Mom's who already have more than 2 kiddos

Momma's,

How did you find the transition from 2 to 3 children or more? I currently have a 4 year old and a 2 year old, and am expecting baby #3 in January. I am nervous to say the least about the changes a 3rd child will bring. Did you find your transition easier, harder, or the same going from 2 to 3 or more then you did going from 1 to 2?

Thanks all!

My kids are very far apart in age so it isn't exactly the same but from what I have seen and heard form people who have many kids is that the hardest part was going from 1 to 2. I found it was a bigger adjustment going from none to 1, then from 1 to 2. By the 3rd things were worked out pretty well.

I assume it is going to be different for people in different situations, how far they are spaced and the personalities of the kids make a difference as well.

When I had my 3rd my oldest was just over 3 and my middle was 19 months.. maybe I'm just lucky but I didn't think the 3re made much if a difference. She was such an easy baby though. I thought from 0 to 1 baby was the hardest. I'm due with my 4th in November. So hopefully this kid is as easy going as #3 was!

I cried the first time I was left with the three of them on my own.  It was a really tough transition for me to go from 2 to 3.  Ours are fairly close in age.  They were 5/ 3 when DS was born. I am
    supwr scared about number 4.
  • We are expecting number 4. I think it's all in your approach and view on it. Yes, it's a change. Yes, it can be hard. But really it's just another little in your tiny army of cuteness. I think going from 0 to 1 was the hardest.
