Thanks everyone! Everything is good, for the most part. I have a dynamic cervix, so they said I was having some consistent "contractions", but it's not progressing me. When they took the first measurement of my cervix it looked short, but on the internal it was fine, but moving (?) I guess. I'm on modified bed rest for the next few days and then a follow up ultrasound on Monday. They don't think it's going to turn into pre-term labor, but I have to be extra cautious and stay off my feet as much as possible (not easy with a two year old!!).
@lgem4 glad they said it was normal! I think my doctor's were more wishy-washy because my uterus was also contracting (and still is, as I'm writing this, ugh). I had a ton of Braxton Hicks contractions with DS1, but mostly after 36 weeks so I'm just worried about how early it's happening this time - and that some aren't Braxton Hicks. I'm just going to try to stay off my feet as much as possible, but all these babies coming early have me a little more worried!

Good luck with the bed rest. I can only imagine trying to explain it to my DD. Fingers crossed for continued good news.
