@susykat77 I wonder if you can carry something with you to divert them from getting close to you. I know natural remedies don't seem to work specifically on the Zika guys, but geranium oil is supposed to be good. I got a bracelet that's infused with geranium so it smells nice and is supposed to work great.

@tulips29 How far along are you? My doc offered to do an early ultrasound. I would like to see the sac but I also don't want to go too early and then be stressed out by not seeing something.

@susykat77 Certainly! It had really good reviews. It's called Bug Band and has geraniol in it. The one I got was glow in the dark. It seems like the natural products (like geraniol) don't work well on the Zika mosquitos, but for everyday buggers it should be great.

@susykat77 I'm measuring 5 weeks 3 days as of today. Looks like you transferred 4 days after me, so I think they should be able to see the sac for you this week also. Did the doctor tell you when they can do this u/s? I think it's good to see so that you know something's happening in there, but of course that's up to you if you don't want to. When would be your next appointment if you skip this one?

@tulips29 I am 4w5d as of today. I might see if I can go in on Friday (at 5w1d) just to see the sac and then my next apt would be at 7 weeks where I would hopefully see the heartbeat. I thought I was going to hold out and be ok but it is so hard!

I got my BFN. Pooh. We are scheduling a new consult with our RE to review our 2 cycles and see what is next but can't get in until 7/6 (they don't meet with you at the end of a cycle unless you schedule it). Also going to schedule a consult with a new RE to get their thoughts and potential plan of action (scheduled for 6/28). I turn 41 in July so that is a hard bit to swallow. We'll see, but holding on to hope that there is still a baby in my future!

I got a big surprise today, i went in for bw thinking it was just to monitor my estrogen and progesterone and about 2 hours later i got a call from the RE telling me my pregnancy test was positive! i am only 5dp5dt but BETA was 50, i go in on Saturday for confirmation test but the RE was very upbeat and positive it was only going to increase! I cant wait to surprise DH he has no idea!

My beta was this morning. Should hear in an hour or so. Not expecting positive results because of my BFNs on the 5 HPTs I've done. But I'd be nice to be surprised!

AFM- beta #2 came in at 2600. RE wants to hold off on doing a third beta. 1st u/s is scheduled for 6/8. My RE says I'll stay on my meds until about week 11. I'm so excited!

AFM- beta #2 came in at 2600. RE wants to hold off on doing a third beta. 1st u/s is scheduled for 6/8. My RE says I'll stay on my meds until about week 11. I'm so excited!
