: Holy crud, you guys, I think I O'd yesterday which would be really early for me. My temp went up this morning to a typical 1DPO temp, though, and I had sticky CM yesterday after some EWCM the day before. Fortunately, we did get -1 and -3 timing, but I was really hoping to get some more in there. I know, I know, you're regular 'til you're not, but a little consistency would be nice! We'll see what happens with my temps the next couple days. I do have one issue though, because my college friends are coming to town for a bridal shower and hanging out with them pretty much always means having drinks so my temp could be artificially high tomorrow unless I can practice enough self restraint tonight (ha, not likely).
GTKY: What is your favourite breakfast/brunch food? Oh, man. Good thing I already ate my healthy breakfast, because this question and your responses would make me super hungry. I pretty much love all brunch food--sweet, savory, whatever--I'll take it. One of my favorites is getting over medium eggs, crispy bacon, and pancakes and eating them all together. Mimosas are probably my true favorite.
R/R/CS: going to a little girl's birthday party today, outside, in 96 degree heat, with about 80% humidity. Someone kill me. But, DD wants to see her friends and see some chicks dressed up like Anna and Elsa. So, to the party we go. I want to brag on DH for a second though. Yesterday he told me that he had been doing a little bit of research on BBT charting and OPKs. It was just the sweetest thing. He was trying to see if there was a way he could take over tracking everything for a bit so I didn't need to stress out about it. What a man I have. For the longest time it seemed like I was the only one excited to start trying for #2. He was onboard, I guess. It just seemed like he was going along to make me happy. In my opinion, that is just no way to go into making a human. Even last cycle, our first month trying, I knew at that point he was being very supportive. But, I still wasn't even 100% sure he really wanted an actual baby. This month he has a TON of stress off he shoulders, so he is really getting involved. I can see now he really truly does want another baby and he is very into the whole scientific side of things, which I am too. ok, bragging over.
GTKY: What is your favourite breakfast/brunch food? ummm... all of them?! Seriously. It is the hardest thing for me to pick. Probably depending on where we are. One place by our old apartment had the best french toast in the history of the world. But, I enjoy a nice omelet at other places. Honestly, any breakfast food is my favorite. Definitely my mom makes the best pancakes though!

@felix08 OMG, Woman! Get that +1 timing! Like, NOW! lol But seriously, the Creighton training treats +1, +2, and +3 as all fertile days, perhaps due to whatever margin of error, time traveling down the tubes, I don't know, but I would say KEEP HIO!!!! :D
@mrstuesday That sounds like my kind of party!!! uhm... GL and hang in there. It is really sweet to see your DH taking that kind of interest, too :)
@FrancesGrace630 Your workout with your friend sounds great! I am also trying to get in a nice jog here before I get into my practicing... if DH would ever get out the door lol
@Scarlett830 I would say the same thing I said above, HIO! +1, +2, +3 it all increases your chances, even though I know the consensus around here seems to be that anything after +1 is a waste, I'm not so sure that's entirely true. A little more BD certainly can't hurt!!! ;)
**ETA @Kiki75 @felix08 I may also have to sign myself up for the corned beef hash-lovers club! but I haven't had it in, I can't even tell you how long...
oh! Snap! I totally forgot about biscuits and sausage gravy! It's not a thing where I live, so when I go down South I always have to get it at least once, preferably at the most local greasy-spoon type place we come across.
Question: Can someone please tell me why TB is hooked on this thing where it wants me to add a "disappointed" smiley face if I hit enter? It's really super annoying and it happened both on my own and on DH's laptops so I feel like it's got to be the site bugging out.
Been so busy at work these past two days, and DH was out of town so I was alone with the almost-1-year-old, and couldn't check in...I'm back though!
Cycle: 6 (NTNP)
CD: 19
WAYDTGKU: checking CM, sex whenever we feel like it
R / R / CS: I normally O somewhere between day 19 and 21 and my CM has been looking normal this cycle, so should be this weekend. Since I failed at temping this cycle I'll head to TWW when my CM dries up. I think I'll have a horse in the race this cycle, we had sex this morning, so that's kind of exciting. My test plan is to wait until day 35 and then POAS weekly until my period starts. I have yet to make it to day 35 since my cycles started back up because my LPs have been short (breastfeeding, yo).
GTKY: man I love breakfast food, I have it for dinner at least twice a week. If I was out to breakfast, I'd order a veggie and cheese omelet with a side of pancakes and potatoes and bacon and chocolate milk. At home I usually do a veggie and cheese scramble and a Belgian waffle (Belgian waffle maker: best wedding gift ever) and if I'm feeling extra motivated, bacon. I wish bacon wasn't such a pain in the ass to make because it is the best.
R/R/CS: Stupid BBT is broken I think it hasnt beeped to say it's done for about a week. And this morning it gave me a really high temp which is possibly because I woke up about an hour before my temp time but tried to go back to sleep. Still annoyed, it's only been a year I don't want to buy a new one!
GTKY: What is your favourite breakfast/brunch food?
ummm is it acceptable to say all the things? If I had to choose one overall it would definitely be biscuits and gravy although I always feel like I need a nap after eating it lol. Healthy wise it would be protein pancakes, they are so good! I couldn't even tell you the last time I had a regular pancake!
R/R/CS: Thanks everyone for indulging my CD1 pity party yesterday. I woke up in a much better space this morning (despite all the wine. Or maybe because of it!)
GTKY: I'm not a huge fan of breakfast foods, so I almost always just eat fruit with Greek yogurt for breakfast. Every once in a blue moon I'll start craving pancakes, but always end up eating them at dinner because making pancakes is waaaay too much work in the morning.
I'll try to come back later for comments, but I mobile bump on weekends and want to hulk smash things when my posts get eaten.
R/R/CS: It's super rainy and gloomy here so I guess it's good we didn't got camping. Still lying in bed waiting for H to wake up so we can start our day! Question: does anyone else's PNV make them feel queasy afterwards and is that normal? Mine say to take it with food and I generally try to as I'm running out the door in the morning, but yesterday I only had time to eat a banana and I felt really sick all morning.
GTKY: Oh man! Don't make me choose! I love all breakfast/ brunch goodies. I would never turn down a good ol Eggs Benedict or delicious French Toast. Great, now I'm hungry hahaha
@FrancesGrace630 I love starting my Saturday with a good workout! Makes me feel great the rest of the day also do you want to share your baked oatmeal recipe?! That sounds amazing!
@BusinessWife Awww congrats to your little pup! Mine is a year old and now and she is pretty good and sweet as can be but I really should get her training...
@Kiki75 congrats on the savings! Such a good feeling! I love budgeting cuz I'm a big weirdo
@Scarlett830 FX for O! Not that it means anything but that temp also looks like my post O temps
@felix08 what CD do you usually O around? I would love to O so early! But probably annoying if it catches you off guard lol. EOD is still good timing though!
@mrsstuessy that is so sweet of your husband. It's nice when they say/do something that let you know they are just as invested as you are, love it!
R/R/CS: I'm trying to find motivation to get stuff done. Until then I'll be drinking my coffee and bumping. It's almost time for the fun part of the cycle!!
GTKY: What is your favourite breakfast/brunch food?
Yes. All of it. Love breakfast and I frequently have brinner (breakfast for dinner). If I had to choose, I would say pumpkin pancakes. So yummy!

ETA: I used to just assume you had to take vitamins in the morning because that's what everyone does... Kinda funny!
@FrancesGrace630 I had started a new workout class this week. I'm so sore in the best way. I hope your sweaty workout was awesome!
@BusinessWife my dog got certificates from puppy class too. I have them all on the refrigerator. We also celebrated her birthday with puppy ice cream yesterday. Haha
@kiki75 way to be positive and yay for another month of saving money.
@Felix08 I understand wanting to have a regular cycle so bad. I hope that this is your cycle, regular or not.
@mrsstuessy That's good that your husband is getting more involved.
GTKY: What is your favourite breakfast/brunch food? sweet - crepe with Nutella and raspberries savoury - breakfast potatoes topped with grilled veggies, cheese and an egg both options need a side of breakfast sausage
R/R/CS: I egg white CM Thursday, and we had sex that evening. The next morning, my temperature spiked, and I got worried that I ovulated before any sperm could have made it to the egg. I still had egg white CM all yesterday, and this morning, my temperature was down again. I'm glad I didn't ovulate too soon and that we have some extra time to keep trying.
I'm really feeling the Barre3 class I've been taking. I'm paying $99 for an unlimited number of classes for a month. To get my money's worth, I'm going three times a week. My muscles are sore, but it's great.
GTKY: What is your favourite breakfast/brunch food? Waffles or French toast. I also love bits of fruit with breakfast. Bagels are great too. If it's a carb, I probably want it.
I I woke up to use the restroom at 6 this morning (I had to get my toddler at 3:30, so this wasn't quite 3 hours of sleep), I'm suppose to temp at 7:30 but I went ahead and did it. Temp registered at 95.52 which is a huge dip. My OPKs were almost positive yesterday, but turned completely negative (like no test line at all) as of this morning.
When my my alarm when off at 7:30, I tested again. This time my temp was 97.89. That's A huge spike for me.
Which temp do I keep? They have such a big margin between them, I'm not sure.
GTKY: What is your favourite breakfast/brunch food? It's a toss up between bacon and hash browns. I love breakfast food!

@PepperAT I take the gummy PNVs so I don't get the stomach upset but it can be a common side effect from the regular ones. Minerals and iron can be very caustic to the stomach.
@linzrunz here's to your upcoming FW and the fun part of TTC!
@PepperAT @Schumerator My DH gets such an upset tummy from his vitamins, he always has to eat ENOUGH to take his vitamins and not have them make him queasy and lightheaded. I'm the same way kind of, I just broke my whole fistfull up into multiple portions, and I don't take too much until I've eaten plenty, even if it's like lunchtime before I get to it. Also, I highly recommend the trainer we used, but I don't know how to find another one like her who comes to your house! She was actually really reasonably priced, I thought, and so sweet, totally local neighbour pretty much, like would be happy to drop by and help us throughout the week if we ever needed a refresher. I can't say enough good things!
@linzrunz Pumpkin Pancakes! That sounds great! I need the butter though, too... mmmm... butter....
@LadyMillil OMG nutella crepes. Bestill my heart.
@MollyandD Aww, happy belated birthday to your furpup! Puppy ice cream sounds delish!
@Skyjewell23 ***ETA IMHO*** 6AM is way too early to have a reliable temp. I would keep it in your notes, but use the 7:30AM time, just note it "sleep deprived" because your being up and about 90 min prior could also artificially elevate it. But FF will try to sort it out, so just do your best and see what else they do in the next few days.
@RedBreast35 Oh I hear you on the mobile ap makin a girl SMASHY! lol
R/R/CS: My period is now 5 days late. Aside from my first pregnancy I've not been late since I was a teenager. Taken a test every morning since Wednesday. All negatives. No early symptoms. My 3 year old came into the bathroom as I was getting out of the shower this morning and I told him that Mommy might have a baby in her belly. He said "Awww, I love the baby. Can it be a girl baby?" And then he came and hugged and kissed my belly. So I really hope there is a sweet little baby in there for him.
GTKY: Spanish Omelette. With salsa and sour cream on top. Tall glass of OJ.
@KirstinH88 OMG LINGUICA!!!!!!!!!!!! mmmmmmm nom nom nom
@CourtneyJo92609 Hi! I don't think I recognize your name from the boards yet, but here's the thing. If you are pretty sure you O'd and are taking HPT's because you believe AF is late, then your post really belongs in TWW. If you do get a BFP, no need to alert the TTGP media! lol Except of course, in your BMB (Birth Month Board.) FX for you!!!
@BusinessWife Thank you for 1) starting this with such a great question that has made me hungry, and 2) not bolding the prompts, my mobile doesn't do well with the un-bolding!

WAYDTGKU: Temping, vitamins, CM/CP, OPKs.... The usual.
R/R/CS: Just kinda feeling down. But I'm trying to cheer up, it's Saturday!
GTKY: What is your favourite breakfast/brunch food? Do mimosas count as a food? I love a good crab/lobster Benedict. There's a place here on the beach with the BEST (and most amazingly-priced) Benedicts, and $10 bottles of champagne for mimosas. Mmmmm.
DD born PPROM preemie at 36 weeks on 10/1/17 after over a year TI, then 3 failed IUIs, and finally a successful IVF FET.
Due with #2 5/2/19 after HIO once in my FW, because apparently that's how life works now. Team Blue!
R/R/CS: My original plan was to wait and test tomorrow, but I tested yesterday morning on a cheapie. BFN, then I started spotting. I told my husband when he got home that I wasn't pregnant and started spotting and that I had it all planned out to give him an early Father's Day card and tell him he was going to be a daddy again and I was going to dress DS up in a shirt that said big brother on the front...so of course I started bawling during all of this. He was really sweet about it and ended up taking me out on a great date. We saw Warcraft in IMAX 3D and I'm still in awe. Now I'm sitting here eating chocolate chips out of the bag and thinking about the beer I'm going to drink tonight.
GTKY: What is your favourite breakfast/brunch food? ALL OF IT. But I do love me a fancy omelette.
@mrsdee15 No problem! I love waking up Saturdays and deciding, hmmm what do I want to make for BREAKFASSSSSST!!! nom nom nom Also, I started it on mobile, so that's probably why the thought of bolding didn't even cross my mind. lol
@PennStateCait Aww, I'm so sorry you're feeling over it this cycle. It has already been a journey, and I'm sure most of us thought we'd be KU by now. Some people really enjoy taking a break from temping, others it makes them more batty. What if you just waited till you confirmed O and then waited out AF/your test date? (((hugs)))
@clover28 Oh dear, so sorry about CD1, meltdown and all ((hugs)) Your DH sounds like he was super sweet about it though. Now pass the chocolate chips, please!!!! :D
@delujm0 I have long been curious how being post-baby/breastfeeding affects cycles. Like I've heard of women intentionally tapering off the BF in order to TTGP?
@FrancesGrace630 Do tell me about this baked oatmeal. Can you make it in little muffin tins for portions to eat throughout the week?
@BusinessWife Aww, congrats to your puppy! You better frame that certificate ;-)
@Kiki75 Enjoy that latte! Get an extra shot of espresso!
@Scarlett830 -3 and O is still pretty dang good. Can you try and get +1 in as well?
@felix08 Your mimosa picture made me laugh. It's so true though. Like, I don't want OJ, I want to day drink.
@mrsstuessy That is so sweet that your DH did research on BBT!! It helps so much to have a supportive partner that is completely on board. Enjoy the birthday party today and stay cool.
@delujm0 I still don't understand how people tandem breastfeed. I can't manage to get KU even while just BFing once a day. I don't even feel a let down but sometimes I hand express after to see if I'm even making milk anymore, which I am. My LPs are also super short since I've had DS.
@Schumerator Amen on the post-biscuit and gravy naps. Is there anything more glorious?
@RedBreast35 I hear you on the mobile Bump hulk smashes. I'm computer bumping today.
@PepperAT My old brand of PNVs made me super nauseated. Now I take the gummy ones and they seem easier on the belly.
@linzrunz Breakfast for dinner is my favorite!!! Mostly because it's super easy and quick, usually.
@MollyandD Tell me about this Barre class. Is it all ballet type stuff? Is there any cardio?
@Skyjewell23 That is so hard since there is such a large margin between them....You may just have to see what happens with tomorrow's temp. Hopefully you O'd and can take the higher one!
@BusinessWife a lot of people find they have to fully wean to get pregnant again but I'm hoping I won't have to...I mean my cycles came back when DD had just turned 6 months and was still taking in about 32oz of breastmilk a day. It would be so mean for them to come back for no reason! I'm with @clover28 though. No clue how tandem breastfeeding is even a thing. If I got pregnant I'd probably force DD to fully wean before third tri just to give my poor nipples a short break before destroying them again...but I'm hoping she'll do that on her own over the next 3-6 months anyway. We'll see. I work full time so other than night time I pump and bottle feed all day which I hate. I just want to hold on to the actual nursing past 1 year if at all possible.
If I get mastitis one more time though, all bets are off. I've had it 3 times in the past 3 months.
@Schumerator here is the recipe for the baked oatmeal! ETA @clover28 I don't know if it would work in a muffin tin, but I have stored it for the week and just heated up a portion every morning and that has worked well.
2 cups rolled oats
1/3 cup brown sugar + 1 tablespoon for top
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup raspberries
1/3 cup blueberries
2 cups milk
1 large egg
3 tablespoons butter, melted
2 tablespoons vanilla extract
1 ripe banana, peeled, 1/2-inch slices
Method
1. Preheat oven to 375°F and generously spray the inside of a 10-1/2 by 7 inch baking dish with cooking spray and place on a baking sheet. If you do not have that size-baking dish, a 9 by 13 pan is fine, will be a bit thinner, but just as yummy.
2. In a large bowl, mix together the oats, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, salt, and half the berries.(Save the other half of berries for the top of the oatmeal). In another large bowl, whisk together the milk, egg, butter, and vanilla extract.
3. Add the oat mixture to prepared baking dish. Arrange the remaining berries on top. Add the banana slices to the top then pour the milk mixture over everything. Gently shake the baking dish to help the milk mixture go throughout the oats.
4. Bake 35 to 40 minutes or until the top is nicely golden brown and the milk mixture has set. For an extra tasty top, sprinkle a tablespoon or so of extra brown sugar. You can place brown sugar on top before baking or add when casserole is finished baking and broil for a couple of minutes.
@delujm0 Ughh sorry about the mastitis, I really hope you don't get it again! Idk how women tandem BF either, but a few of my mom friends do. I wouldn't be against trying it if I end up getting KTFU while still BF DS and he continues throughout my pregnancy. We shall see!

WAYDTGKU: Temping, OPK, acupuncture
R/R/CS: Finally remembered to temp this morning and ugh, it's so low. Idk why my low temps bum me out so much. My acupuncturist said she'd rather see them higher but that it's the temp shift that matters more.
GTKY: What is your favourite breakfast/brunch food? Omg anything..that's my favorite meal of the day! Pancakes, oatmeal, waffles, cereal, yogurt..yup, I could have breakfast for every meal.
@Clover28 it uses a ballet bar. It's a lot of strength and endurance stuff, but man my heart was racing. Each time I've been, there's been a different instructor, since I've gone three different days. I used the ballet bar for certain types of squats where you go really low with your butt out, among other things. The majority of the time, though, I didn't use the bar. The ball and weights were used much more.
Lookup barre3 and you can find videos online. It's a lot of small movements that seem easy at first. Then, 500 reps later, you want to rip off your legs.
WAYDTGKU: waiting...then HIO all the time during our 12 day road trip that should comfortably span FW

Probably French Toast Casserole...it's a casserole made of bread cubes and cream cheese cubes put in a pan, covered with a mixture of eggs, milk, maple syrup, and cinnamon, baked until done, and then topped with more maple syrup..Can you tell I'm Canadian?

@mrsstuessy that's so sweet of your hubby! He sounds super supportive and awesome!
CD: 6
WAYDTGKU: you know the usual
R/R/CS: Stupid BBT is broken I think
GTKY: What is your favourite breakfast/brunch food?
ummm is it acceptable to say all the things? If I had to choose one overall it would definitely be biscuits and gravy although I always feel like I need a nap after eating it lol. Healthy wise it would be protein pancakes, they are so good! I couldn't even tell you the last time I had a regular pancake!
CD: 2
WAYDTGKU: 3 letter stuff. Eventually.
CD: 13
WAYDTGKU: All. The. Things.

CD: 13
WAYDTGKU: All the things
R/R/CS: I'm trying to find motivation to get stuff done. Until then I'll be drinking my coffee and bumping. It's almost time for the fun part of the cycle!!
GTKY: What is your favourite breakfast/brunch food?
Yes. All of it. Love breakfast and I frequently have brinner (breakfast for dinner). If I had to choose, I would say pumpkin pancakes. So yummy!

WAYDTGKU: charting temps and CM
CD: 19
WAYDTGKU: all the things
R/R/CS: question!

Mmmmm.

WAYDTGKU: Well, nothing right now.
@KirstinH88 Have fun at the swap meet!
@CourtneyJo92609 Hey girlie, I think you may be wanting to post on the TWW!
If I get mastitis one more time though, all bets are off. I've had it 3 times in the past 3 months.

Lookup barre3 and you can find videos online. It's a lot of small movements that seem easy at first. Then, 500 reps later, you want to rip off your legs.
ETA:
This video uses a chair instead of a ballet bar, but it's the same stuff, other than that.
@BusinessWife Puppy certificate?! How cute. What breed is your puppy?
@PepperAT I switched to the vita fusion gummies bc other pnv were making me nauseous. I have a super weak stomach.
