I just need to know I am not alone! I'm having all day sickness... I haven't thrown up yet, but I literally feel hungover on a boat ALL DAY LONG. I was the same way with DD1, but this board seems to be full of ladies who are starving and not sick. That was me about 2 weeks ago, but now I feel freaking awful and can barely make it through the day much less take care of a toddler after a day of work... I need some company in my complaining!
Re: "Morning" Sickness...
I'm taking unisom + b6 and it's helping me function but I still feel like hell. My insurance denied Diclegis (which makes me RAGE, my boss is so mad after it covered exactly $0 for our IF that the whole company is switching in December) but it's the same as unisom and b6, just delayed release which would be rad. It still doesn't make me hungry, or make food appetizing or even bearable really..... But I make it to work so I count it as a win.
ETA I'm 6w2d and reallllly looking forward to the moment ms goes away....
Edit** because spellcheck likes zodiac better than zofran.

Children are like casseroles; it takes a lot to mess them up.
I wish I had a link to it but I read a story on NPR a few days ago where there was a recent study that showed higher levels of HCG in early pregnancy were linked to higher intelligence in children later on (they measured betas and then gave IQ tests to the children when they were around age 4-5), so if nothing else, you can be optimistic about the fact that you're probably having a normal, healthy pregnancy haha
I am starting to think I'm actually not pregnant, it's unreal until I see an u/s because everyone here seems to be so sick already.... :-(
ETA I get that you're nervous but please have some self-awareness and not torture us here. There is (or should be) another post that would be far more appropriate for you in that regard.
Night sickness is the worst for me though. I'm up every hour. No vomiting, but I have to walk around and splash cold water on my face to calm my stomach. I'm considering picking up Unisom at the store, so I can try to sleep through the night.

Unfortunately that was just the beginning - I woke up at 1AM and lost everything in my stomach
I'm trying to think of this as a positive thing since I did not throw up at all with my pregnancy last year....but it's hard to be upbeat when I'm so afraid to eat anything due to the ongoing nausea...
ETA: I still have Unisom and B6 from my first pregnancy...but I am trying so hard to not take anything unneeded this time...we'll see how long that lasts!!

So... when should I start to worry about the severity of morning sickness? I am down to basically one meal a day now. A sandwich takes me two sittings to eat if I want to kept it down. My stomach hurts all the time. I'm managing about one bottle of water and one glass of ginger ale a day as far as fluids. I was hoping to just soldier on until my first doctor's visit on the 24th but every day that goes by and I feel worse that feels farther away. Any STM with advice about when to call the doc?

Sorry just needed to let out some frustration.
You are not alone. I was like that with my DS and now it just struck me this week. Its miserable. You feel sick all the time but never get sick.
Eta the weight thing was a joke, just making sure ........
