GTKY: If you have the opportunity to go back in time and change one thing, what would that be? (The change can be in your own history or the world's history.)
WAYDTGKTFU: PNV, temping, monitoring CM and CP, acupuncture, and all the sex
R/R/CS: Spent most of last night at the ER. Everything has been crazy stressful lately, and my anxiety issues have become more of a problem this week. I started having chest pains and my left arm went numb, so DH made me go to the hospital. It ended up being minor. They just gave me some clot busting drug and told me to start a daily aspirin regimen along with avoing anything strenuous or stressful.
GTKY: If you have the opportunity to go back in time and change one thing, what would that be? (The change can be in your own history or the world's history.)
And here I don't have a good answer to my own GTKY... It's so hard to pick just one thing to change!
GTKY: If you have the opportunity to go back in time and change one thing, what would that be? (The change can be in your own history or the world's history.) Nope. I'm not gonna be that asshole who tries to make things better and fucks up history even more than it already is. Plus I can't learn if I haven't done anything to learn from.
WAYDTGKU: Nothing at all this cycle, BD when it happens
R/R/CS: Since I'm not temping this cycle, when do I move myself to the TWW? I've charted some CM so I had an idea of when my FW was, I just don't know when an exceptable time for me to love would be considered by the P community?
GTKY: Geez. I don't know how I subscribe to the idea of changing the past because I like to live regret free - but I guess I can't ignore any act of genocide? I can't pick one over another, but I would change one of them. Maybe the Holocaust or some equivalent.
@Kay6519 - Oh my gracious, I'm sorry! I hope you feel better and take care of yourself. ❤️
@Kay6519 i'm so sorry! i hope you're feeling better. be kind to yourself today! do what makes YOU feel good!
Month/Cycle: 7/5
CD: 2
WAYDTGKU: Metformin, Clomid + Ovidrel, HIO
R/R/CS: Well, my husband picked up (what was supposed to be) my prescription of Clomid yesterday because I didn't get home until 9 or so. Turns out the pharmacy filled the wrong prescription! He came home with Letrozole instead of Clomid, and by the time I got home and noticed it, the pharmacy was closed. I just burst into tears lol. (I don't respond at all to Letrozole and need the Clomid.) I was having such a stressful evening and I'm on the period from hell, so that just put me over the edge. I've been an emotional basket case lately...I wonder if the Clomid has any effect on how severe menstrual cycles are??
GTKY: I don't know. In my own past? Nothing - I am who I am today because of the mistakes I've made, and life is richer because of it.
R/R/CS: Welp, FF took my CH away after a temp drop yesterday so I am back here (wasn't totally convinced I O'd anyway). Saw my OBGYN yesterday and got a referral to an RE. My consult appointment is scheduled for next Thursday. Really looking forward to getting some answers and help with shorter cycles.
GTKY: I agree with @irohspupil and will be an a-hole with her. I wouldn't change a thing. This is a quote I use for me & H: "I feel like everything in my life has led me to you. My choices, my heartbreaks, my regrets. Everything. And when we're together, my past seems worth it. Because if I had done one thing differently, I might have never met you."
WAYDTGKTFU: Green tea, HIO EOD, OPKs starting on Saturday
R/R/CS: Not much today! Had an awesome boot camp this morning and feeling motivated today. Happy Thursday!
GTKY: If you have the opportunity to go back in time and change one thing, what would that be? (The change can be in your own history or the world's history.) No idea. This does remind me of GoT, though. The idea that someone might have something to do with affecting history... (Not going to spoil anything for anyone who may not be caught up. There are some theories about some things, though, that I'm intrigued by...)
@khbear - I'm not temping either but I will be doing OPKs, so once I change an OPK, I'll head over. Most people take a good guess and then move over. If you've noticed a change in CM and it went from non-fertile to fertile and back to non-fertile, move over then. I hope that makes sense!
Months / Cycle: 4/4 CD: 5 WAYDTGKTFU: OPK, CM, SHOW, RLT, PNV, yoga R/R/CS: I had a "free month" of no worries for health and wellness last month (since I was going a bit BSC the month before). Up 15 pounds, YIKES. Hitting the reset button today. GTKY: If you have the opportunity to go back in time and change one thing, what would that be? (The change can be in your own history or the world's history.) TW Pet Loss - I would give my childhood dog a bath the last weekend I saw him. I was the only one who he trusted to do it (Great Dane/German Shepherd mix). My parents didn't tell me that he would probably be put down before I could visit from college again, and he was euthanized the following weekend when he couldn't stand up anymore. That last bath would give him just a wee bit of dignity in his final days but I was too busy
WAYDTGKTFU: Nothing right now as my uterus is falling out.
R/R/CS: I also spent most of last night in the ER. Ive had strep for the past few weeks that seeded into my throat and caused an abscess. *tw: breastfeeding* Although my throat hurts like none other and I will probably need to have it lanced by an ENT today, I am most sad that I have to stop nursing my toddler because of the meds I'm on. I don't get much when I pump anymore so that won't save my supply. His cries last night were heart wrenching and I could hear my husband over the monitor telling him how much mommy loves him and how sorry she is. It's really hard for me as our breastfeeding journey has been full of struggles and accomplishment and is now abruptly over because I'm sick. I feel sad for him.
GTKY: If you have the opportunity to go back in time and change one thing, what would that be? (The change can be in your own history or the world's history.). I guess I wouldn't change a thing in my personal life. I love where I'm at and respect where I've been.
R/R/CS: Went to the RE's this morning. Zero growth from Monday. Their having me start Letrozole again tonight for 5 days. I sat in the room while the nurse consulted with the other nurses, and held back tears. Why does it have to be so hard?! I mean, I guess it's positive that I responded by producing some eggs, but I think it's completely negative that they are barely growing. I guess we'll see how they look on Tuesday when I go back. @sammajane19 Guess we're in an emotional state* together huh? When you were on Letrozole, did you have any egg production? Or did you go through them not growing? (If you don't mind my asking).
GTKY: If you have the opportunity to go back in time and change one thing, what would that be? (The change can be in your own history or the world's history.) Blah.
@mrsdaddario *hugs* I'm so sorry there was no growth. I'm happy they are putting you back on the medication to see what happens between now and Tuesday. I'm keeping everything crossed that there is growth at your Tuesday appointment!

I would go back to high school and reach out for help from my peers and teachers when I was needing it. R/R/CS: So my period has been getting shorter. I've always had 4-5 day periods starting light, going to heavy, and then back to light. Lately I've been having periods where I immediately get 2 days of super heavy and then 1 day of light and then it's just over. Even when I was on HBC years ago I never had such short periods. What gives? Is this normal? Have any of you experienced this?
GTKY: If you have the opportunity to go back in time and change one thing, what would that be? (The change can be in your own history or the world's history.) Sweet lord that's a big question. I guess I would go back and make sure Hitler got admitted to art school (some may not know that he was rejected from art school) so that he would go into the arts instead of politics...
R/R/CS: Ugh. I was 100% sure I ovulated yesterday. All the signs pointed to that. And then my temp did not go up at all today. I cannot keep having bad sex. I don't know what to think or do. I might just count this cycle out and just live my life and wait and see. It was only our first cycle trying anyway. Today was supposed to be a fun day hanging out with my SIL and her baby, hitting up some garage sales and stuff. Now I'm just in a bad mood.
GTKY: If you have the opportunity to go back in time and change one thing, what would that be? (The change can be in your own history or the world's history.) I don't know. I wouldn't really want to waste this on something in my own life, because I am turning out fine. I would probably stop something bad from happening in history. To early and annoyed for this right now.

@sammajane19 I'm sorry. I have a tendency to freak out over other's mistakes when I'm on my period. I'm sure I'm not the funnest person to be around. Just take some deep breaths.

@Kenya715 - Thanks! This is my first cycle not temping since joining TB. I've honestly barely posted so far because I felt so disconnected from the threads. We sort of are NTNP this cycle anyway, so I don't even know if I'm "WAITING" to ovulate so much as I'm pre-O. /ramble
@TheJerilu - Aw ❤️ I'm sure he felt the love either way.
@mrsdadario - I'm so sorry you're stressed. I have all the things crossed for you.
@antato - Good one for the GTKY. Also, I have phases of cycles where I have two mega heavy days followed by a light day and then a day of spotting. Then I go back to longer periods. I don't have an explanation for it, but I do experience it.
@mrsstuessy - Oh gracious I'm sorry! I'm all for taking a break from sex if you need to. If I'm not into it or DH is too tired from work, we skip. Granted I'm not KH yet, but I don't want us to be miserable when it comes to the bedroom. Take a break if y'all need it!!
WAYDTGKTFU: pnv, coQ10, just started omega 3 and Dha yesterday, sex eod until confirmed ovulation...
R/R/CS: oh my word the cramps I had last night almost had me in tears!!! I'm hoping they had to do with ovulation (I got a pos opk two days ago and I'm waiting to see if my temps confirm). WAYDTGKTFU: Time to get serious with Temping and actually make it part of my routine, Green Tea, RRL & PNV, Diet & Exercise
R/R/CS: As I mentioned above it's been a crazy few weeks. My home town was evacuated due to a forest fire leaving many of my friends and family without anywhere to go. My dad was one of the unlucky ones who lost everything they owned. To say that it's been an emotionally draining week would be an understatement.
GTKY: If you have the opportunity to go back in time and change one thing, what would that be? (The change can be in your own history or the world's history.)

@Kay6519 Yikes! That sounds scary, good thing he made you go. Hope you are feel better today. @khbear When you were temping, was there a generally time you would O? If you have regular cycle you can move over whenever you think you O'd or if other signs are pointing in that direction. Or you can just hang out here, that's cool too. @sammajane19 Oh no! Hope they are able to get it all straightened out today. @Steelerfan78 That's great that you finally got your appointment! FX everything goes well and you get some answers finally @Kenya715 Way to go on the boot camp! I admire your motivation. @clover28 Yikes, that's scary. FX you start feeling better soon. @mrsdaddario I'm so sorry, that sucks! Hopefully this does the trick and you get better news at your next appointment. @antoto I wonder about that too. My period has definitely lightened up over time. I get one heavy day and then spotting or really light for the rest. Let me know if you find anything out! @mrsstuessy I hate when that happens! Damn FF just likes to ruin our days sometimes. FX you get your temp rise tomorrow. @1017Shannon FX you O soon! Sorry you had such bad cramps. @Zoey1019 It only takes one time, hopefully it was worth it! @MrsRoss89 I'm so sorry you and your family are going through that. Do you live in Canada? GTKY: If you have the opportunity to go back in time and change one thing, what would that be? (The change can be in your own history or the world's history.)
TW- Loss Mentioned The only thing I would change is to go back and spend as much time with my parents as possible. I didn't know their time on this earth would be so short.
mrsdaddario i wish i could answer you, but i don't know! my RE never talked about my egg production; not once. i only know that my follicles didn't respond well at all; even when i was put on another five days at a higher dose. there was very minimal/no growth. so i was immediately switched to clomid - and of course, that worked. but girllll i absolutely know how you feel. why does it have to be this hard?! it SHOULD be easy. i hope you respond to your second dose! my fingers are crossed for you. if not, remember, there are always other options, and you WILL find something that works for you.
mrsstuessy thanks. i'm not usually this emotional during AF, but this month it's been beastly.
WAYDTGKTFU: Added B6 and started ten days of that plus Mucinex, as per doctor's request. Probably go in for my first stick on Saturday...
R/R/CS: FW is upon us! I basically told DH I want to max it out this time so... we shall see! ++ETA++ Grandma went into home hospice at my aunt's house, so if you could keep her and the family in T&P would be appreciated... :( +++
GTKY: So hard, but if I had to look at recent history in our own lifetimes, I would say if they had used the intelligence or whatever to apprehend the hijackers from 9/11 and have just prevented that whole awful thing. I hate to say it, but I think the government uses awful situations like that as an excuse to exert more power, more control, and then you get all the extra surveillance into ordinary people's lives who are minding their own business, TSA, and overuse of police authority, where they can even forcibly take your blood in some situations, or just take your money if they decide you have too much cash on you! It's crazy the things about life that millennials just take for granted, but I remember when they weren't always like this. We lost so many innocent lives that day, and signed over so many of our freedoms since then, and I think if that all could have been prevented, the world would be a very different place today.
WAYDTGKTFU: pnv's, vitamin D Supplement, opks, temping...we are prob done with sex for the FW as I'm confident based off opks, and other signs that O is today and OH is working 24 hour shift so we aren't able to get another BD session in
R/R/CS: my chart is terrible this month. Open ended circles, up and down. My sleeping has been so erratic so there's not much I can do about it. I woke up at 3:51 am today and couldn't go back to sleep.
GTKY: If you have the opportunity to go back in time and change one thing, what would that be? (The change can be in your own history or the world's history.).
debbie downer here - but I prob would go back to the week my mom passed; I didn't go see her that sunday bc I was going to go see her Wednesday the day of her scheduled surgery and she passed Monday
@Marley629 I'm so sorry about that, with your mom. That is tough, but at least you know as far as she is concerned, maybe it doesn't matter so much anymore the exact last time you saw her. You carry her in your heart regardless and she is with you always. I feel that way too sometimes about my dad's passing - I was there at the hospital, but I had stepped out to walk around the lobby at like 3AM and get these fresh pastries from the caf my mom was raving about. When I came back up to the room, my mom and brother were asleep; I'd like to tell myself that I saw him breath one last breath, but I might have been seeing things. I don't really know, but anyway, what matters is we all came together as a family and were there for each other, and he was finally at peace. ((hugs)) I still feel him with me especially this time of year when you start to see so many flowers in bloom. :)
@khbear I think you
can move over once you are confident that you O'd. I will say the longer you
hold out, the longer the craziness of the TWW will stay at bay.

GTKY: I also choose not to change anything.
Although not totally on board with the whole "everything happens for a

and if I changed one negative thing, who's to say something different but
comparably bad, or worse would not have happened.

@DoctorDonna SO MUCH EASIER! Hardly having any cravings! Getting in a meal routine and starting to feel good/have more energy. I even had to go out for dinner with work people Tuesday night and found compliant stuff on the buffet (salad with no dressing, steamed veggies, pork roast and fruit for dessert). I was a bit grumpy about missing all the good stuff (open bar and dessert for miles!) and having to explain why I wasn't eating everything. But once I explained it to everyone they were pretty good about it and I felt great after, where normally I would have over-ate and regretted it/felt like crap.

The only thing I would think about changing in my life is taking things a little slower. I took advanced classes all through high school while working a part time job (full time in the summer), then got my undergrad in 3 years and started grad school immediately. Now I'm on track to get my PhD a year early. Now that I'm near the end, I'm not sure if it was worth it just to be done a few years earlier.

No idea.

TW Pet Loss - I would give my childhood dog a bath the last weekend I saw him.
