Going to see if I can get to 10 today. Here goes…

I’ve been going to bed later and later each night around 11:30ish and waking up around 6. I look like a truck hit me every morning! I know that sleep is only going to become more sparse and I need my brain to shut down. Pre-baby anxiety-1. Me-0.
I lost my MP the other day, and I’m going a little crazy since then. Every day, ask myself “if this is your last day with just you and DD, how would you spend it?” It’s making me feel really emotional and I can’t seem to get a grip.
I’m trying to think ahead for Father’s Day. Do you ladies have anything planned yet? H and I love really good coffee, so I was thinking about getting him a coffee of the month delivery for a few months. Lame?
If I'm correct, today is @txmamatobe induction date! I’m excited for you, mama!
I feel for everyone who’s going the the baby blues, or PPD. It’s such a difficult thing to navigate through, and even harder when you feel like you’re alone. Maybe a thread for this will help some of our mamas. I can start one later today.
The Dave Matthews Band is coming to town a few weeks after I have the baby. I reallyyyyyy want to go, but I doubt my abilities with a newborn, and a toddler, and all of the pot lol.
DD and I have been having dance parties every morning to the Disney Pandora station. She is obsessed with the song from Lilo and Stitch, “Hawaiian roller coaster ride”. It’s so damn adorable!
H is going to a meeting that’s 2 hours away today, and then leaving around 5 in rush hour traffic. Not sure what I would do if I went into labor and he wasn’t here!
I’ve been cleaning obsessively and making sure that If today is "the day” that my home looks clean and will hopefully remain that way when I return. HA.
H approaches me last night and says, “hey, if you wake up earlier than me tomorrow, can you give me a ‘special’ (sex or BJ) wakeup?” I straight up laughed in his face. Seriously, If I get up before him, and DD, I’m going to have coffee and take care of…I dunno…me??

@Jenly17 I hear you on the pre-baby anxiety at bedtime. Every little twinge wakes me up and I feel so beat by the time my alarm goes off for work. Then I just think how this is way more sleep than I'm going to be getting very soon.

And I was trying to plan ahead for Father's Day too before I can't think straight. I'm getting tickets to a baseball game for him and my dad (all we have is minor league but hey, it's outdoors and there's beer and adults). I figure by this time, he'll be grateful for an evening out. Also my birthday is in June but it's not like I'm hoping he remembers how nice and thoughtful I was, no never, healthy marriages shouldn't play tit for tat. I think that coffee idea is really cute! Mm... coffee... It's also kinda fitting because it's like, hey, new baby, we're exhausted, let's enjoy these little caffeinated pleasures. I like it!

1. I THINK I'M SICK. NO NO NO. Coughing congested and sore throat at 38+4. Oh joy.
2. Getting cleaning done around the house while trying to keep up with the maintenance stuff of straightening up every night is tough!
3. It feels so good to be done with work.
4. It just keeps raining.
5. I'm getting nervous about our child care options for DS while at the hospital. We have plans A, B, and C...but plan A isn't a go until my due date, and plans B and C are friends and I don't think that it'll work if it's the middle of the night. Hmmm. Fingers crossed?
6. Headed out for errands today. I'm hoping it's the last time...
7. Obsessively trying to find a cocktail attire dress for a wedding 1 month post-partum. Last time I went up to a 34G and I'm already there this time so the bust/nursing friendly is the big issue. Share your finds!
8. Jane the Virgin this morning. I'm indulging.
9. I love seeing all of these babies!

1. Less than two days before induction. Thursday at 8am here we come!!

2. I hope so, so, so, so bad LO comes on his own before then. Like, overnight on Wednesday would be perfect LOL

3. Today is my last day at work!! FINALLY! Tomorrow will be spent doing random things I don't need to do like dust and DH and I will probably watch a couple movies and try and relax! (Relax!? HA!)

4. My family lives all over... all of my stress about who is coming when and will they have to wait on me and OMG I'M HAVING A BABY makes me forget to be excited that I get to see my mom on Thursday! And my Dad, stepmom and little siblings! And my MIL and FIL!! I don't get to see any of them very often so I am so excited!

5. My siblings and I range from age 30 down to 7! I am 27, and my little sister is 14... I was just 13 when she was born. It feels like yesterday that my dad and stepmom were bringing her home and I was marveling at this new little baby in our lives. Now all of a sudden she is about to graduate from the 8th grade and will be meeting MY baby in just a couple days!! She will be an Aunt! And my even younger brothers will be UNCLES!! So crazy!

It makes me emotional.

6. DH and I watched "Jupiter Ascending" over the weekend... DH asked me if I wanted to watch it and said, "It's supposed to be bad, but we don't always have to watch good movies" - Excellent point, actually! So we watched it, and it was SO bad, but it was a fun, entertaining way to spend two hours ;-)

7. I told my doc yesterday I thought I lost my mucus plug - I was like 99.9%. Apparently that was just my body responding to the membrane sweep and I haven't had my plug for a couple weeks now?? Ok then!

8. I am trying to focus on having strong, positive thoughts about myself and being very optimistic and positive and confident about labor and birth. So far, it's really helping me to feel like I'm going to be great and manage everything okay. MH keeps saying he can't believe how beautifully I'm handling everything - hopefully I can keep it up during L&D!!

9. I CAN'T WAIT TO MEET MY LO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

10. I think I should get a pedicure tomorrow - obviously it's very important that my toes are prepared for delivery LOL!!

1. DS and DS2 are super cute together

2. The 3am-6am clusterfeeding continues. He just really likes to eat on the early morning. Thankfully, he tends to sleep in 2-3hr stretches during rhe earlier part of the night.
3. DS has become obsessed with the baby episodes of Daniel Tiger.
4. DH is the master burper, though often DS2 just unlatches, burps, then continues.
5. I woke up this morning for the day to the sound of feet on hardwood and, "Mama?" DS got out of his room by himself. The horror. I'm still trying to figure out if DH didn't latch the baby gate properly or if DS figured out how to open it.
6. I'm about to try attempt #3 today to shower.

8. My incision seems to be healing much better this time around.
9. Yesterday I drove again and actually got both boys out and about with me for a couple hours.
10. DH has been coming home for lunch lately. I love getting to see him partway through the day.

I cant believe baby girl is a week old today. Thinking about the fact that she is not going to be this size forever makes me want to cry.
I also cant believe how much I love her!
I started an email account for her to send little letters and pictures. Maybe for her 16th birthday I will give her access (if emails still exist then!)
Today is day 2 of daddy being at work. I am not bored...yet....but can feel that another couple of days in the house is going to be torture. Hoping by the weekend I feel better and we can get out.
I was able to get about 6 hours of sleep last night! She fusses and cries if flat on her back/not held so the last week has been challenging. We are working on sleep training and got a wedge for the PNP. I can only hope that every day she gets a bit better.
Yesterday I put on BB cream and mascara for our dr appt. I felt half way human again.
Sometimes I miss feeling her kicks from inside.
In laws are coming tomorrow for the day to allow me to sleep. I am really looking forward to it.
I have only lost 10 pounds so far, but my stomach is just about back to its pre-pg size. I decided not to worry about the number on the scale as much as how I look/feel.
I am obviously obsessed with DD based on the fact that my whole TTT is about her/PP.

@Jenly17 For Father's Day and/or my DH's birthday (because they're so close together) I ordered our LO a onsie that says "Plays with Cars" and it came with a shirt for DH that says "Still Plays With Cars." I also just ordered him and LO matching crochet ninja turtle hats. I showed him the picture of the hats my friend made and he goes, " I want one!" I said they were for kids and he gave me this look, she told me she could make an adult size so I just ordered matching ones.

I'm pretty excited about it. Hopefully he likes it as much too.

@Jenly17 thank you! Yes, I go in tonight. I'm terribly anxious but he's got to come out somehow! I know I can do it - I just can't wait to see that he is healthy hopefully and get rid of some of the anxiety concerning that.

1. I love seeing all the baby pictures. I can't wait to see what our baby boy looks like!

2. DH and I have completed our lengthy to do list.

3. DH needs to mow the lawn be he broke the lawnmower Sunday and didn't even get to really do the back yard (which is where we walk the dogs!). I am hoping we can get it fixed for cheap-ish.

4. I am cold. I wish that it would actually start feeling like spring. This is so frustrating!

5. I am sick of the clouds and the rain. MAKE IT STOP!

6. This weather makes me want to take a vacation to a beach at an all inclusive resort. That can't happen for a long time.

7. I made DH his favorite cookies on Sunday for being so amazing lately with me being a slave driver. lol

8. We tried to find little baby hangers on Sunday at Target and Wal Mart and couldn't find them at EITHER place. I know they both sell them. It was so frustrating.

9. Yesterday I went to Babies R Us because I knew they would have the hangers. They were having a 50-70% off sale on clothes so I went in to buy 4 sets of hangers and ended up spending $46. Oops.

10. I shouldn't be allowed to go into any baby stores by myself anymore.

1. My ob just called in to a delivery so my appointment for today is rescheduled for tomorrow which kind of screws up my plans for tomorrow. Grrrr.

2. I'm scared every time I go to poop that I'm going to accidentally poop out this baby. Not realistic I know, but still a fear I have.

3. I'm worried about my moms ability to take care of DD next week while I'm in the hospital for several days after RCS.

4. I love my new Fitbit charge because it tells me who is calling my cell phone.

5. We were invited to a 8th grade graduation party half way across the country by Hs cousin for this Friday...obviously a send a gift invite! So now I need to go buy a gift a mail it...last thing I want to do!

6. I'm excited to get a pedicure on Thursday with my friend.

7. We have a wedding to go to on Friday.

8. DDs last dance class is tonight and I'm waaaay too happy about it! Recital is on Sunday...day before my c-section.

9. I discovered this week that Dunkin donuts can use liquid sugar in their ice coffee and now I'm obsessed.

10. This baby boy better not come out early...T-minus 6 days!!!!

1. I went to the grocery store yesterday evening after work and got a lot of groceries since it's been a couple of weeks since I've been shopping. Usually, the bagger asks if I need help out to put the groceries in my car. I always decline, but yesterday, I was ready to accept the help as I am 9 months pregnant, and it was raining outside. He didn't offer.

2. I went to bed last night at 7:50, and got up at 5:30. According to my FitBit, I still only got 8 hours of sleep within that time, but I consider that a huge win because I haven't gotten 8 hours in a long time.

3. My mom visited on Sunday and helped me finish putting everything up in the nursery. I love that little room so much now.

4. A coworker told me the other day, "I've noticed over the past few weeks that your belly has gotten bigger." Observation of the year?

5. I've have several people tell me my belly has dropped, but I don't see it at all. I've been carrying low my whole pregnancy.

6. I am craving all the cold fruity things. I can't get enough orange juice, smoothies, or Crystal Light.

7. 37+3 today, and I still have not packed a hospital bag, but I have a made a packing list.

8. When he could first start feeling the baby on the outside of my belly, DH was kind of freaked out about it, and didn't want to touch it. Now he comes over and tries to poke my belly to get LO to move. It's pretty cute.

9. DH has also been telling everyone that the baby is estimated to be "huge" and that they have moved my due date up at least a week. Yeah.. not true. LO is measuring a few days ahead, but my doctor has not given any indication that she thinks he'll come early.

10. We were given so many blankets (so. many.) as gifts. And also baby soap/lotion. I'll have no shame in pulling any of these unused items out and giving them as a gift at the next baby shower I'm invited to.

1. I have been a mom for about 8 hours.
2. With baby in neonatal, it doesn't feel like it. Sad, but I will see him tomorrow.
3. Alex is so perfect. I've never seen a baby that I thought looked like anyone immediately, but he looks like my DH. Very unique chin. It's weird.
4. Being 'milked' by someone is weird, but not the strangest thing that has happened today.
5. The drugs are goooooood.
6. DH is obsessed with Alex - it is so cute.
7. Roomie's family just showed up. Annoyed.
8. I will only be allowed to get up tomorrow morning. I thought it was going to bother me - but it doesn't.
9. I love my DH so much!! He has been a trooper.
10. I love my baby boy and I miss him (how strange) and can't wait to raise him with my DH. Happy Tuesday ladies.

@Jenly17 I mentioned Father's Day to DH a few days back. We also have my birthday and our anniversary in June (both on the 7th), so I think we're planning to do something for all three Father's Day weekend. I do plan to put LO in a Father's Day related outfit, and write him a letter "from" LO (when she can write, I'm hoping she'll want to write him a letter every year for Father's Day). Whatever we do, it won't be spectacular and will likely involve eating on our patio.

@yogahh I've considered making an email account for LO. I've heard of it, but I'm not sure what people tend to include inside it?

@bshurdy We received some lovely blankets, but we actually didn't receive the blanket apocalypse we were warned about! I did happen to receive a blanket that matches a friend's theme for her nursery perfectly, so I do plan to send it to her. Other than that, I'm hoarding all the gift bags for any baby shower I attend for the next few years.

My due date is tomorrow.
I've had Chipotle for the past two days in a row, and I just called and asked my husband to bring it home for dinner again tonight. I've earned it...right?
I'm planning to do LO's newborn photos: I think it would be a special. I have experience, I just hope they turn out with me being only a few days postpartum.
My mom and I went to Ulta Beauty yesterday, and I got way too excited that Organix makes my favorite shampoo/conditioner scent in a lotion.
DH and I set up a bird feeder in the backyard this year, and the birds just plow through the seed. Also, bird seed is more expensive than I thought it would be.
Speaking of birds, our pet lovebird had her spring molt and the back of her head is almost entirely yellow feathers now (used to be green).
We had our car seat inspection, which was the last thing (I think!) on our pre-baby to-do list.

1. I am obsessed with my baby girl. I have never loved anyone or anything the way that I love her.
2. As hard as it is to be the primary source of comfort for her, it feels pretty incredible to be needed in such an intense and real way. It is the most amazing feeling to be able to soothe my baby almost instantly when she is upset. My H calls it my "mommy magic"
3. I'd like to meet the inventor of the RNP and give them a hug. That thing is incredible. Best $70 I ever spent.
4. I turned 34 yesterday and I spent the day taking care of Holly on my own. Even though it was hard work and a bit boring, it was probably my best birthday ever, she is the best present and I am so blessed to have her.
5. My H usually works from home but got a writing gig that he has to physically be there for all week. I've been a bit emotional today about it even though yesterday went well and I can totally handle it. I'm proud of him but I'm excited for next week when he'll be back home to help out with Holly.
6. I'm jealous of those who live close to their mothers. I so wish mine could come over whenever I need her.
7. I'm watching Vikings now and I'm surprised by how much I like it.
8. @Jenly17 I think a ppd/baby blues thread is s great idea!
9. Mastitis sucks. My boob hurts!
10. Did I mention how much I love my baby girl?! I love her more than life!

1. I'm headed to my midwife appointment, but I don't even feel like it cause I know nothing will have changed. I've decided to forgo cervical checks, because I feel like they'd just make me anxious if I was dilated and disappointed if I wasn't.
2. DH has told me that I snore incredibly loud. Last night he slept on the couch. I feel super bad for him, cause I know I'm ruining his sleep. My sleep is already terrible, so it sucks that we both have to be exhausted.
3. The last couple evenings DH and I have been playing Little Big Planet 3 together, and it's been so fun. I'm glad we've gotten to have some alone time before LO gets here.
4. I'm so happy for all the mamas on this board who've had their babies. They're all gorgeous!
5. I ate a ton of pineapple yesterday. I know it won't do anything, but I can't help it.
6. I think I'm going to attempt to mop today. That's probably a bad idea, but for some reason the idea of bringing the baby home to not spotless floors is bothering me.
7. I can never make it to 10 things.

1. Two days until due date. Crazy.

2. I LOVE seeing all the birth announcements. Well, especially the regs. I'm so happy for everyone. The babies are just beautiful!

3. I can't wait for my baby to be here. I will have a huge relief lifted once I know he is here and healthy. The unknown is terribly scary for me.

4. I still have a fair amount of things to do at work. Hopefully I can wrap it up soon.

5. I started acupuncture yesterday. It was a lot different than I expected. My expectations were needles all over my back, but there was just one on each hand, foot, and about 4 inches above my inner ankle. He really worked them in there a few times over 30ish minutes.

6. I had my first contractions last night. Only a handful of them and they were very short.

7. My H was really testing my patience this weekend. He has about 3 major projects that he is working on, but instead of finishing any of those, he started a new, huge landscaping project. He is laying decorative concrete edging around the house, laying new weed barrier, adding new rock around the house, etc. We have HUGE piles of sand (for the concrete) and landscape rock in our driveway. Ummm hello?! We could have a baby any day now and you think it's a good idea to start a huge project like this? Meanwhile, he wants to plant 60 trees out at our lot (someday we'll build out there) and wants to plant a large garden out there, too. The trees are in our garage. Yes, I did cry about it over the weekend. Cry-worthy? Probably not, but I have all the emotions right now.

8. After being mad at him all day Saturday, we're friends again. I just decided I'm not going to care. My house is clean on the inside and I'll just let everything else go for now.

9. We had our car seat checkup last week. I actually like using the base with the seat belt vs. the LATCH better in my car. I was surprised about that. He gave me two thumbs up on our install. I was happy about that because car seats can be intimidating.

10. My great-grandpa passed away last week. He was 96. It's pretty crazy to think about all he has seen over the last (almost) century. The automobile was barely invented when he was born... now look at where we're at?? Incredible. PS... funerals and pregnancy emotions should not mix.

1. I'm so ready to be done being pregnant.
2. Walking into the gas station a random man I've never met says to me "Congratulations!" Me: "Thank you.." Him: "Twins!?" Me: "Nope..." He deserves all the middle fingers.
3. This lady in front of me at Subway just tried to get my sandwich toasted for me when I said not toasted. Chill yo, I'm pregnant not handicapped.
4. I'm getting my hair done today. Yay!
5. I'm getting a mani/pedi tomorrow and hoping it'll be my last before this baby comes.
6. I have real pants on today, which I feel I should get an award for.
7. This entire pregnancy I've said how I absolutely do not want my water to break while I'm in court...and this morning I decided I don't even care anymore because it eans I'm at least in labor.
8. This PUPPPS rash is horrible. I slept with ice packs last night, which was a little helpful. I think if I didn't have this rash I wouldn't feel so miserable.
9. I think my husband is completely clueless as to how miserable I actually am, and it kinda makes me hate him right now. I wish he could spend two days experiencing this.
10. Subway and mountain dew (which I almost never drank pre-pregnancy/3rd trimester) is basically my daily go to lunch right now.

Thank you. Death is sad no matter the circumstance, but when you are 96 and have been in the nursing home for 9 years the quality of life just isn't there. It's cliche, but he is definitely in a far better place.

1. My work threw me a surprise shower yesterday! I wasn't expecting anything, plus I've only been at this job since January so it was very sweet. Good people.
2. We still have leftover birthday cake from my son's 3rd bday party on Sunday and it's my jam at night. Sigh, I want some now.
3. I think I talk about food in every TTT.
4. I just went to Target and got a Father's Day card for DH from the boys, one from me, one for my dad from me, and a card for a soon-to-be grad. This time of year is cray. Doing it now, or it'll get away from me.
5. Also, cards are damn expensive. WTH?
6. I had an ~erotic~ dream about Ben from The Bachelor the other night.

Random, and not my first choice.
7. I managed to wash my nursing tanks and comfy laundry last night. So I can attempt to get my hospital bag packed tonight! Well.. before I hit 39 weeks, maybe.
8. This weekend is our 5 year wedding anniversary.
9. I'm so excited to meet new baby!!!!
10. In the morning when I get up, I do these standing pelvic tilts from my pregnancy pilates video and it looks like I'm slowly air-humping, but it feels so good on my lower back.

1. I loved waking up to 4 beautiful baby announcements today and am hoping I get to add mine within the next week.
2. I seriously have zero fucks left to give at work. Listening to these late 40-late 50 year olds bitch about each other day in and day out is really wearing on me...I have zero tolerance for catiness. Can't wait to spend my next 2.5 months with a REAL baby instead of an office full (there are a few exceptionally rad ones though) of overgrown babies.
3. Last weekend, DH didn't see why we needed to get the house cleaned because it's "just going to get dirty again anyways." He only wanted to concentrate on getting his garage all cleaned and organized. Now all of a sudden he asks me what he can do for me before I get home from work and I give him the answer he gave me last week saying we don't need to clean. I think something finally clicked because I came home the other night to swept floors and him cleaning the downstairs bathroom.
4. Everyday for the past month, one of my coworkers tells me baby has dropped. I mean, how much more can she drop before she falls out?!
5. One of my cats is still pissing on the basement carpet and I'm almost to the point where I just want to dropkick her. We've spent so much money on her trying to figure this out and it turns out it's all behavioral...AKA, she's a jealous bitch.
6. My feet are starting to look like biscuit dough popping out of a canister when I wear my flats. Sexy, I tell ya...
7. My due date is this Sunday and I still have my hospital bag strewn about our room because I keep wearing clothes out of it.
8. All I want right now is a piece of that pineapple upside down cake that is sitting in the break room.
9. I went out to my Jeep yesterday to nap over lunch and it was so cold outside that I snuggled up with one of LO's baby blankets. So.Soft. Baby blankets are the bestest.
10. I loaded up my sweet potatoes with cayenne last night and my casserole with hot sauce today. Hoping the spiciness will get baby going!

People are weird. I went to Smash Burger a couple nights ago with my husband, and when I ordered my burger, the kid behind the counter asked if I wanted it well done. I said no. (I hate well done). When they brought out our order, they were like which one of you had the well done burger? Arg. So some teenage kid made the decision for me that my burger should be totally overcooked. I decided not to make a stink but it pissed me off.

1. well I had my final prenatal visit today... still only at 1/2 cm

2. I have an induction scheduled to start tomorrow night

3. I'M NOT GOING TO WORK TOMORROW!!!!

4. I may have asked too many questions about the induction... my doctor gave me the best case scenario and also the worst case scenario... I'm slightly terrified

5. apparently if the induction is going very slowly I might not get to meet my baby until Friday

6. Though the induction scares me, I was very reassured that my Dr. wants to avoid a C-section. I think this might be why she allows a lot of time for the induction to work.

7. I forgot to plan a dog sitter!!!! Fortunately my sister came to my rescue

1. My mom is still here 13 days PP and she has been SUCH a huge help to DH and I. We have not had to even as much as think of what to eat for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or even snacks. We haven't had to do one bit of laundry or even imagine folding a piece of clothing, she has fed the dogs and exercised them every day since she got here, and she's letting DH and I go on a quick date night tonight since it'll be a whole 10 months (he deploys in a month for 8/9 months). She leaves Monday and I don't know how we will do it without her.

2. Speaking of mom, she stripped my dining room table and is currently sanding it now and going to stain it tomorrow, it's going to be like Christmas to have that table refinished.

3. Although I'm going to miss DD like crazy tonight, I'm really looking forward to an hour or two at dinner with DH.

4. DD shot poop all over me yesterday, it was fabulous

5. DD is seriously the best baby ever, I don't know how we got so lucky with such a blessing. I love her so much...poop and all!

6. I think we have finally tackled the weight issue with baby as well, thank God. She was down 17% from birth weight and got down to 7lb 2oz from 8lb 9oz. She gained a whole lb from Saturday's appt to Sunday's appt and they allowed us a few day gap before we give her another weight check on Thursday. Fingers crossed that she's continued to gain.

7. My biggest surprise from my PP body is that I think my stomach looks BETTER now than it did before I got pregnant. I've always struggled with weight due to my Hashimotos Thyroiditis and I've never had my ideal flat stomach..it's definitely flabby as I'm only 13 days PP but it's already much flatter than it was before. Glass half full at its finest right there!

I have my 39 week appointment on Friday, but last week my midwife said I could come if I wanted to, but really no reason since everything is going perfectly. I actually really like going to my appointments, but feel kind of weird going now for no reason. They’re always just a milestone for me to look forward to. Anyone else ever have a situation like that?
Hemorrhoids have become a normal part of my life. Gross!!
My mom came over last night to help me vote in the primaries and then she took my ballot to drop-off for me today. Because I am an adult child.
This baby moves SO MUCH. Looks like I’m belly dancing half the time!
I keep inventing new ways to move around that don’t involve my abs. I’m desperately looking forward to having them back, but happy with how good at this I’m getting.
I want to complain about being pregnant all the time. I also want to be one of those women who deals with it just fine and doesn’t complain about being pregnant. I’m finding out it’s hard to have both of those things.

1. I'm jealous of DH. He's a wonderful dad and would do anything I ask, but he gets to sleep while Ezra is fussy from 3-6am. He was kind enough to take Ezra for awhile this morning so I could eat and have coffee and get myself together. I don't want to bottle feed but I'm tempted to just so he can experience one day of being your baby's only need.

2. The dog has gotten into the habit of licking Ezra's feet while we're changing him. It's adorable. My dogs border collie aspects have really come out since Ezra has been born- both good (constant monitoring of the baby, very gentle) and bad (herding everyone and getting stressed when they won't comply).

3. I wish Ezra had head control already! It stresses me out that myself or DH isn't supporting his head enough when we move him.

4. I've always been bad about not drinking enough water, but since breastfeeding I'm getting headaches every day from dehydration. I set alarms on my Fitbit so hopefully I can remember!

5. It is MUCH harder to be a zen mama than I thought it would be! I imagined constantly wearing Ezra and looking so beautiful and perfect and just going with the flow- that is not how things are going at all. Mostly Ezra and I lay in bed and I alternate between looking at him lovingly and checking Facebook. Yikes!!

6. To all my PPD mamas- I 100% support you and think you are amazing! Things are going good for me and I still have moments of tearful frustration, I can't imagine how it would be if things were challenging or I didn't have my support system.

7. I'm afraid to eat oats because my good boob is already so big! Plus if Ez doesn't eat every three hours I can literally feel my milk sloshing around in there, desperate to escape!

8. I self weighed my guy yesterday and he's at 10 pounds!! He was 8.2 when he was born two weeks ago! No wonder he's fitting better into 0-3 clothes!!

9. I hate changing Ezra's diaper. He gets so cozy and happy right after he poops it's hard to wake him. Plus I'm not very good at it so half the time the damn diaper leaks everywhere, especially if I'm changing at night and just trying to finish quickly so we can lay back down. I wish I could do elimination communication but this kids communication is giant farts, how am I supposed to catch that?

10. Non mom thoughts: I bet the singer MeatLoaf has a really great life. He seems happy.

1. I'm pretty sad I just started reading these and participating a week ago. I love reading them and learning about all of you!

2. I was also so happy and excited to wake up to so many birth announcements!

3. I'm sad that the thread I created for birth stories died. I love reading everyone's posts, but after a day or two, they disappear, where if we did those and had one thread where we could all put our stories we could reread them all whenever we felt like it. I just love all of the differences.

4. I'm just about tired of trying to figure out when the baby will arrive. I'm so excited!!

5. I'm most nervous about waiting for my MIL to get here to pick up my daughter before I go to the hospital. What if it just long enough I don't make it?! Haha!

6. I'm so ready to be done with school. Every day I put away everything I prepped for a potential sub just thinking what a waste of time.

7. My cousin is due with a girl 4 days before me and I am slightly worried she will use my name unknowingly. What are the odds right?

8. I really want taco pizza right now....

9. I really hope I make it to the hospital in time for my epidural. It was so amazing last time!!

10. I feel a little selfish I want the baby to come now. I'm 38w4d that's close enough to 40 weeks right?

1. 39+2 and feeling pretty good for being at this stage!
2. We got our car seats checked today. Whew!
3. We made it through the string of dates that had several close family member birthdays, so now LO will not share a birthday, but may hit our anniversary on the 26th.
4. Our BIL and SIL are almost to the second trimester with their triplets and mom and all 3 babies are doing great. I'm so excited for them and that our kiddo will have cousins so close in age.
5. So relieved to be done with work for awhile, though DH keeps me in the loop of all the work drama.
6. I am accomplishing a couple of things on my to-do list each day, but fitting in some decent nap time while I still can!
7. I can't wait to see if baby is a boy or girl!
8. While I'm not super into astrology, I'm also curious to see if baby will be Taurus or Gemini. It could go either way at this point.
9. DH are getting in as many date nights as we can, and I'm loving the excuse not to cook!
10. I'm anxious for our dr appointment tomorrow to see if I've made any progress towards having this baby!!

1. An hour before we go in for the induction and I'm freaking out! I know it will be ok but I've got so much anxiety right now and cannot wait to be on the other side of it all.
2. I'm going to miss DD so much. She's in great hands and she can come visit any time but of course I have to worry about her.
3. Debating on if I should eat one last thing before I walk into the hospital. Right now I feel like it's a bad idea but I don't want to be hungry later
4. I'm posting all this with nervous energy so I have nothing good to say!
5. I made salted caramel cupcakes last night and they were delicious. I shouldn't eat one now but they sound pretty good
