@BusinessWife I agree completely! When my doctor told me they changed the recommendation to every 3 years I was like nope..do it. Ins pays for it yearly..its preventative. Do it!
@BusinessWife wow I had no idea. I had an abnormal pap last year and when I went in this year thinking it was for a pap they tried telling me no it was every 3 years but when I pointed out I had an abnormal one they looked in my chart and were like oh you were right you do need one this year... I get that doctors do their best and have a lot of patients but I hate how when I might remember something they said last time that they have forgotten they question me rather than just look in the chart. Everything was good this time so they said my next one would be in 3 years but if I'm not KU I will have them do it again. Also mine falls around my b'day too!

@felix08@Daisy621 Thank you. He is still not feeling better and the mom guilt has gotten he better of me, so I'm leaving work early (half day!) and going to cuddle and love on him.
@krys what an amazing transformation! I recently lost 10-15 lbs and I thought I did great, but you are looking so good! Congratulations on transforming your eating habits and becoming a healthier you!
R/R/CS: got +OPK on dollar store on CD12, followed by negative yesterday and today. Really thought I'd get my temp rise today but only .2 degrees and still some EWCM. My follicular temps have been high anyway so I'm not sure I will see a great spike. Hoping we can find some time to BD tonight in case O hasn't happened yet.

@BusinessWife Thanks for the note the other day! Glad to hear someone else here is trying FertileCM. I will look into OvaBoost too. Cycle: 9
CD: 3
WAYDTGKU: Taking FertileCM and PNV, temping, OPKs...
R/R/CS: Nothing exciting going on, just partying with AF. WOOOOO!
GTKY: what are your top 5 healthy living tips? Anything from products you use, daily habits, food or exercise related? 1. Okay, I know everyone is saying "drink lots of water," but I'm taking that a step further to DRINK ONLY WATER. I do have a cup of 1/2 caff every morning too... so I'm not saying you need to be totally bonkers-strict... but always choose water over soda, juice, alcohol. 2. I'll also take the "eat lots of fruits and veggies" thing a step further. Cut up your veggies ahead of time so it's easy to grab some broccoli or carrots or whatever as a quick snack. 3. Avoid endocrine disruptors. I gave up my nail polish obsession and changed all of my hair and body products, because so many chemicals out there can mess with your hormones. 4. Find a way to make exercise fun so that you'll actually do it. If you don't feel like exercising, find a great podcast you'll enjoy listening to while you go for a long walk. 5. This isn't a tip, just wanted to say that I love my Fitbit too, y'all!
Loving everyone's tips! Mental health most certainly is important! Glass containers are ideal, agreed!
Cycle: 4/3
CD: 13
WAYDTGKU: OPKs and SEX everyday. Everything else for me just adds too much stress.
R/R/CS: Work has been cray. We have a family business and there are way too many chiefs and not enough Indians. Started OPKs yesterday. Pretty excited about it. It was my bday yesterday and out of everything I think my favorite thing I got were the OPKs. Also, peeing in a cup is hard! Am I the only one who gets pee everywhere?!?!
GTKY: what are your top 5 healthy living tips? Anything from products you use, daily habits, food or exercise related? I agree with everyone. So whatever they said! Also I am team Misfit! Its like a Fitbit but it looks more like a watch, it does have a watch on it, it tracks sleep to tell you when you sleep, is it deep/light, are you awake and etc and for me the best part is that you don't charge it ever. Its battery operated.
@felix08 haha thanks for asking about my favorite sandwich! My fave is a big turkey sandwich with cheese, mustard, lettuce and tomato and pickles on a hero or another big roll. I love roast beef also, that's another fave!
R/R/CS: It's Friday and I have a long weekend! Also feeling really excited about our first cycle trying!
GTKY: what are your top 5 healthy living tips? Anything from products you use, daily habits, food or exercise related? I'm really not a great source of advice for healthy living tips but here's some things I do.. drink a ton of water (cut out pop or other drinks if you can too), use sunscreen daily, get in some exercise at least 3x a week, and find something that works for you to clear your head/relieve some stress- for me that's a good walk, reading, or watching some tv. I also love a good yoga class (or video)- great for the mind and the body.
H & I: Both 28 Married: June 2015 TTC #1: June 2016 BFP: 11-24-16 ~ EDD 8-9-17 IT'S A BOY!
Thank you for all the well wishes with today's HSG! It was totally fine, I took 800 mg Ibuprofen and it wasn't so much painful as it was unpleasant. There was some trouble getting the catheter in, and a little pain when they blew up the balloon that holds it in place, but I did deep breathing and that went away in a few seconds. I couldn't even feel the dye. The entire thing took maybe 5 minutes. I have zero cramping now, and I think the HSG looked normal. I thought my uterus looked a little small but the radiologist said it looks fine, and an HSG doesn't really show uterine size. The dye flowed right out of both tubes with no issues. I'm glad that's over! @Marley629 I hope yours went well today!

R/R/CS: AF seems to be about done I think? We'll see tomorrow. Sometimes it'll get light and I think AF is on her way out, but then she'll be like just kidding! This cycle seemed lighter than normal, not sure if that's related to acupuncture.
GTKY: what are your top 5 healthy living tips? Anything from products you use, daily habits, food or exercise related? 1. Eat organic and non-processed food as much as possible. 2. Stay hydrated. 3. Eat fruits and veggies. 4. Get plenty of sleep. 5. Stay active. I need to do a better job with this! Luckily I have a job where I don't sit on my bum all day. I take at least 7500 steps from work alone.
@mrsdee15 I'm glad yours went well! I had a very similiar experience. I took 800mg ibuprofen about an hour beforehand and had some discomfort and slight cramping but none that I would describe as painful. I Am having cramping now though a few hours later but they said it would be normal. They told me the dye will help clean the "cob webs" out which totally made me feel young ya know lol. But the radiologist said everything looked good and the dye spilled out into both sides so I'll take that as a win. Just waiting anxiously for the OB to call me with my ultrasound and bloodwork results but that won't be until Monday at the earliest.
@Marley629 So glad to hear it! I don't really get to hear the full results until my RE appt on the 23rd. Fx everything looks great for you! I'm so glad to have had an HSG buddy!

@Krys, congrats on the weight loss and sorry about the cabinet mess...but I love your dining room style! @pretzel2plus1 and @ahrains Thanks! Now I have to lose a couple of pounds to fit in the dress. It was a tad too tight in the back and chest a week ago, so that's why I need the FitBit motivation! @felix08, we are benched, but thank you. @leekat14, I have done it intermittently for sinuses and after shoulder surgery in the past. I'm trying it now for herniated disc in my back. Anything I can do to get my body in order before TTC! @SandwichLover I'm in NJ, so it isn't as bad as NYC, but I would rather be outside in the sun rather than in my car. Sirius helps a ton.
