Ay ay ay what have my words started? Its all good. Everyone's supply is good. We are all wonderful people and we will have messy deliveries which will produce beautiful babies.
Slight change of topic? Here in Germany it's a thing to eat shredded flaxseed or flaxseed oil to induce labour. It helps your bowels to move, which are right next to...right! the uterus . The bowel movement is supposed to stimulate the uterus, which can cause labour. But I guess spicy food will do the same job. I just don't like it too spicy, so I eat like 2-3 teaspoons of flaxseeds a day (but don't eat too much as it can cause diarrhea!), and as they swell up in your stomach, it's good to drink a lot of water with it...or pineapple juice
Speaking of sex to induce labor....DH and I have been doing it every day this week to get things going and last night he wasn't very into it and I asked what was wrong and he slowly responds, "Umm, I can feel something poking me hard and it doesn't feel good!" I started laughing and was so relieved because that means LO has dropped even lower since yesterday. I've had 3 membrane sweeps this week and my doctor says she is very low and can feel her butt because she's frank breech.
We'll see if I have any luck getting DH to have more sex with me haha! He was pretty weirded out.
I went out and bought some red raspberry leaf tea and evening primrose oil on my lunch break today, but I think I'm going to wait until tomorrow night (tomorrow is my last day in the office) to try either of them...just in case.
Ate a pound and a half of it for lunch today....not a single twinge in the baby department....but HOLY SUGAR BURN. My lips are puffy and my tongue is bleeding....
probably should rethink my plan for Indian for dinner....
Well, the stress of my last three days at work (Mon-Weds) next week might just send me into labor! The Book Fair is happening, which is normally mostly handled by PTO and I just help out, but suddenly all the PTO volunteers have personal crises and it's been dropped entirely in my (nine-months-pregnant) lap. Joy.
High levels of irritation at work can induce labor, right??

I ate a whole pineapple the other day and it burnt a whole in my tongue. Never again!

Where in Germany are you? I'm near Leipzig and overdue. These daily NST appointments are driving me nuts!!
I will be walking a mile with my freshly pedicured toes after work today.... and if that doesn't do anything then I will walk a mile after dinner as well. If that doesn't do anything I will probably cry and eat ice cream while bouncing on my stupid ball

I love book fair week!! You can do it! We had our book fair the last week I was at work and although I know there will be moments when you'll want to hurt a child, you'll feel accomplished at the end. Just don't buy 4 copies of "I Wish You More" along with 5 other random books like I did. In my defense I'm hoping to use the books as graduation and birthday gifts. At least that's what I told my husband.

I've heard stress can delay labor - baby doesn't want to come out in an unsafe environment. I hope that the book fair isn't that bad though and you can have some fun, sounds super obnoxious to have that dumped on you though!

Pretty sure I'm starting this routine this weekend. Lord help my already insanely swollen calves, ankles and feet. I'll look like this walking:

I'm close to Bielefeld, but luckily not overdue yet (39+2)! How annoying, fingers crossed that labour will start soon! For both of us!
Well my husband made it home finally from Korea for his midtour. So we tried sex last night...and, ugh, it was fine but the contractions afterwards sucked! It also did not put me into labor. I've had so many false labor episodes that I'm beginning to think I might have to be induced for labor to come on full strength. Mucous plug is still firmly in place after having my membranes stripped....Here's to 12 hours at the clinic on my feet putting me into labor! but I'm pretty sure it's wishful thinking for today
Re: What home remedies are you trying to "induce" labor? :-)
