18+2 and about as big as I was around 24/28 weeks last time which is odd because I've gained much less this time. I can feel baby kicking once or twice a day, which is pretty awesome for an anterior placenta and being plus size.
Everyone looks FANTASTIC!! We should all be so proud to show off our bumps!!
Married 11-11-11 TTC only since Dec 2015. I had some weight to get off. Been working hard in the gym for over a year. BFP 02-15-16 with our first IT'S A BOY!!!
@MrsB627 I'm so sorry. I can't believe how rude people are!
I'm plus-sized but never really had a belly, so I'm definitely showing. Another girl at work is tiny so it's more obvious on her. Yesterday one of our coworkers basically said that the skin stretching will be easier for me than her because I "always look pregnant and she's so tiny." I was so shocked, I didn't even have a response to that.
How can you tell someone that they always look pregnant? First of all, she never knew me before I was pregnant. And the other girls at the salon knew me for years. They know what I look like heavy and that I carry my weight decently enough. They also know I worked hard to lose the weight while battling an eating disorder, so they've been polite enough not to say anything about all the weight I gained over the last few years while I dealt with infertility. So they all ran out of the room cause they were so horrified that she said that.
@krzyriver- I cannot believe the insensitivity that comes out of people's mouths!! How can they think that's appropriate, let alone not think about how it could hurt someone's feelings?? Did anyone have a mother teaching them manners growing up? I'm so sorry your co-worker said that to you. All I can say, is perhaps she's lucky enough to have never had any issues where she's struggled, or judged herself or been judged by others - because once you have, you think a little more before you speak. We can never know what troubles someone is battling with on the inside. I try to remember that every time I envy someone with a tiny size 4 body, or with, what I think, is the perfect job or the perfect relationship...who knows what problems are filling their world!
People are d-bags! People are saying I don't look pregnant yet, but it's only because I always looked pregnant (I hold all my weight in my stomach), so we'll see how the second half of this pregnancy goes.
18+4 yesterday breaking in my 1st piece of maternity clothing. I've been absent for the last month traveling and enjoying my "second wind" that I never thought would come. Happy to see all the October Moms looking healthy and happy.
A/S and 1st time seeing the babe this Saturday. So glad It's on a Saturday so I have to whole day to celebrate and soak in the gender news. I have a gender reveal party planned for Monday so I an hoping baby isn't shy on Saturday!
BTW please excuse my frizz "Halo" one thing I have not had the pleasure of is luxurious hair during pregnancy. I having greasy yet dry weirdness 24/7.
Thanks @AgentCarter! The swing really needs to be painted but it's our rental house and I don't want to mess with it. Lol. and we have an old coffee table out there and a Home Depot bucket we make wine in.
20 week 3 days today (missed hump day, so busy!). Feeling hecka bumpy. Also, very tired. Glad it's almost Friday! I also have my anatomy scan on Saturday and I can't wait!!!!
Wow!! People really don't think before they speak!! I don't get why people think, especially with pregnancy, that they can say whatever they want, whenever they want!! And as for weight, I don't get why just because people are big that they aren't healthy. Just like people assume small people aren't either. Such stigma to be a perfect size! It's pathetic!
FTM at 19w,5d. Wasn't going to participate because there hadn't been much change in a few weeks. Then I woke up to an overnight bump explosion this morning.
