Week: 15!

What's new with baby (size, development)? Baby is the size of a naval orange, is squirming around a lot (although I can't feel it

) , and is moving all his/her little limbs and joints.

What's something new you are doing to get ready for baby? Still just stocking up on diapers and wipes. I bought some onesies, a jacket, and a sleeper this weekend. We're starting on the nursery over Memorial Day weekend.

Rant/rave/symptoms/questions: RLP. Other than that I feel pretty good. My energy level is still pretty low.

GTKY: (Stolen from Sunday's) How did you meet your SO? We met my Freshman year in college. We were in the same Biology class and he sat next to me on the first day which automatically made us lab partners.

Week: 14. Hellooooo 2nd trimester

What's new with baby (size, development)? peach! baby's kidneys are making urine. coool

What's something new you are doing to get ready for baby? We figured out what diaper bag we want. That's it. Man this baby is really getting the shaft.

Rant/rave/symptoms/questions: Energy level still low. Headaches are a bitch.

What's new with baby (size, development)? about the size of a plum, 2 inches

What's something new you are doing to get ready for baby? nothing

Rant/rave/symptoms/questions: hormones seem to be calming down, I'm still tired but I think that just comes with having 2 toddlers. Also I weaned my daughter this week so my boobs hurrrrt

When is your next appointment? June 10?

GTKY: (Stolen from Sunday's) How did you and your so meet? we met online when we were 20, talked while I was on spring break, had our first date the day I came back to school, and never looked back.

What's new with baby (size, development)? Half a banana - baby is growing finger prints and can make facial expressions!

What's something new you are doing to get ready for baby? Nothing yet! We might go buy a second dresser for this baby's stuff. We might need another crib too. DS sleeps with us so I'm not sure if we need another crib, DS needs a toddler bed or what. Glad I still have months to figure this out.

Rant/rave/symptoms/questions: Huge rave - we just got QNatal results back from an abnormal 12 week scan and baby looks healthy! I'm so elated. We will probably announce in the next few weeks.

GTKY: (Stolen from Sunday's) How did you meet your SO? We met in college at a bar where he was playing a gig. He dedicated "feel like making love to me." He was quite the charmer

Week: 14! Goodbye first trimester!

What's new with baby (size, development)? The size of a peach

What's something new you are doing to get ready for baby? We finally told just about everyone we're close to. We're telling the last few tonight and then making social media announcement tomorrow probably. I also bought my first maternity clothes today. I needed a few more options to wear to work and something other than workout clothes to wear on the weekends.

Rant/rave/symptoms/questions: I have a terrible cold so I've been pretty miserable for about 4 days now. I finally have my voice back and my throat feels a little better, but now I'm super congestion. I know I just need to let it run its course, but I feel pretty awful. Usually I just take Nyquil and Sudafed all day, but this pregnancy stuff is throwing a huge wrench in my usual cold coping plan. I'm so thankful for DH. He's been so good to me while being sick and pregnant. Sorry that was all a rant, but I'm playing the I'm-sick-and-exhausted card today.

GTKY: (Stolen from Sunday's) How did you meet your SO? He was a friend of my best friend from high school. I was coming out of a long relationship and decided I needed to get away so I went to Florida to visit her. He came out to the bar to hang out with us my second night there. I had no idea he was interested because I wasn't looking for anything at that point. He hung out with us the entire next day and then we started chatting on social media when I got back home. We both knew within about 10 days that this was the real thing and we were going to get married. After many trips back and forth, I moved to Florida five months later. We've been together ever since.

What's new with baby (size, development)? Baby is the size of a mouse, peach or beet depending on where you look. Baby is busy building muscles, storing fat and wiggling around!

What's something new you are doing to get ready for baby? Still nothing. Told our staff last week that we're expecting and they're all pretty excited for us but we'll wait to do anything else until we know gender.

Rant/rave/symptoms/questions: Having some abdominal soreness today, like a sore stretching feeling in my skin and muscles so that's a good time. And while I have no nausea or morning sickness food just has no appeal to me at all right now; that is, until I cross that threshold from moderately hungry to STARVING and then I'll eat whatever is in front of me.

When is your next appointment? June 10th. I originally thought it was this week but I had my dates wrong and had my apt. last week. Baby is good, heartbeat was strong and he/she was wiggling around like crazy.

GTKY: (Stolen from Sunday's) How did you meet your SO? I met my H at his sister's wedding. I was a bridesmaid and he was a groomsman and the rest is a bad romantic comedy history!

What's new with baby (size, development)? Baby's legs are longer than their arms now, swallowing fluid to develop lungs, moving all over in there!

What's something new you are doing to get ready for baby? Helloooooo baby bump and maternity jeans!

Rant/rave/symptoms/questions: Feeling great!

When is your next appointment? The 24th and then we are doing an 3d ultra sound on our anniversary on the 25th! I can't wait to find out if it is a girl or boy!

GTKY: (Stolen from Sunday's) How did you meet your SO? We met in college and we both played volleyball. We dated all through school and are coming up on our 4th year of marriage. I am one lucky girl!

What's new with baby (size, development)? Kid is growing. It's getting harder to lie on my back.

What's something new you are doing to get ready for baby? Finish our basement reno!?!? A project that got started last November.

Rant/rave/symptoms/questions: Still nausea..... It's s l o w l y subsiding.

When is your next appointment? Next week whenever I make it.

What's new with baby (size, development)? Size of an orange; legs are growing longer; it's drinking fluids (and peeing)

What's something new you are doing to get ready for baby? Nothing major yet until we know gender and figure out if we are moving before baby arrives.

Rant/rave/symptoms/questions: My lower back and hips are hurting in the morning, so that's not super fun. Hopefully some stretches will help. On a good note, my morning sickness has been fading the last few days, and we made our "official announcement" this morning so it just becomes more real everyday. I also am starting to show a little bump

When is your next appointment? May 30th for a general check-up and scheduling the gender ultrasound.

GTKY: (Stolen from Sunday's) How did you meet your SO? We were set up by a mutual friend. Neither of us would agree to go on a blind date, so our first date was with said mutual friend, lol.
