Symptoms/raves/rants?
Symptoms: carpal tunnel, mid to lower back pain, swelling from knees down (very attractive), not sleeping well, pelvic pressure. You know, fun stuff.
Raves: Getting close and obviously I love feeling her wiggle around.
Rants: I really wish people would stop planning things for us to do. My IL's scheduled a dinner and a concert tomorrow night (black tie) and then we have DH's twin brothers wedding shower next weekend. I get it but for crying out loud, I really just want to stay home and relax.
Appointment update? OB today - he cancelled yesterday because he had an emergency section
Questions for the group? Not that I can think of. Just waiting on this girl now.
How is is your SO/DH doing these final weeks/days? He's doing really well; he's taking my grumpiness well and isn't getting too pissy with me (although he still does). I know that having a baby has sunk in for him but I don't think it's going to be a reality until she's here. Kind of along the lines of we are mothers the minute we know we are pregnant and get to bond with them for 9 months but they don't always become father's until they are holding their baby. He's going to be a great dad though.

Symptoms/raves/rants?
I've been eating so much in the last week or so. I ate an entire breakfast sampler at IHOP yesterday (never done that before), came home and promptly ate an entire carton of strawberries.
Appointment update?
Just had one yesterday (pre-IHOP), and we are good to go! Just waiting on LO to choose her birthday.

How is is your SO/DH doing these final weeks/days?
He's firm that he will "feel like a dad" as soon as I go into labor. However, I've noticed he's picked up the habit of picking up her blankets and rocking them in the last week or two, which I think might be the cutest thing I've ever seen him do.
How many weeks-38!
Symptoms-lots of pressure, cramping, low back pain, peeing all the freaking time, not sleeping.
Raves- Feeling her every move and her little feet/bony heels.
Appointment update- I was told I am "soft" and not closed anymorr but not a cm yet. Next appointment is next wed.
Questions-Not to complain but I feel like my boobs have a long way to go to be "ready" for BF. Anyone else not leaking or feeling heavy yet?
MY DH has been so sweet. cooking and dishes! And now that I have been told I am not "closed" anymore he is all excited thinking anytime now. Its so cute!
How many weeks/fruit? 38. Baby sized is exactly what I said to the hubs this morning.
Symptoms/raves/rants? Some periody cramps and low back pain. A good bit of leg discomfort and feet swelling.
I really had thought I would be having a baby today and I am clearly not, so it's hard to still be at work. They are throwing me a "surprise" shower today that I have known about for a week, so that'll be nice.
Appointment update? I had my 4th NST this morning and it was excellent. Doc was in and out kinda fast, but I had no questions and all was well, so...He offered to check for dilation, but I declined.

Anyone else have an induction date that they are trying to beat?
How is is your SO/DH doing these final weeks/days? He's been great. I kinda wish he was doing more around the house to prepare for the critter, but he has been sweet and supportive.

Symptoms/raves/rants?
Horrible insomnia (up at 3:30 am for the day and never did fall back asleep!), some contractions, headaches, hot flashes, still can't breathe (is this kid ever going to drop?!?!)
Appointment update?
I don't have an OB appointment until Tuesday afternoon (to schedule my induction hopefully!) and then a NST that evening

How is is your SO/DH doing these final weeks/days?
He's been amazing these past few days and weeks. He complained often about all of the house projects I had set up but now that everything is pretty much finished I think he's glad we did everything. He's been very active with the kids so I can rest more and has even been attending doctors appointments with me. It feels like I have a partner in this now. With our last baby, I felt so alone and didn't realize how distant our relationship had become until we connected again afterwards. Hopefully, things will stay this way. I'm completely happy with our marriage now!
39 weeks. A FREAKING PUMPKIN.
Symptoms/raves/rants?
Feeling weirdly awesome physically which makes me feel like I'm going to be pregnant forever. In the same boat as you @mrstmoose, I've had some "event" almost every day this week (birthday, awards for work, etc) and I just want to stay home with the dog and do nothing! Feeling very party-poopery, which I attribute to my crippling social anxiety and not being able to drink a glass of wine or two at these functions. Wine is magic!
Rave: I love being pregnant! Really excited, I can't believe that I'll be chilling with my mini in the next couple of weeks!
Rant: My family. We aren't super close and they live 3,000 miles away but I chat with my parents a couple times a month. They haven't mentioned the baby, sent a card, ANYTHING. I didn't expect them to fly all the way here for the shower but wish that they would be a *little* bit more involved. I'm not surprised, but I'm kind of bummed. I didn't realize it bothered me until MIL innocently asked if my family was excited and I was like

How is is your SO/DH doing these final weeks/days?
Great for the most part. He has been very helpful and sweet, we have been talking a lot about what we are excited about and scared of. He tries to show off my giant belly everywhere we go. However; I came home last week and he was cleaning the house like a maniac which was weird. Turns out he celebrated after work with his business partner (we got some great news!) and had a few too many beers. When he gets drunk he turns into the cuddliest, sweetest, sleepiest old man. Still, I gave him the stink eye and was like BRO I need you to be on point if this labor thing goes down. He ended up passing out shortly after and we had a little chat the next day. He felt super bad and promised to get his s**t together. I was like dude I've been not drinking and missing like all of the good cheeses and carrying around this baby alien so maybe you could just help a sister out by not going out with your buddies so hard the next few weeks? He drank a bit too much once before when he went to a concert, but I didn't think of it as much of a big deal since the baby wasn't so close to arrival. It's game time now!
