Trying to Get Pregnant

TWW Thursday!

Re: TWW Thursday!

  • Month/ Cycle: 1/1

    CD/DPO: 31/9

    Timing: -3 -2 +1

Testing: I gave in and POAS this morning, BFN. I'm undecided if I'm going to test again tomorrow as AF is due if my LP is 9 days again.

R/R/CS: Didn't start off today on a good note, H woke up cranky because I shut the window and then didn't bother to say goodbye so that made me super annoyed. However, new windows are being delivered today and my work day is short, so it's automatically a good day.

GTKY: Let's keep this simple. Salty/savory or sweet?? Sweet

    *Question in CS*

    Month/ Cycle: 4/4

    CD/DPO: 23/7

    Timing: -1

    Testing:  9DPO

R/R/CS: So I have some open circles... I'll come clean bout that now.  If you look at my chart in the siggy.. I am wondering if I really ovulated CD16 or CD20.  Would change everything. so I have two questions:
    1) What do you think CD 16 or CD20?
    2) I would only have +1 if CD 20 -- does that even count - I see we put it up for timing we say +1 if we have it - why is that? Would it even do any good to have +1?

GTKY: Let's keep this simple. Salty/savory or sweet??  Both - love to mix my cashews with m&ms... mouth is watering now.. ahh!

@cabu14 I still think CD16. Why do you have the open circles on CD18 and CD19? Like are you saying you think your temp should have been lower those days? In that case I could see an argument for CD20.

As far as +1, I think we include it just in case of O being slightly off, so it's not necessarily fertile. But the egg is viable for 12-24 hours, so depending what time you O and what time you HIO on +1, I guess it's technically possible? I've seen pregnancy charts on FF with only +1 timing, but of course it's hard to know the accuracy of other people's charts.

@sldp123 thanks!  CD 18 & 19 I temped one hour later than usual.  I'm not sure if that is enough to say they should be lower, I have no idea.

@cabu14 that's tough then. If I temp late, my temp is always up, but that doesn't mean it's the same for you. I think you'll probably just have to wait it out (yay, more waiting!) and see if/when you get AF.

  • @LadyBrettAshley23  My temp drop happens at a different time every cycle. It has happened as early as two days before I get my period and as late as the day after I get my period. It is a good sign that your temp is still high, but it's not necessarily an indication that you are pregnant.

@cabu14  Based on temps and CM, I would say CD 16. But most of your CM data is missing - does that mean it was dry the other days or you just didn't record it? If you just weren't recording it, then it's possible it wasn't CD 16.

I'm having a BSC moment..since I got the BFN this morning do you ladies think that I'm safe to get nitrous this afternoon at my dentist appointment?  I mean, it's negative until it's positive right?  ETA:  What would you ladies do?

Nevermind...I think AF is on it's way.  Just used the bathroom and there was pink when I wiped.

R/R/CS: I just got back from my OB appointment. Everything about me and my vagina look fine. She wants me to "relax and have fun with it" and it will happen. Obviously that made me like this:

If I'm not KU in four or five months she wants me to make another appointment to discuss options moving forward.

GTKY: Let's keep this simple. Salty/savory or sweet??
Salty/Sweet. I could eat chocolate covered pretzels all day, everyday.

  • @Lecool Of all the people to say that?! It seems like your OB should know better! And maybe it's just me (but I don't think it is) but "just having fun" isn't happening.
  • Update:  My Ob/Gyn called me back herself a couple minutes ago.  She said that she is unsure why I am feeling the way I am but she is willing to send me for lab work to check for pregnancy and my thyroid.  She was surprised that I could have ovulated on my own.  She also asked when I could have ovulated which I told her and she said that I would barely turn a HPT positive if I was indeed pregnant which I knew.   I asked if I could wait until Monday to see if I get AF on my own and go for blood work then.  She said absolutely and told me to call Monday after I take another HPT.

    CD/DPO: 18/6

    Timing: -3, -1, +1

Testing: I just bought my first HPT today, but I'm going to try to hold off until next Thursday if AF hasn't started.

R/R/CS: I'm new to this forum and though I've been reading everyone's posts, can someone please clarify this section? I'm guessing it's rave and rant, but can't figure out the CS. My rant is that the weather has been kind of cold and rainy in Chicago this past week and I'm soooo ready for it to be sunny and feel more spring-like.

GTKY: Let's keep this simple. Salty/savory or sweet?? Salty for me, though my DH has a major sweet tooth and likes to keep sweets around which I'll indulge in more than I should. A solid salty/sweet combo is also my downfall - @MooFish2364 I'm with you on loving chocolate covered pretzels.

R/R/CS: My period should be here Sunday, so I'll give it a little time... plus we're moving by mom's garage Sunday.

GTKY: Let's keep this simple. Salty/savory or sweet??
I'm with all of chocolate covered pretzel ladies! Or salted caramel. But if I must pick one, I chose salty. Oooooo tortilla chips, or pretzels.... apparently salty carbs is what I mostly want.

I have so much to say to people, but my phone doesn't really let me go back to remember who said what.
@kellybean1988 and @marriedhamstermom Sorry about your thyroid issues! I fear this a as a problem, but only because my dad had undiagnosed issues for a long time. I have no symptoms, I think. It's just irrational
  • @ElStar  R/R/CS stands for rant/rave/chart stalk. You can post questions about your chart and people will do their best to answer. Also, I live in Chicago too and I agree! I'm on vacation from work and I just want to go outside!

    savory, much prefer savory.

  • Month/cycle: 4/4 maybe 5? Something in there.

    CD/DPO: 24/3

timing/testing: 11DPO. My luteal phase is only 10 days, so if nothing comes at that point my chances are pretty good. Like clockwork, without fail... Will always come at 11 DPO.  I'm really negative this month, FF said I had "good" timing which translate to low probability.. My husband pulled a muscle doing yard work so put a damper on our timing.

Sweet/salty/savory: this depends on my mood, usually salty! Sometimes sweet, sometimes savory.

Yay! @DoctorDonna I'm so happy everything went well with the RE and the SA was excellent!
@kellybean1988 I'm sorry your having a hard time. I hope the dose this time will be perfect and you won't get many side effects when it's lowered!
@Kiki75 Sorry about the bfn. I feel the same way when I get a bfn. I try my best to think of all the things I can do now but then I'm just like 'I'd give all that up for life just to have a baby.'  Sending lots of virtual love and hugs your way.
@Lecool Ugh! That's so annoying to hear! Your OB should know better!

Same here. I'm trying to stay positive, but I don't know that it's going to happen. I'm so used to seeing BFNs, I'm not sure how I'll react to a BFP at this point.
