What is your first name? courtney
When is your due date? dec 18, but i'm pretty sure baby is going to be born on either Thursday dec 22 or on dec 23. both my girls share the 23rd as their birthday, and Thursday as their day of the week birthday. too bad dec 2016 doesn't have a Thursday the 23rd. maybe LO will split the difference and be born at midnight between 12/22 and 12/23. oh, both girls were born at almost the same time too, one was at 10:06 the other at 10:03. crazy right?
What part of the world are you from (be as vague/specific as you want)? west coast florida
What number baby/pregnancy is this for you? #3
What is your occupation or dream occupation? i'm a pharmacist, I hear there are a few of us on this BMB! I don't think I have a dream job anymore. unless it's just coming up with ideas and having other people carry them out. I think I would make a good lottery winner.
Does your/will your nursery have a theme or color combination? oh a nursery. this baby doesn't even have a room. I feel terrible taking a room from either one of my daughters to make them bunk up, but i'm sure LO isn't going to be able to sleep in my room for long. plus i'm going to have to disassemble one of their beds so I can convert it back to a crib. i'm hoping that MIL will just decide to move out one day soon and I can put LO in her room, but there is a 0% chance of that actually happening.
Have you bought anything for baby yet? nada. I need to see or hear a heartbeat first. we're going to have to get some major purchases though, most everything we had for the two girls was either consigned, donated or trashed.
If you have bought things, what is your favorite thing that you have gotten so far? haven't bought anything yet, but I did save the beco gemini carrier from DD2 which I figure will get a lot of use this time around.
What is your favorite part of pregnancy so far? nothing. I've been so effing sick that I can't enjoy it at all yet. once I get the u/s i'm sure everything will start feeling more real and i'll hopefully be feeling better in a couple weeks so I can actually enjoy it.
Do you have a favorite maternity/baby brand? I loved motherhood for work clothes, le mystere for pretty nursing bras, and I still love Gymboree for kids clothes. they are so durable and wash easily.
One thing you will splurge on this pregnancy? i'm going to have to get more maternity clothes, and consignment is typically slim pickings for work choices. other than that I haven't really thought about it. hopefully all 3 kids will fit in my Honda accord, or the big purchase is gonna be a new car.
What are your top pregnancy related priorities? to not have pelvic girdle pain this time (I could barely walk last pregnancy). to not have back labor. and to not have a C-section. yup, pretty sure all of those are in my control!
What is your favorite book? I used to read and enjoy novels. it's all internet trash, blogs and medical journals now.
What is your favorite tv show? oh there are so many! the bachelor is on again, i'm still in love with grey's anatomy, this year I got into limitless and quantico, I love OITNB, and the Goldbergs since the 80s was wonderful! I know, you're probably reading this thinking, if you didn't watch so much tv then you would have time to read books. touche!
What is your favorite movie? i'm not sure I have one. i'm not a fan of rewatching the same movie over and over. my sister once made me watch License to Drive every day one whole summer, and then the next summer I had to ensure my brother watching Momento every single day. i think that's where i get it from. don't get me wrong, i love good movies.
What is your favorite band/singer? i'm more of a radio girl, pop music mostly, the 90s station or Pulse on Sirius, but i appreciate all types of music, I've been to Crue fest and black label society, and been to see Rob Thomas and the Script. i love them all!
Anything else you would like us to know? DH just walked in the room and told me that if I was looking for something to get him for father's day, to buy him a beer koozie that he can wear around his neck. yes, this is the man I married.

I would LOVE to experience regular labor this time to feel the difference. Overlapping contractions, insane pain gripping your whole torso, stalled labor... oh yea. I think avoiding that would be quite lovely.
Can anyone tell that I'm still angsty about my labor experience?

And yes to The Goldbergs! It is my absolutely favorite show on TV. It's so great seeing everything in the show, cos most of it was stuff we had growing up. Even my sister had Erica's bedspread, and my cousins, sister and I started playing Fireball Island at holidays when we get together.
Yes to Grey's too. I think some seasons I could be done, but I have to keep watching. I do miss the 2-hour season finales where I almost have a heart attack going on due to the "what is happening?!" moments.

Nice to meet you!
anyone who goes more than a couple minutes with back labor without an epidural is a true rock star in my book!
and the goldbergs, I love how they totally romanticize all the dorkiness of the 80s and make it look so cool again! like we all know how ridiculous we all looked back then, but watching it on TV makes us seem not so awkward after all.

And I'm so with you on the movie thing. I can't freaking stand watching the same movie more than once. I'm the same way with books. I've never read the same one twice.
