My due date is January 17th. This baby is a pleasant surprise as we currently are parents to a beautiful six month old baby girl whom we had tried for years to conceive before using clomid. I am a paralegal, an animal lover, a cloth diapering mama, semi-crunchy, and happy to be experiencing a second bundle of joy even if it is sooner than planned.<3

This will be our first. - Tell us a little about yourself! I'm 40 and DH is 46. He's a government lawyer and I'm a math tutor. We are both huge nerds and are calling our little one 'Starlord'.

We started trying in 2013 when my DH hit 2 years in cancer remission. We planned to start earlier, but when he was diagnosed in 2010 the docs told us that his cancer and chemo made him infertile. In 2013, we decided to have his sperm-count checked and amazingly he had enough to make pregnancy a slim possibility. After just one month of trying, I was pregnant at the age of 41. Unfortunately, we had a MMC at 8 weeks. We kept trying and I got my 2nd BFP in April 2014, but that one ended in a BO at 9 weeks. At that point, DH's oncologist warned us that the chemo had probably left DH's sperm with lots of broken DNA - a common side effect and bad for pregnancy.
We were actively trying until a few months ago. I hit 44 and DH hit 48 and we made our peace with the fact that a baby wasn't going to happen for us. We've been together for 22 wonderful years and clearly don't need a child to be fulfilled together. We had just started planning our next chapter...
And then last Monday I felt "off" and the need to make more frequent trips to the little girls' room. But I honestly didn't think I was pregnant - okay, so I was 2 weeks late for AF, but my cycles are crazy now and, oh yeah, I'm 44! However, I was supposed to get an x-ray last week and I wanted to be 100% sure that when they asked the question, "Any chance you could be pregnant?" I could confidently say "no." When that little stick got an instant "+", I was shocked! Totally over-joyed too, but mostly shocked. I went through several more sticks to be 1000% sure and then called my OBGYN to set an appt. We had our first u/s yesterday to see how far along I am since my cycles are so screwy - 5 weeks today and so hoping this one is sticky. - Is this your first child/do you have any other children? No kiddos, but we do have 3 kitties.

I love to travel (DH and I head to Italy, France and Spain next week for a desperately needed vacation), chill on the beach (with a little chilled white wine), read sci-fi novels, and design groovy stuff on the computer. I also run my own business from home doing web design and social media.
I spent last week scared that I'm going to mc again and afraid to get excited. But yesterday I chose to change my attitude and I've decided to jump in with both feet and just enjoy being pregnant. So here I am again on TB - I look forward to chatting with all you chickys!

Hi everyone! I am late to the party because I wanted to be sure I saw a little heartbeat before I got my hopes up! I'm looking forward to this journey.
-EDD is 1/4 -This baby was a pleasant surprise! We struggled for 2 years TTC before conceiving my son through IVF. Our first child was also a pleasant surprise. -We have a daughter (5) and son (1) -I am a working momma. I love to run!, hike, travel and spend time with my family in my spare time. My most recent travels took my to Argentina and Germany. If all goes well with my pregnancy we will be going to Belize in November. Fingers crossed!
- EDD is 1/11/17 - I went off the pill in January and we decided whatever happens, happens. But, then my period came early, a week before our trip to Aruba, and too many Aruba Aribas later, I ovulated during the trip and boom. I wish I could say that I am a pro at this the third time around but I feel just as nervous/excited now as i did the first BFP. I work full time in the mental health field and my husband is an entrepreneur. We are married almost 6 years and live in the greater NYC area. We have a big family so we wanted one as well. I'm considered AMA (40) and worry what this will mean for this Pregnancy but I worry too much. My first two PG were so completely different as are both my daughters so I am curious how this journey will be. To be honest, I'm a little nervous that I may be pregnant with twins based on some various things and I'm trying to come to terms with that before my ultrasound in a couple of weeks. But very excited as my doctor is really confident that this pregnancy is off to a great start.

My name is Brittany and I am 24 years old. My husband and I met when we were 18 (2010), got engaged in 2012, married 2014, and just found out about our little blessing a couple weeks ago, in 2016! Apparently our blessings come in two year increments.
We are very excited, our first ultrasound is June 10th (8 weeks) and we can't wait!

My hubby and I are 30 and 31. We had a chemical pregnancy in October and a miscarriage at the end of February at 6 weeks pregnant - prior to our first prenatal visit. We had our first visit last Friday and saw a healthy developing baby and heartbeat so we are cautiously optimistic at this point. My OB is super understanding and I have a HB check next week to set my mind at ease. Excited to join this group!

Hello! I am 29 years old. DH and I have been married for almost 9 years. We live in Grand Blanc, MI. DH is a restaurant manager and is in school full time for his computer science degree. I am a SAHM/WAHM who is a consultant with LuLaRoe clothing. While I am very excited, this was a complete shock to us! Looking forward to getting to know you ladies.

how long were you trying: 8 months. Because I'm over 35, I was already undergoing infertility work up. Everything had been normal including HSG. I ovulated 3 days after the HSG and here I am!

-This baby was a pleasant surprise! We struggled for 2 years TTC before conceiving my son through IVF. Our first child was also a pleasant surprise.

-I am a working momma. I love to run!, hike, travel and spend time with my family in my spare time. My most recent travels took my to Argentina and Germany. If all goes well with my pregnancy we will be going to Belize in November. Fingers crossed!
- I went off the pill in January and we decided whatever happens, happens. But, then my period came early, a week before our trip to Aruba, and too many Aruba Aribas later, I ovulated during the trip and boom. What happens in Aruba stays in Aruba, except if you get pregnant

My husband and I have been together 10.5 years, married for over 5 - both 30. We were blessed with our first little guy in early October 2014 (due Sept 24) via csection after 26 hours of labor! Considering a vbac this go 'round. I wasn't very active on the boards the first time, but I'm actually more nervous this time so I will likely be leaning on the community!

This will be my 3rd baby! My DD is 2.5 years old and my DS is 14 months.

I'm 26, married for 5 years and diagnosed w/ PCOS. Needed meds to conceive my first two. I work full time and I'm in school taking courses to be able to apply to an RN program in about 1.5yrs. I am in the horrible midst of terrible twos/potty training and my son being very stubborn and determined. So, being pregnant right now is causing me major anxiety.
I hope to contribute as much as possible. My BMB for my son has been my saving grace some days! I look forward to getting to know you ladies!

I work as an RN at the local hospital and my husband is in business sales and we've been married for 5 years. I'm originally from Michigan, he's from Vegas, and now we live in South Carolina!

I wish I could say that I am a pro at this the third time around but I feel just as nervous/excited now as i did the first BFP. I work full time in the mental health field and my husband is an entrepreneur. We are married almost 6 years and live in the greater NYC area. We have a big family so we wanted one as well. I'm considered AMA (40) and worry what this will mean for this Pregnancy but I worry too much. My first two PG were so completely different as are both my daughters so I am curious how this journey will be.
I found the Bump community boards were very supportive when I had my second so I am hoping to find a community again to help support through this third PG.

I am a nurse (surgical/ICU background), wishing I would have gone into OB because I feel like sometimes I have no clue what is going on with my uterus.

I'm 31 and my husband is 32. I work part time as an infusion nurse which I love and stay home with my son the other 4 days of the week which I love even more. To be honest, I'm a little nervous that I may be pregnant with twins based on some various things and I'm trying to come to terms with that before my ultrasound in a couple of weeks. But very excited as my doctor is really confident that this pregnancy is off to a great start.

We started trying in October 2015, and concieved our first child that was to be due on Oct. 3rd 2016. Sadly, we miscarried on 3/18, at 11 weeks. We decided to try and concieve right after I got my period in April, and amazingly it worked! So technically we only tried for a month and our little miacle happened

I am a special education teacher in Kansas, outside of Kansas City. I have been married for two years to my amazing husband, Mark, and we are eager to begin this new phase in our life.
- What's your due date? 23rd January 2017 - as far as we know.
- How long were you trying (if you were)? We weren't, it was a wonderful surprise for myself and my OH which we believe was as a result from a weekend away in North Devon, UK, surfing...
- Is this your first child/do you have any other children? No other children, just a grownup cat and a 3 month old kitten...
- Tell us a little about yourself! I love arts, crafts, music, and my Campervan. My OH loves his Campervan too, so luckily enough room for our little one.
We have our dating scan tomorrow because due to being on the combined contraceptive pill the doctor doesn't know how far gone we are, so it could be 6 weeks or more.
Either way, it's progressing well so far, sore boobs, exhaustion, weeing CONSTANTLY, headaches and some constipation. No morning sickness thankfully, but completely gone off of bananas - which is strange since that was my staple breakfast haha.
According to the due date calculators my babies due date is January 23rd, 2017. I have yet to go to my first appointment so the actual date is unknown.

I am 19 and will be 20 in July. My OH is 23 and will be 24 in august. We will be getting married in July and are super excited about all that's going on. Currently I am in college to become a nurse and my partner is a state trooper for TN. We both are super excited about this new adventure we are embarking on!
