The only one I would avoid from your list is Harvey, since Charlie and Harvey are a little matchy. I like Dexter Otis from your list! Also like pp suggestion of Stanley.

I agree with the Harvey/Charlie comment. My husband really likes Harvey.

I agree with the Otis/dog association but, we've been jokingly calling the baby Otis so my son has something to call him and it has grown on me.

I don't think it's so bad in the MN slot. I think it goes well with George.

I like Otis the best, and don't find any dog connotations with it personally. It seems like it's gaining a little momentum recently without being overly popular. I think Jason Sudeikis and Olivia Wilde used it, as well as Tobey Maguire.

Growing up, our next door neighbor was named Otis, he was a great man and I love that name. My grandfather had a great name, too. His name was Herman.
