    WAYDTGKU: PNV+DHA, CM

R/R/CS: I still haven't started temping this cycle and I'm starting to think maybe I'll just take this month off, I was planning to start OPK tomorrow but maybe I'll wait a little longer. So undecided. 4 more days of work (including today) until we go on vacation!!

GTKY: I feel like we haven't done this one in a little while (sorry if we have!). Let's see those fur babies! If you don't have a pet, is there one you want to have? Have you ever had one? If you're not into pets, show us your favorite animal!

I have three fur babies, a pug and two weenies. I'm too lazy to post a pic. I love seeing everyone else's though!

WAYDTGKU: pnvs, bbt - back at it today after my af break

R/R/CS: I actually did some meal prep yesterday so I don't have to cook or do anything more than reheat for the next few days!  H and I also played racquetball yesterday and that felt great!  After my exercise-related health troubles at the beginning of the year, I was so thankful for my beet red face because it means I'm getting stronger and building more stamina.  Hopefully that whole thing is behind me.

Rant: I got my hair cut Saturday and I just noticed that the two sides are unequal lengths.  I'm not upset but it's just like...

Don't know when I'll have time to get back to the salon.

GTKY: Let's see those fur babies! If you don't have a pet, is there one you want to have? Have you ever had one? If you're not into pets, show us your favorite animal!

I've dreamed of getting a Westie for years but 1) We're trying to appreciate this childfree, responsibility-free life for as long as possible, 2) our landlord doesn't allow pets, 3) DH is allergic to most animal fur so it would have to start out on a trial basis anyway.  DH wants to name it Wee-Bey, I like Butters or Clover.  So maybe we'll get two and they'll be best frands.

    Ed. for smaller pic.

Charting, PNV, B6, EPO, CoQ10, Mucinex, RRL tea, green tea, FWP whenever OH and I are in the same zip code...and Instead Softcups

    R/R/CS:
So I broke down and decided that since this is our last cycle before seeking help, I'm doubling down and trying Softcups.  There seems to be some anecdotal evidence that they are helpful, but even more, there doesn't seem to be a downside to trying.  I'm going to give some details here, although most of you have indicated that oversharing about this stuff around here is kind of impossible.  Anyway, I practiced getting one in before OH came home for the weekend, and was successful after what seemed like a fight, trying to get the thing not to spring back on me (you regular menstrual cup users are total heroes to me!).  This morning we went down to pound town before he had to get up at zero dark to head out of town for work.  Though he is on board with trying this (I was actually able to make it sound rather naughty and dirty, if you can believe it), I waited until he got up to start getting ready to start the wrestling match (he was very helpful by pretty much getting right up).  Shock of shocks, but it pretty much went right in.  I suspect the bit of Preseed we used as lube and his deposit made it easier.  I had seen a You Tube video suggesting using your muscles to get it to go in place, but it kinda did that on its own.  Now, retrieving it in my office restroom was another story...but as embarrassing as the audible suction noise when I broke the seal was (and consequent small gush of fluid), I'm so pleased that it seemed to be seated properly.  Hopefully the next three or four, or however many times we can get some banging in, times will work out as well.

    GTKY:
We are renters at the moment, so we don't have any pets.  Someday we will get some very large dogs.  Also, I had a cat for 18 years, who passed away two years ago.

  • @Aurora1973  There was a thread a few months ago about using a menstrual cup to hold semen in post-sex (I can't find it to link to it, though) and a lot of people pointed out that that is a good way to get an infection and, for the same reasons it's not necessary to put your hips in the air after sex, it really isn't necessary to hold the semen in there for hours afterward using a cup

Thanks for the heads up :)  I think I found that thread when I searched TB.  I'm sure there is a risk, as there is with anything, and I'm willingly taking it.  I didn't find anything that suggested that infections are more common when I was reading about it, but it's possible I missed it.

When you're 42 and finally at the right place to have the kids you've dreamed of your whole life, and facing going in for testing and potentially fertility treatments that also carry risk and expense, you want to know you've tried everything you deem reasonable.  I'm sharing the experience, since that's what this forum is for; I'm most certainly not suggesting that anyone else try it unless they've drawn the same conclusion I have from their own research...the same as when we discuss taking Mucinex or supplements or whatever.

Thank you all for the love and support from Friday. I don’t want to resurrect an old thread  but know that I very much appreciate everyone who took the time to respond to me.

@wineo929 FX for good SA results. My OH had his last Wednesday and we still haven’t heard anything. I called Friday but they weren’t in yet. And  OMG Lola is so cute!

@sarah0985 Hope you feel better soon.

@mrsdaddario I’m so sorry for all your letrozole struggles. FX this time has good results.

@Buthayna I’m sorry but I’m going to have to hate you a little for having no desire for a pet. J/K

@teerlerfan78 I had a black lab growing up named Oreo!

@EALasagna45 Congrats (early) on buying a house!

@SDSwenson Sorry about your grandma’s ankle! I def know what you mean about spending time with grandparents.

PartiallyDomesticated Happy anniversary. Sorry about your Mom’s dog *hugs*

R/R/CS: Rave: Vacation was nice. It was muddy from previous rain and then it rained Friday night/Saturday morning. We didn’t take our dogs on any trails…partly due to the mud, mostly because they are crazy. OH (I think I like OH better than DH so I’m switching) didn’t want to take in the scenery as much as I would have liked but I still got to see some awesome views. Even after seeing them three times previously they were still amazing.

Rant: Coworker pretended nothing happened on Thursday and we were/are still BFFs….I want nothing to do with her until she apologizes.

@clover28 @SandwichLover I'm on ww too. Although admittedly I haven't tracked in a few days. I never did pp so sp seems pretty easy to follow for me...I did lose 16 pounds before starting to slack off....why do I always do this? I need to get back on the horse.

R/R/CS: *TW friends baby, pregnancy mentioned*

Can I just rant for a sec? SIL is due at the end of June and her and my MIL have been texting me daily....pics of her belly..."oh..baby has dropped! Won't be long now!" I literally get several texts daily. I am so stressed with school and finances right now that sorry...her baby and pregnancy is not in the forefront of my mind right now. Yes...please rub it in that I'm not KU daily while I'm so stressed about other things. Please remind me that SIL is having the first grandchild of the family...I forgot....am I a horrible person?

Also I don't have kids so I obviously can't know what this is like...and I'll probably do it when I have one....but my best friend had a baby last month and literally posts like 10 photos of her baby daily. Like...3 photos in the same position. "Here's us waking up"..."walking to the park!"..."aren't I cute?" I love her and she's adorable but 1 photo suffices ...do I really need 10 photos of the same position..maybe slightly altered by one inch?

Wow I am a real bitch today. Crabby mccrabberson over here.
