R/R/CS: So my crazy temp spike yesterday was user error. Whoops. It did jump up this morning, but I am on day 5 of a high reading on CBAD. Hoping that I'll ovulate soon...I've been testing twice a day for the past 3 days (just using Wondfos in the afternoons) hoping I'll catch everything. I wasn't temping at this time last cycle, so no insights there. Riding it out!
GTKY: What's the best concert/show you've ever been to? This is probably more suited for the Unpopular Opinion thread LOL! I absolutely LOVED the Jay-Z and Kanye Watch The Throne tour. I've been to tons of concerts, but the energy at that one was insane. I went for Jay-Z, but shockingly really enjoyed seeing Kanye too.
On that topic, I still regret not going to the Justin Timberlake 20/20 tour. I had 2nd row tickets (totally lucked out when they went on sale), but they were selling for SO much that I couldn't justify not selling them. I bought myself a really nice LV bag and still put almost $1000 into savings for those 2 seats. I heard on the radio he might be doing a residency in Vegas...so I might be able to get a "do over" on that one someday!
GTKY: What's the best concert/show you've ever been to? Oooh, this is a good one. That's a toss up between three choices. U2 in London, U2 in Dublin and Bruce Springsteen at the Meadowlands. U2 in Dublin was just spectacular because well, why wouldn't it be? Sunday Bloody Sunday with a million Irish flags waving is something I'll never forget. U2 in London was actually the same show, but I went with friends (rather than by myself...long story), including this guy that I had a massive crush on and ended up dating and that made it even more fun. I still look at pictures from that night. And then Bruce in the Meadowlands was just an experience. He played for 4 hours straight.
WAYDTGKU: all 3 letter things and praying hard (see r/r/CS)
R/R/CS: so shortly after I posted yesterday I received a call from my OB. She had told me Monday that my bloodwork was all good but yesterday she called me back and told me that my AMH ( egg reserve) was very low at .328 and our likelihood of getting pregnant without help was low. I'm devastated. Im only 33 (a few weeks shy of 34) I'm doing better today than yesterday and I know crazy things happen daily so I'm holding onto hope. We do have a RE appt Tuesday to discuss options so I may law low until then.
GTKY: What's the best concert/show you've ever been to?
definitely Bon Jovi (I am a jersey girl after all) it was pouring rain and not a single empty seat in the house. I would love to see him again
@Marley629 - Lots of hugs, T&P heading your way. That would be very hard to swallow. I totally admire your will to hold on to hope. Very inspiring FX for you my dear!!
Cycle: 23
CD: 13
WAYDTGKU: Temp, CM, HIO EOD until FW, then HIO ED during peak days, OPK, drinking a lot of water to increase CM - I think it is helping, too early to tell still.
R/R/CS: Well after Monday's post - I just want to say thank you to all you incredible ladies for the well wishes and thoughts. After that post, I can say I went kind of BSC. Yesterday was the day I took half a day off for our RE appointment, but since I cancelled it, I still took the time off for mental well being. Spent the afternoon with DH and we had a nice time. Talked about things, and came up with a plan of action until we can get back to the RE. So he is on board with doing things the good old fashioned way, and will actually listen to me when I tell him when we need to HIO. So I am pretty much in a good place right now and feeling good. AND I am losing weight again so I am super happy about that.
GTKY: What's the best concert/show you've ever been to? I've only been to Kid Rock during Mardi Gras Universal Studios. It was pretty good. My first 5k (The Color Run) there was an awesome DJ spinning for the crowd during the after party, They put on a great show and really allowed me to let loose. It was the best thing that I did for myself.
@Marley629 ((((hugs))) omg, I'm so sorry to get that kind of news. I don't have enough experience to know exactly what that means, or how right (or wrong) the doctors may be about your ability to conceive somewhat naturally. We are the same age though, and I'm telling you, my heart goes out to you so hard.<strong> </strong> <strong><img src="https://tse4.mm.bing.net/th?id=OIP.Medbcd727dc7d2715a74efb6679986b0eH0&pid=15.1&P=0&w=300&h=300" alt=""> </strong>@momtoleo<strong> </strong>U2 live in Dublin sounds utterly magical!<strong> </strong>@Krys<strong> </strong>So sorry you like kanye ;)<strong> j/k
Cycle</strong>: 23 Temping / 6 NTNP / 8 TTC
<b>CD: 10</b>
<b>WAYDTGKU: First cycle on Ovaboost, second on FertileCM and my normally CD14/15 O's have moved up to CD13 last cycle and Peak smiley today at CD10. If anyone is hoping to shorten their long cycles, I would strongly suggest looking into Ovaboost and/or FertilAid and FertileCM.</b> They have a line of men's products, too, we haven't tried yet, but if they are anything like the other ones, I totally would try them myself. (DH has not had SA yet, so I wouldn't know if MotilityBoost or CountBoost etc. whatever else they have would be the best fit, but for those of you who have had SA and know what aspect your SO may want to improve, I would say their stuff is worth a shot!) First cycle of 100mg Progesterone starts 3-12DPO, and will ask the doc to go ahead and give me the amoxicillin script, too, if we are not KU this cycle.
<b>R/R/CS</b>: Anyone else noticing that green bar where FF thinks my FW is supposed to be? Uhm... I'm just glad I was able to get DH on board with jumping on this whole thing so we didn't totally miss the party, cos even he was like, "why is it coming up so fast!?!?!" I have read anecdotal evidence of Ovaboost moving O up a bit for people, but I've also heard accounts of bodies gearing up for O and having a false start, and then O-ing later, so we'll have to see if this is legit. Cos right now, I still think it's cray. <img src="https://us.v-cdn.net/5020794/uploads/editor/k1/jg4y9og4fxen.jpg" alt="">
<b>GTKY: What's the best concert/show you've ever been to? </b>I saw Radiohead outdoors - I think it was at Blossom music center. Mostly what I remember is the lawn and the magic in the air. That is probably my favourite concert venue, tho, too.
@GrabberBlue2010 Congrats on the weight loss! And props on taking a quality mental health day, too. :) I haven't updated the weight loss board yet - but today is Wednesday! I totally forgot that is my weigh-in day, so I'm down 5 lbs, too (but that first week of water weight comes off easier than the rest of it.) It's a good feeling tho to be moving in the right direction, right!? <img src="https://2bestrong.files.wordpress.com/2008/08/hug.gif" alt="" height="342" width="248">
@krys FX you O soon! Also, JT in concert, second row, would have been amazing! Hopefully he sets up shop in Vegas, that would be cool to see. @momtoleo Your concert experiences sound amazing! @Marley629 Sorry you did not get the best results back from your tests. Really hoping that the RE can come up with a good plan and you will have some answers soon! @GrabberBlue2010 So glad to hear you guys are in a better mindset. Sometimes all you need is a good afternoon off alone to get back into the swing of things. @BusinessWife That is so crazy! Hoping you see a temp rise soon cause your timing would be so good!
Month/ Cycle: 11/11
CD: 10. We made it to hump day! WAYDTKGU:
R/R/CS: This part of the cycle is pretty boring, not much to tell just yet. DH cancelled the camping trip for the weekend. It is bittersweet, but I am just so relieved I won't have to pee on a stick in the middle of the woods! The downside, I won't get to eat S'mores.
GTKY: I haven't been to too many concerts, but once of the best so far was Bryan Adams. Love that guy and all his music! He played for so long and it was just an amazing atmosphere.
@PepperAT Hey! That is a relief - you can totally make s'mores in the backyard, though, right? Do you have a firepit? Then you get the best of both worlds, including peeing on things in the comfort of your own home! lol (and glad I think it sounds like you guys made the decision in time not to lose your deposit, right?)

@businesswife are those things you have to get through your doctor or did you just order them somewhere? I've been jealous of people who O so early in their cycle!
Cycle: 5/5
CD: 3
WAYDTGKU: Temping, checking CM/CP, taking B6 while WTO, HIO EOD.
R/R/CS: Not much. Waiting the wait.
GTKY: What's the best concert/show you've ever been to?
Definitely Josh Groban. He has the most beautiful voice I have ever heard in my life and I would see him 1,000 more times. Last time he sang a duet from Phantom of the Opera and I teared up. He's coming to Cinci this August and I can't wait to see him again!
@BusinessWife - I might need to check those things out. I only have 2 months of charted data to work off of at this point, but last cycle, O was predicted (I wasn't temping, so don't know for certain) around CD16. I'm on CD17 now with no peak reading yet (but my secondary signs say it should be any time now). That, and my luteal phase was pretty short last cycle (8 days), so i'm a little anxious to see how that looks this cycle. I'm trying not to go too far over the edge since I was on BC for so long and this is only month 2 off of it and I know things will just be wonky anyway.
R/R/CS: I'm still tired!! I don't want to go to work. I played hooky yesterday afternoon and went to the pool. It was so amazing. Best part is... I didn't get a sunburn!! Yay! (I'm very pale and burn easily.) also my favorite cafe reopened after being closed for 3 weeks dealing with repairs. I walk in and the owner yells my name and gives me the biggest hug.
GTKY: What's the best concert/show you've ever been to?
Technically I haven't gone yet, but I've heard Garth Brooks puts on a really good show. I'm seeing him in Vegas later this month with my siblings.

@Schumerator Nope! I actually just got them on Amazon! I started with FertileCM b/c CM, but then I saw other people taking Ovaboost and thought I would add that, too. I'm sure you could start with that, tho, or with a combo, whatever you prefer. I just wanted to add one thing at a time to see what made a difference. I had been drinking the Fertilitea for a while here and no dice. So that was the next natural progression for me to try the FertileCM. Some people have had luck with EPO, but I'm also of the opinion that it may be strong enough and have enough other effects (including delaying o?) that I didn't want to try that until I had tried other things first.
@Krys Coming off BC will be a rollercoaster no matter what, and it's still early days, so honestly, I wouldn't worry too much about it, but of course you're welcome to try anything you feel might be a good fit for your situation. Your body will still be regulating for a while, and really, a short LP is more something you'd want to see settle itself over the course of several cycles before worrying too much about exactly when you're O-ing. Anywhere from 15-18 is all still totally normal. Some women have to wait into the 20+ days for O (also normal), but they still then have a double-digit LP after that. I would say as long as you are on PNVs and DHA, Co-Q10 maybe and/or Zinc, I wouldn't worry too much about spending the money on extra fertility-specific supplements just yet. IMHO
@momtoleo I would LOVE to see the boss! Super jealous. @Marley629 Sorry to hear about your blood work results. Hugs to you. @GrabberBlue2010 Congrats on the weight loss! Glad to hear you're in a better place!

WAYDTGKU: Metformin, PNV's, OPK's, CM, CP, HIO
R/R/CS: Still waiting for O and I'm starting to get impatient. I'm sick of peeing on stuff at work. However I had a huge temp drop this morning so maybe I experienced the elusive pre-o drop?!
GTKY: This is a tough GTKY! I've been to so many shows/concerts it's hard to pick just one. I think I have to go with seeing High on Fire in NYC fo' free! It was a spur of the moment decision DH and I made to road trip it there and I was a total fan girl the entire time.
@linzrunz Yay! So glad you had such an awesome afternoon at the pool + no sunburn = Winning! And checking out your cafe after all this time sounds like a blast too, like an episode of Cheers! lol If it makes you feel any better, I am tired today too, and I don't know where my burst of AM energy came from yesterday, but it was short-lived. :P
ETA <span class="vanilla-mention-@">@EALasagna45 </span>Yay for temp dips!!! FX for O very soon.... :)
R/R/CS: I'm going to Costco unsupervised tonight. Might spend all our money, who knows. Question: When you're looking at the legend on FF it has solid boxes for actual fertile days and actual ovulation days. Does it calculate that based on temp and CM alone? Like, how does it know?
GTKY: What's the best concert/show you've ever been to? 12 year old me would say the Backstreet Boys concert. 25 year old me says that Queen ft. Adam Lambert was actually super sick. Best concert ever.
@Marley629 sending you and your H alllll the good vibes. It only takes one, right??
HUMP DAY!

R/R/CS: Nothing just waiting for my follies to grow a little more and my estradiol to rise. I have to go back in tomorrow to check the progress. Fx we can trigger by the end of the week!
GTKY: What's the best concert/show you've ever been to? Garth Brooks hands down. I've been to a lot of concerts and his show was awesome and so much fun. @linzrunz you will love it!

@grabberblue2010Glad to hear you're feeling a little better today! Everyone has their breaking point, and it sounds like you treated yourself well through it.
@BusinessWife that's amazing that it's helped possibly move your O date up so much! FX that it turns out to be right!
@PepperATthat gif had me literally cracking up. perfection. Also, s'mores are totally doable over a stove. They just won't catch on fire as easily, so that's a downside if blackened is your marshmellow preference.
@linzrunzyay for not getting burned! I spent 3 days at the beach last week and managed to get away with no real burns. I just had to make sure i reapplied sunscreen every hour.
@dilynne yes to the Backstreet Boys. That was my first concert ever and we managed to be in the 4th row. I still have a mental image of Brian looking right at me. I swear it happened! Cycle: 2/2 TTCAL
CD: 25
WAYDTGKU: PNV, tracking cm, temping. done HIO for now i think...
R/R/CS: So all signs point to me ovulating on Monday. Just waiting to see a third high temp tomorrow before moving over to the TWW. If that's the case we had pretty decent timing. I'm just so excited that my body is working the way it's supposed to.
GTKY: What's the best concert/show you've ever been to? My DH and I are huge Incubus fans. That was the first concert we went to together and we've been to pretty much every one that comes through our area since then. It helps that I know their music so well and can really get into it. I think that helps me enjoy it so much more.
As far as shows, I saw Lion King when i was in London year and years ago and I still remember that as one of the most impressive performances I've ever seen. I highly recommend!

My new manager starts today, but my old manager is sticking around until 6/30. I also applied and interviewed for my managers position, but got passed over for this new lady. The higher up managers told me that it was a tough pick, but since I didn't have any manager or leadership experience, they decided to go with someone else. I'm interested to see who this person is, but nervous for the change of management.
GTKY: What's the best concert/show you've ever been to?
I haven't been to many concerts. I'd have to go with Carrie Underwood. Her voice is just so raw and powerful. I've been to 2 of her concerts.
@krys ummm I think you made the right choice on the JT tour!! I like JT, but that's a lot of money you made!! @Marley629 Oh, so sorry about the news from your OB. Hopefully your RE will be able to explain some good options and instill some more hope for moving forward. @grabberblue2010 I'm glad you still took a mental health day--taking sick days for that is just as important as for actual appointments! And good for you for losing weight! I told H I'm going to try to get into really good shape this summer because that's the silver lining of not being pregnant. @businesswife FX this is the real deal and that you confirm O soon! @pepperat You should still eat s'mores!! Make 'em in the microwave! Also, I LOVE Bryan Adams!! @linzrunz Glad your pool day was a success! I also burn very easily...just the other day my thighs got super burnt just sitting in the front yard. @ealasagna45 FX for a temp spike for you soon. @dilynne Yes, it uses all the info you put in to determine O date (temp, CM, opk, CP, etc) @antono yesss Avett Brothers put on a great show! I didn't actually LOVE their music (H listens to them all the time) until seeing them live. Cycle: 10/10
CD: 10
WAYDTGKU: temping, checking CM, EPO, RLT, and, most importantly, sex
R/R/CS: NBR: H has tasked me with closing my bank account today because we need to combine our finances before closing on our house. I have had this account literally since I was 13 and I don't know why but I feel really nervous about going to close it, ha! I just feel like the banker is going to be mad at me. I am not an adult.
GTKY: What's the best concert/show you've ever been to? Ahh, this is a tough one! I am a huge Hanson fan and have seen them over 10 times and I have loved every single show--they are GREAT live. But the most fun show I've been to is probably LMFAO! We dressed up like fools, got hammered, and danced all night long. It was a blast.
@Dilynne I think it goes based on previous stats, including CM and O-dates and overall cycle lengths, but for me, it seems I can't put too much stock in what FF's guess will be...
@MamaMunn GL at your scan tomorrow!!!! So excited for you and hope you get to trigger soon, too FX
@antoto OMG all the chocolate and tea to you, sister ((hugs))
@linzrunz it's crazy cos that is so not my thing, but apparently DH is even worse than me at getting out of bed, so that has become my thing during the week, I get up and let the dogs out, get the coffee going, tell him a million times to have a sip of coffee while making his lunch lol But then on Saturdays, somehow he has the energy to bring me my tea in bed. Go figure.
@jatwal128 FX for that temp rise and great timing!!! :D
@BusinessWife - Thanks! Wow congrats to you too on the 5 pounds down!!! Even if it is water weight, it is less bloating and feeling...all...wavey in the midsection. LOL. Every bit counts for sure!! @PepperAT - Thank you! It was the first time we have needed that step back to really reconnect and get on the same page. Well worth the struggle to get there though @EALasagna45 - Thank you @jatwal128 - Yes, indeed. Thanks a million! And waiting for those lovely CH is torture!! Like give them to me already geesh!! lol @felix08 - that is EXACTLY my mindset. Once last cycle failed, I got all stubborn and thought "If I cant be pregnant and have a family, I might as well be hott as ffuuuhhhh..."
<span class="vanilla-mention-@">@KirstinH88 </span>Ugh, I'm so sorry about getting passed over on the promotion, but hopefully who they did pick will work out, and given enough time they will give you a shot at moving up, too (hugs)
@felix08 omg I would be kind of freaking out too. Is there any reason you can't just leave it open with a minimum balance just sitting there, like for a rainy day? Even if you don't really use it as your day-to-day account? There is something to be said for being a long-time account holder...
R/R/CS: Today I temped about an hour and a half earlier than I have been and FF gave me an open circle due to a much lower temp. How important is it to temp at exactly the same time? I have noticed drinking cause a higher temp. I hate the thought of setting an alarm to temp at the earliest I get up since it can be impossible to get back to sleep. As long as I get CH and can notice a shift does it matter?
GTKY: What's the best concert/show you've ever been to? I saw Adele at a super small venue (2,500 people) on my 26th bday before she hit it big. It was the best thing I have ever. I am seeing her again in Sept but this time in a stadium.
@Marley629 Big T + P for you, dear! @GrabberBlue2010 I am happy that you are happier, lady Also, you are an inspiration to those of us in TB weight loss challenge! @BusinessWife Dumbo question, but the FW squares on your FF...do you have the VIP app or the reg? I don't have that on my chart but it *is* just my first month temping so I don't even know.
R/R/CS: There's leftovers from yesterday's work pot luck and I SWEAR they have little voices calling out to me from the fridge! But I need to be accountable because I have to weigh in soon for TB weight challenge. Damn you, carbs and cream cheese-based dips...
GTKY: What's the best concert/show you've ever been to? H and I have been huge Widespread Panic fans all through our marriage and have traveled all over to see shows. They were amazing for our 20s and 30s but I'm have no desire to be "on the floor" in the middle of that anymore. Paul Simon at Hangout a few years ago was the bomb...the sun was setting on the beach as he played. St. Paul & the Broken Bones, Alabama Shakes, Jason Isbell and Sturgill Simpson have all been impressive shows, too!

GTKY: What's the best concert/show you've ever been to? I don't know if it was the best, but it's one of my favorite memories. I was like 13 and saw NSYNC when they first became a thing. They only opened half the concert arena because they just weren't that big yet. No pyrotechnics, no set, they just sang and danced their asses off for two hours. Oh, and their opening act? Some little 16-year-old girl whose first song just hit the radio earlier that week... Britney Spears. It was awesome.

@Smcgeever Yea, that is what most people do, is set a temping alarm. I set one softer on my phone so it doesn't have to be too disruptive, and then my second alarm is louder and I set for my real wake-up time, which can vary from day to day. 5-15, MAYBE 20 minutes, not such a big deal, but in my experience 30 min one way or the other is definitely enough to make it tougher for FF to interpret.
@ahrains Yes, I do have VIP (you can watch for specials on twitter and FB, I think), but that may well be a standard feature, once you have previous data in there for it to draw on. I had been logging on paper for a LONG time before I started FF, so I was actually able to go back and enter previous data to give it something more to go on.

So I remind him to wake up, shower, remind him to get up, make our lunches, remind him to wake up, feed the dog, take the dog out again, and somewhere in there he's finally gotten his butt out of bed. lol i get so frustrated sometimes but when i really think about it i just have to laugh

GTKY: I haven't been to too many concerts, but once of the best so far was Bryan Adams. Love that guy and all his music! He played for so long and it was just an amazing atmosphere.

IMHO
@Marley629 Sorry to hear about your blood work results. Hugs to you.

@dilynne Yes, it uses all the info you put in to determine O date (temp, CM, opk, CP, etc)

@GrabberBlue2010 I am happy that you are happier, lady

GTKY: What's the best concert/show you've ever been to? H and I have been huge Widespread Panic fans all through our marriage and have traveled all over to see shows. They were amazing for our 20s and 30s but I'm have no desire to be "on the floor" in the middle of that anymore. Paul Simon at Hangout a few years ago was the bomb...the sun was setting on the beach as he played. It was awesome.
then 3 failed IUIs, and finally a successful IVF FET.
