Well... This is crazy. I went in for a follow up appointment today since I haven't miscarried yet. They did an ultrasound and saw a yolk sac and a baby which is a great jump from the 1st and not seeing anything. I measured 6 weeks and 5 days BUT no heartbeat yet My doctor said not to worry and said everything looked good so far but of course I'm freaking out all over again. He also said the bleeding has been normal and isn't hurting the pregnancy at all. Follow up appointment is next Friday so maybe I will be rejoining you all again. Pray for me this week if you think about it!!
Oh my gosh! What an update! I am so hopeful for you @mamabirdoftwo ! I hope you see all of the good baby things next Friday! You'll be in my thoughts and prayers.
what a crazy ride they are taking you for! oh i do hope it works out and you get a sticky baby. just remember, "today i am pregnant". thinking hopeful thoughts for you!
I've heard that it's not uncommon to not be able to hear the HB that early. I hope you get good news on Friday after this crazy ordeal you've been through!
@mamabirdoftwo I can't even imagine how you're holding it together with all this up and down!!! I had bright red spotting last Friday at 7wks 1d and it lasted for an hour and now I just have a bunch of brown discharge. My doctor thinks it happened because I had a transvaginal ultrasound the day before, but it still freaks me out and I worry about miscarrying again! No one ever tells you how much of an emotional rollercoaster pregnancy can be!
Your story gives me hope. I am on my second pregnancy and started having brown discharge then some red mixed in then a little bit of pink but only when wiping, yesterday I had a gush of red blood so I went to the ER. They did an US and couldn't see anything then did a transvaginal and said they didn't see a fetal pole or yolk sac and that I'm only measuring 7 weeks, I'm supposed to be 10, or so I thought. I also have a tilted uterus, apparently misdiagnosed miscarriages are common among women with a tilted uterus because baby is so hard to find. I go back in 2 days to see if my HCG levels have risen. I'm still spotting brown and red mix but haven't really had any cramping or pain. Hoping for a positive outcome like yours. Congrats!
Wow I'm sorry you're going through that as well @ashmeley17 . I had a somewhat similar issue with bleeding and a ridiculous ER visit last weekend, and I think my tilted uterus was also at play. Definitely go to your OB for more conclusive information, as the ER clinicians are NOT OB specialists.

So sorry you are going through that.. It's so hard to keep it together. This is my 5th pregnancy with 2 healthy babies. Feel free to message me if you wanna chat I'm praying for good numbers and healthy baby for you!
HOLY CRAP! Baby has a strong heartbeat... I'm 8 weeks 1 day... What a roller coaster ride this has been but I'm so happy I didn't miscarry like I was told at the ER. So looks like I'm rejoining you guys ❤️
