Not a good first appointment.. (loss mentioned)

Friday I went for my first appointment at 10 weeks and 1 day only to find out I have a Blighted Ovum. My body is and has been playing a cruel trick on me for the last ten weeks

So basically my body is growing an empty sac and I currently have no signs of any impending natural miscarriage so I will hopefully be scheduling a D&C for this week. My doctor really wants me to pass it at home with prescribed medication but I am opting not to do that as I have not read good things about it. I'm so sorry to hear this. Please take care of yourself. As someone who has previously had a loss, I just want to make sure that you know that there is a miscarriage and pregnancy loss board and a trying to conceive after a loss board where there are lots of supportive women who have also been through this, if you're looking to connect.

@JustBored10 I am so sorry for your loss. No matter how you choose to cope, I hope that you find a great support system. I did not participate much in the loss boards or TTCAL but I personally found it helpful just to read a lot of the posts. Ts & Ps for healing.
