Jack and Jude too similar for sibset?

We have two sons-Jack and Simon- and are expecting our third boy.
I love the name Jude for this one. But Jack and Jude? Is that too similar? Does it matter that they'd usually be "Jack, Simon, and Jude?"

How often will people be referring to just those two of your children? I think it would be a bigger concern if they were twins. In terms of hollering the names, like to get their attention, I think they sound different enough to avoid confusion. Good Luck, mama! Congrats!

I actually know brothers named Jack and Jude and it has never crossed my mind that they were similar. It's a great name. I say go for it

How much older is Jack than Jude? Realistically your children won't be children long and not naming one something you love is silly because most of the people they will meet won't have any idea of their siblings names. If they were twins then it makes more sense to be less similar, but even then I have been friends with people for years before even finding out they were a twin. If anything a similar name might be hardest on you when calling for your kids but you are going to mess that up anyway haha. I have caught myself yelling the dogs name at the kids before I finally got the name out that I wanted.
