R/R/CS: I'm having a bad TTC day. That awful thought "What if I never see a positive test?!) keep's creeping in and I'm trying to tell myself that people have waited longer than 8 months before getting KU.
My temp came back down to a more realistic level today following my being ill for the last two days - If I mark down "fever" FF disregards my temps for yesterday and Sunday but I've left them in because nothing much is going to change at this point.
Still no idea which day I o'd but I reckon my temp tomorrow could shed some light on the situation as if tomorrow is CD13 my temp should drop. If not then maybe tomorrow really is CD11.
GTKY: What's the most adventurous thing you have done in your entire life? Can be anything.
I joined the British Army, it was the single most terrifying, unbelievably hard, exciting and amazing thing I have ever done. I only have good things to take away from the experience (apart from a dodgy back and a stress fracture in my leg).
Testing: Putting it off as long as I can manage this time.
R/R/CS: Got my crosshairs from FF this morning so I'm back over here. Best part of today so far is that my letrozole-induced acne is pretty much cleared up so I don't feel like I need to put a paper bag over my head.
Question about FF and O dates. On Saturday I got a positive OPK. On Sunday my temp was up and I had a negative OPK. Would that not mean that I O'd Sunday? FF is telling me Saturday and I just don't think that's right. It did that last month too. Wouldn't O be more likely to be on the day after the OPK and the day the temp went up? My temp was still down on Saturday.
I know in the grand scheme of things, one day doesn't make that much of a difference but I just don't understand.
GTKY: What's the most adventurous thing you have done in your entire life? Can be anything. I live in a really small town and dated the same guy from age 17-21. When we broke up, I was devastated (as you are at that age, with your first love) but was eventually able to see it as an opportunity. We broke up in September and I finished my last year of school and left in April to work on a cruise ship. I'm an only child who is incredibly close to my parents and the fact that I actually did something like that still amazes me. I ended up staying on ships for 6 years and had lots of adventures along the way but that initial big leap is something I'm proud of.

GTKY: What's the most adventurous thing you have done in your entire life? Can be anything.
@MelissaM090 O would be on the day that your temp was still down. The temp spike would indicate the O has happened. Temping shows ovulation once it has happened. Whereas OPKs show that it could be about to happen.
The temp spike is a result of a surge in progesterone from the corpus luteum that released the egg.
Testing: I am not giving in and testing early this month. I need to put a padlock on those things because I feel like I am keeping the Dollar Store in business sometimes.
R/R/CS: Usual TWW anxiety, but I have a lot going on right now so it is helping me not think about it so much.

@babymish Okay, thank you. I feel like I knew all that, just needed to be reminded. I guess I just have a short surge then? If I'm always O'ing on the same day I turn the OPK? It sucks because I'm hardly getting any warning.

@MelissaM090 Yeah it must just be a short one. Hopefully you got good timing before hand?
What type of OPK's are you using? I tend to use a mix of wondfo's (to see the line begin to darken) and then digits to confirm the peak, that way you can see a bit of a build up.
R/R/CS: I had a faint line this morning, which I have to assume is residual trigger since I did not test it out. So now I just have to see if the line gets darker or lighter I guess. Part of me is like, I'm 11 days past trigger, there's no way it could still be trigger. But then the other (realistic) part of me is all, of course it could be, you idiot. That's why you weren't supposed to test yet.
GTKY: What's the most adventurous thing you have done in your entire life? Can be anything. We had this question a while back and it made me realize how unadventurous I am. I'm afraid of everything and a huge worrier, haha, so skydiving and such is just not going to happen. R/R/CS: I had a temp drop this morning, so I'm likely out this cycle. I am really hoping my LP is not shortening since it's usually only 12 days. My temp has never dropped on CD 9, so I'm kind of bummed. Plus, I'm feeling nauseous and have been all morning. It could be a side effect of the Metformin, or I might be getting sick. Yuck!

R/R/CS: I'm really excited about tomorrow and taking a test. If I am pregnant, then the little ball of cells I've been daydreaming about has probably implanted by now.
This is is my first cycle charting BBT. This morning, I had the highest temperature since I've started charting. It wasn't fever high, thank goodness. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it's the beginning of the triphasic pattern I've read about, but one temperature isn't enough to mean much. It's just me being hopeful.
GTKY: What's the most adventurous thing you have done in your entire life? Can be anything. This is hard to say. My cruise to Mexico and the ruins at Uxmal were hardly adventurous, but it was a wonderful adventure non the less. I don't know that I have a single most adventurous moment, but there have been so many times that friends have called me at odd hours and suggested something totally random, like midnight swimming at a water hole, going to chop down a Christmas tree from another friend's land at ten at night, or climbing to a building roof at night for no reason at all. I've usually been up for those random adventures, so even though it's not one certain thing, I think I've had my share of being adventurous.
R/R/CS: there is a freaking mouse in my office and he's freakin me out. it's not afraid of me in the least and it keeps popping out to look at me!!!
GTKY: What's the most adventurous thing you have done in your entire life? Can be anything: I'm afraid of water so taking two cruises is probably as adventurous as I have been.
@lisswastaken OMG I would REFUSE to go to work until the mouse is gone! Call me dramatic--I don't care!! I am freaked out for you just reading the post! Before DH and I moved in together, he lived with another guy in an apartment and there were mice! Once I found out, I refused to go to his apartment until they were caught and the landlord fixed the issue of where they were getting in. Ahhhh!! Stay safe!!

GTKY: What's the most adventurous thing you have done in your entire life? Can be anything. I cannot think of anything that anyone would consider super adventurous. I spent a week in Germany while in high school and moved across the country (with my DH) where we knew no one. That's all I've got.
@babymish I'm using Wondfo's. Had a light line on Friday, dark line on Saturday, light line on Sunday. My temps are also 'up' but not nearly as up as last month. Up enough that FF saw the pattern but not a surge at all.
So what I thought was -3, -1, 0 timing is actually -2, 0, +1 timing. Hopefully that's good enough.

@babymish I'm sorry you're having a rough ttc day. I'm feeling the same way, wondering if I'll ever see a bfp again and if it's just not meant to be. *creepy internet hugs*
@Daisy621 this is my first IUI, but my second time triggering. I just looked back at my TWW posts from last cycle (crazy much?) and at 10dpo/11dpt I said that I had a BFN, but that maybe I could see a shadow of a squinter. This morning was definitely more than a shadow or squinter, but that doesn't mean anything because urine concentration and/or a million other things could just be different this cycle. Trying to calm the crazy.

@sldp123 REALLY hope that turns out to be an actual line and not just a trigger line.
@beary67 It's still early! You never know.. I know its hard to balance the positive and negative thoughts and to try and not build yourself up for a let down... but... you never know.
@Zoey1019 I hear you on the BFP's. Super happy when other people get them but it's hard sometimes. I really have to force myself to remember that there aren't a limited number of babies and someone else's BFP doesn't lessen my chances. But sometimes I get this BSC feeling that all the current regulars will get theirs and be gone and I'll be the last one here. And not to gender stereotype, but yeah, sometimes female-centric workplaces are the worst. Depends on the women obviously, but the bitching and complaining and gossiping sometimes seems so much worse than with male-centric workplaces.

R/R/CS: So I got a BFN this
morning but I was expecting it. Not only
because it’s still early but because I feel completely normal this TWW and
there isn’t even a symptom to spot. I
know I’m out this month. Oh well. I feel like the BFNs are getting easier and
easier, as weird as that sounds… At least I’ll be surprised whenever it does
happen.
GTKY: What’s the most adventurous thing you have
done in your entire life? This is a hard one for me. I’m obviously pretty boring because I can’t
come up with one thing. I went zip
lining in Cabo…that was pretty crazy I guess.
R/R/CS: It's my first time on this board! I wasn't sure where I belonged this morning. If I exclude one temp from this weekend where I overslept and took it late, then FF gives me CH on day 15. If I leave it, nothing. However, based on my CM I do think that I O'd on that day. So I'm going with it.
GTKY: What's the most adventurous thing you have done in your entire life? Can be anything. I'm kind of a boring person. I can't really think of any single adventurous thing I've done.
@MelissaM090 thank you! And I know the BSC feeling you're talking about. Some of the regulars from when I first joined this group are having their babies, and I'm just over here waiting. Fx for you this cycle, your timing is great even with the change to your O day!

@babymish That sounds like a good answer to my annoyances! That gif is pretty impressive! Let me know how it goes when you try
My favorite question is when they come to my office and say, "do you have a minute?" and start closing the door...NO NO I don't, don't close the door, I don't want to hear whatever it is you are going to complain about...really I don't.....

GTKY: What's the most adventurous thing you have done in your entire life? Can be anything
dh and I lived in another state in our early 20s away from our family and friends. It was a crazy time in our lives but I don't regret it. I am happier that we are back home with our families though.
R/R/CS: after yesterdays much appreciated chart stalking I manually set my CH to cd22. Seeing FF say 18dpo, test now was annoying and making me BSC. I did have another pos opk yesterday, but no temp changes (still high) so I'll hang out hoping there's no re-O. Pretty sure af is on the way this weekend, if I don't have another 50 day cycle. It also doesn't help that my pms cramping changed last month. Used to be gut wrenching pain, now it's a pinching/pulling. It feels like I pulled a muscle if I sneeze wrong or get up too gast ugh.
On a side note we've hit reset on the house hunting. Our realtor just emailed me saying maybe we can do a county homebuyers program with downpayment assistance (we were trying usda). So I email her lender and she doesn't handle those loans...I'm done and we're getting a new realtor, looking into the bonds, and switching gears to houses in town. DH is getting really into ttc and wants me to quit working, but we've gotta secure something first since our rent just keeps going up yearly. eta- and holy drive-bys while I was sick!! I'm still catching up on the reading...
GTKY: What's the most adventurous thing you have done in your entire life? Can be anything. Haven't done too much you'd consider crazy. I think the most adventurous thing would probably be when we decided to spontaneously elope a month before the wedding. Took a day trip to the next state that had no waiting period and spent the day walking down the coast. The families still don't know...

Can it be a future thing? I signed up for rundisney 10k. I have never run father than a 5k. I am way out of shape for where I was when I could run 5k. I have just started doing couch to 5k and then will switch to couch to 10k. I am soo worried I will be swept up because we will be to slow. I am chubby and short legs with big boobs so I feel like it is a big fight against my body. But, I can already notice I can run longer without getting out of breath. Only Disney could get me to run a 10k. The medals are soo cool! And you get character pics while you are running through the park.
R/R/CS: So I have been half heartedly charting this cycle because I'm just waiting for it to be over. FF took away my CH, I'm guessing because it can't decide where to put them. I know I ovulated I just am unsure when that was. I'll attach my chart incase anyone wants to throw in there 2 cents.
GTKY: What's the most adventurous thing you have done in your entire life? Can be anything. I'm not a very adventurous person so I guess I'd have to say moving across the country with my boyfriend. When DH who was my boyfriend at the time graduated college he got a job in a different state and asked me to move with him so I did. It was crazy, but we survived!

My temp has never dropped on CD 9, so I'm kind of bummed. Plus, I'm feeling nauseous and have been all morning. It could be a side effect of the Metformin, or I might be getting sick. Yuck!
GTKY: Probably moving to South Carolina out of my comfort zone where I didn't know a single person.

Testing: I'm going to take a FRER tomorrow.
Cycle: 5
CD/DPO: 30 / 17
Timing: good
Testing: BFN's all over.

But now I realized that other BFPs don't mean I get a BFP, so depending on my attitude, they make me sad..... today is a sad day because I can't STAND my job today.

R/R/CS: So I got a BFN this morning but I was expecting it. Not only because it’s still early but because I feel completely normal this TWW and there isn’t even a symptom to spot. I know I’m out this month. Oh well. I feel like the BFNs are getting easier and easier, as weird as that sounds… At least I’ll be surprised whenever it does happen.
GTKY: What’s the most adventurous thing you have done in your entire life? This is a hard one for me. I’m obviously pretty boring because I can’t come up with one thing. I went zip lining in Cabo…that was pretty crazy I guess.
