Re: TWW Wednesday
CD/DPO: 23/8
Timing: -2, -1
Testing: Sunday if no AF
R/R/CS: My AF cramps are gone this morning, so I have convinced myself they were implementation cramps. And then I have an abnormal (for me) amount of creamy CM. So clearly, I am KU. Come on, Sunday.
GTKY: I went right to a 4 year university, and while I don't regret it (I felt like I got a great education & met my H), I wish I had done 2 years at a community college first because STUDENT LOANS. Enough said.
CD/DPO: 17/4
Timing: IUI
Testing: Next Saturday, which might as well be two years away.
R/R/CS: I'm grumpy today. DH stayed up late watching the hockey playoff game. (Note: "late" to me on a week night is anything past like, 10pm). Anyway, when he came to bed at like 11:30 he woke me up to tell me that the Penguins won, and he knows I don't even care about hockey. I was so irritated, then I couldn't fall back asleep.
GTKY: What did you do after high school? Community college, 4 year, right to work, certificate program, Peace Corps? If you could go back in time, would you take the same path? I went to a 4-year college. Actually was supposed to be 6-year, I had pre-acceptance into the pharmacy program at the college I chose. But like halfway through freshman year, I decided it was going to be too hard I didn't want to apply myself, so I changed majors and did a 4-year program. If I could go back in time, yes I would have definitely stuck it out. When I was 18, 6 years sounded like a lifetime, and now I'm like, I could have totally handled it and been much better off financially a lot earlier.

R/R/CS: This isn't a rant even though it sounds like one--I am a short on cash this month due to unforeseen home repairs, SO I won't be renewing my FF VIP. This is great during the TWW for me because it is keeping the BSC at bay!!
GTKY: What did you do after high school? Community college, 4 year, right to work, certificate program, Peace Corps? If you could go back in time, would you take the same path?
After high school, I went straight to a 4 year liberal arts school and got a bachelor's in music performance (viola). Then from there I went straight to grad school at a big conservatory to get a master's in the same thing. I work in university admissions now--if I had to do it over, I still think I'd go to the same type of schools (minus the conservatory) but would study something like communications--I am not cut out for the freelance music world!

College a million times, worked odd jobs throughout. I wish I never went back to school the last time. My ex told me I needed a career that should have been a red flag. I don't regret the degree, only the debt!

Testing: if late
R/R/CS: If anyone can help me with a CS I would really appreciate it. It's only my second month temping and last month my chart was exactly like I expected but this month it's all over the place. Had a temp dip past cover line today but AF isn't due to start for a week. Last month the temp dip came the day before AF. I had O pain from CD 13 to 15 and I have some of my usual TWW symptoms but not all. I'm wondering now if I O'ed at all since temps never got as high as last month?
My chart link - hope it workshttps://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/61329e
GTKY: So I am in medicine plus I migrated to the US after university and had to do a lot of things again over here so let me just say many years of school, mixed in with a few years working and a year and a half spent just taking exams. Only finished last year and I turned 33 this year. If I could go back I'd do something that takes less schooling and you still make more money and can maybe work from home like something IT related.

R/R/CS: Not much today, just wishing it was tuesday already come on! I have a love/hate relationship with TWW, I love when I get to "go here" but I hate it after like 30 seconds. Time just drags by...

**TW pregnancy mentioned**
I went to a 4 year college but struggled a lot. I moved around majors a bunch and changed schools a few times. It was a rough time for me. My parents just split up and were really putting me in the middle of it which was not good for me emotionally. I dealt with it by goofing off with my friends a lot and not going to class. I had a ton of credits but nothing equalling a degree as different schools had different methods like trimesters, semesters, quarters. and varying degree paths. So when I was 22 and should have graduated I came home and found a job. I was actually really good at this job it was low level IT, in the helpdesk, but it made me realize that I did have potential and was very smart and capable. But that it was hard to make it on such low wage and no degree. So I started going to school online while working fulltime. I got both my associates and bachelors degrees while moving up internally with my company along the way.
While I was almost done with my bachelors I got pregnant with my DS. I gave birth to him right before my last quarter of school. I was on maternity leave with a newborn while finishing that last quarter of college. Completing that was one of my greatest accomplishments and I really feel like a big part of the motivation was for my son. So he could see when he grows up that you should never give up. No matter how much longer something may take you than everyone else.
I have always regretted not being able to complete school like most people. HS, then 4yrs of college and then degree. If I could go back I would probably start at community college. But the struggle and experience I went through made me who I am today so I am proud of that.

Testing: Probably 8dpo (Monday). I waited until 12 DPO last cycle and I found that getting a BFN on 12 DPO was a way harder pill to swallow than getting them earlier. An early BFN takes me off the BSC train early at least.
R/R/CS: Got my CH this morning so I’m happy about that. This cycle is the first time we have ever done BD twice on O day so I’m pretty pumped about that!
GTKY: What did you do after high school? I went to college in the U.S., so after college I moved back to Canada and started working right away. I think I was home 2 weeks before I started getting really bored. I’ve never not gone to school or worked so I was incredible bored. Been working my way up the corporate ladder ever since. Boring I know but I wouldn't change one thing about it. I'm a firm believer that every decision I've made throughout my life has led me to where I am today and where I am today is a good place.

R/R/CS: I still feel crappy. I can't wait to test tomorrow so I can call the doctor and figure out what's going on with me. I'm having a rough day as well. One of DH's friends just had a baby last night. I am completely jealous, heart broken, envious, sad, etc. I know that's completely BSC because we just started TTC again but I can't help it. I have wanted another baby for so long and they just got married. It's not fair. (I know I sound like a 3 year old). I'll get over it. I'm faking being excited for them right now but I'm trying to be legit excited.
GTKY: What did you do after high school? Community college, 4 year, right to work, certificate program, Peace Corps? If you could go back in time, would you take the same path? I did the 4 year thing. My parents told me that if I lived at home, working part time and went to a state school they would pay for school. So that's what I did. I took some time off between getting my Bachelor's and my Master's though.

@sldp123 I totally know what you mean about 6 years feeling so long when your 18. I hated being forced to make such huge decisions about my life when I was 18. I was still a kid or at least I felt like it. I changed my major twice. Lots of kids just don’t know what they want to do at that age. Sometimes I still don’t know!
@kellybean1988 That’s so cool that you’re musically inclined, I wish I was. I was just a jock! Lol

CD/DPO: 27/13? (I said 13 yesterday, but I must have guessed my O date incorrectly)
Timing: Wasn't keeping track (NTNP)
Testing: First of all, thanks to everyone who crossed their fingers for me yesterday! Today I got a BFN, but the test was weird again. I had one vertical line but the dye was also streaked horizontally. It still looked like a clear BFN, though, so I didn't go crazy and take more tests. I'll just wait until the weekend now if my period doesn't come before that.
R/R/CS: Oh, I suppose see above.
GTKY: What did you do after high school? Community college, 4 year, right to work, certificate program, Peace Corps? If you could go back in time, would you take the same path?
4 year college. I picked an inexpensive public school that also gave me quite a bit in scholarships, so I was able to graduate without debt. So I don't regret it. I then did an accelerated one-year Master's program and had loans from that, but it's been about 10.5 months since I graduated and I have it almost all paid off! For those of you trying to pay off student loans - you can do it! Neither H nor I have full-time jobs and we hardly make any money, but we're still doing it! (I realize this makes it seem a little irresponsible for us to be trying for a baby lol - H does start his first full-time job next month.)
Month/ Cycle: 1/1
CD/DPO: 15/ 2
Timing: -3 and 0
Testing: we will see if I can wait for my period or not, last time I used up alot of tests....
R/R/CS: Sooo this is probably way to much tmi, so stop reading now if you do not like that kind of stuff but I have to talk to somebody about this. I think i have jock itch, I first thought it was chafing, so put lotion on the red spots but now it is spreading all on long my underwear line and I freaked out. I looked up online and it looks like what I have is what I have is jock itch, which is a type of fungus. I am putting medicine on it now,but now I feel soo dirty and a itchy. It is soo not my fault though, my school has no airconditioning!!! and we live in a semi arid desert it gets hot!!, But god for bid we raise the taxes so we can put airconditiong in our school when it gets above 100 all the time here. So there is only so much I can do. And I read people are like you should wear skirts and dresses, well I need to wear shorts under them or I get chaffing soo there goes that whole keeping the goods having airflow. I already wear only cotton underwear. I feel soo nasty and apparently I should not have sex. Bah... so there is my disgusting rant for the day.
GTKY: What did you do after high school? Community college, 4 year, right to work, certificate program, Peace Corps? If you could go back in time, would you take the same path? 4 year college, I think I might have not chosen teaching, teaching is horrible now with the focus on testing and blaming everything on teachers. Still love the kids it is everything else I hate.

GTKY: What did you do after high school? Community college, 4 year, right to work, certificate program, Peace Corps? If you could go back in time, would you take the same path? I went to 4-year college then directly to grad school. I would probably do the same thing except I would try to do study abroad or travel more during the summers.
Month/Cycle: 1/1
CD/DPO: 14/3
Timing: Good
Testing: I was going to wait until Sunday the 22, but I might try on Friday and Saturday. I am supposed to give blood Saturday and if I'm pregnant, that's probably a bad game plan. I may cancel the appointment anyway to be safe.
R/R/CS: FF confirmed ovulation for Sunday, since I got my 3 raised temps, but I already knew I had ovulated. I felt it when it was happening and then got some ovulation bleeding after. If I'm lucky, I may have a tiny little zygote moving down my Fallopian tube as we speak.
I like to imagine it and try to think positive thoughts. Even if I get my period, there's no harm in letting myself feel happy right now. I used to be the type to think negative thoughts in order to keep my hopes from getting too high. Now, I try to think positively, but still be realistic. I'm a happier person all around this way.
GTKY: What did you do after high school? Community college, 4 year, right to work, certificate program, Peace Corps? If you could go back in time, would you take the same path?
Immediately after high school, I did nothing. I always knew I wanted to go to the university close to my house and be a teacher, but no one told me how to apply or what to do from there. Then, the summer after I graduated, I decided I should check into college. I signed up for the ACT on the campus for the next week. I got my scores that day, went to the admissions office for an application, and the lady there told me to fill it out right there. She said it was walk-in enrollment day, and as long as my scores were high enough on my ACT, I could get in. I left that day with my student ID and class schedule. It all happened so fast, once I stopped wasting time.
I did a similar thing with grad school. I decided on a whim to apply, and I started the next semester. I graduated with my master's in December of 2014. I plan to get one more master's before I get my Ph.D.

GTKY: What did you do after high school? Community college, 4 year, right to work, certificate program, Peace Corps? If you could go back in time, would you take the same path?
I did a 5 year bachelors degree which included a year of co-op. I wouldn't change that part since I met DH bc of it but I should have stuck out 1 more year to do my masters. At the time I was done with school and wanted to work. Now I wish I was in school again!

GTKY: What did you do after high school? Community college, 4 year, right to work, certificate program, Peace Corps? If you could go back in time, would you take the same path? I went right to college at a school I didn't like, so I transferred home and went to community college for a year. After that, I went to a good school close to home and finished on time. So it started out bumpy, but I did really well after that. Then I took about a year and a half to figure out what I wanted to do before going to grad school, which took three semesters. I had a couple of great jobs over the next several years, but I wasn't terribly fulfilled, so about four years ago I took an accelerated teacher certification program, and I've now been teaching high school English for three years. I would probably do a lot of things differently if I had it all to do over again, but ultimately, it led me to a wonderful place in life, so I'm happy. I think I would have benefited enormously from a gap year right after high school, though. I went away to school quite young, and I could have done with some maturing.

GTKY: What did you do after high school? Community college, 4 year, right to work, certificate program, Peace Corps? If you could go back in time, would you take the same path?
Right after high school I went to school to be a hair stylist. Once I started working I realized I hated it and definitely needed a new career path. I got my AAS and right now I'm working on getting my bachelors online. I do wish after high school I would have gone the 4 year college route right away, but I didn't really know what I wanted to do. Maybe even taking a year off would have been good. I hate that they push you to decide what you want to do right after high school! At 18 I had no idea.

GTKY: What did you do after high school? Community college, 4 year, right to work, certificate program, Peace Corps? If you could go back in time, would you take the same path?
I went to community college for two years and chipped away at my general ed classes, because I couldn't afford to go to the expensive, private art school that I eventually attended. I worked two jobs so that I could afford to pay for classes in cash so that I wouldn't have to take out any loans. Once I got as far as I could there, I transferred to art school and completed my Bachelor's and took out loans like it was my job.

GTKY: What did you do after high school? Community college, 4 year, right to work, certificate program, Peace Corps? If you could go back in time, would you take the same path?
I went straight to working and going to a community college, technically I started both before I even finished high school. I wasn't very focused when it came to my course schedule and took several classes for enjoyment rather than necessity. If I could do it again I would have stuck to only what was required for my associates degree and then gone to nursing school like I had planned. However, I do wonder if I would have still met H and been able to spend as much time as I did with my grandpa before he passed away had I changed my path. As it is now, I have my associates degree but haven't done anything with it as I've had the same job for 10 years (need a new job!!).
CD/DPO: 1dpiui
Timing: -2, O (2x -- IUI and BD)
Testing: nope
R/R/CS: I am just glad the IUI is over and that DH and I could still BD last night just to get a few more swimmers up in there! My RE suggested that we set up an IVF consult for a couple days after when I should get AF (if I am not pregnant) so we agreed. Fingers crossed we don't have to go that route because I REALLY don't want to spend all that money!
GTKY: What did you do after high school? Community college, 4 year, right to work, certificate program, Peace Corps? If you could go back in time, would you take the same path? I went away to college right after high school but only stayed at that particular school for a year and half and then moved and finished my degree at a different university. If I could go back in time I probably would have done the same thing. Even though I left the first school I still learned a lot and became very independent during my time there. No regrets!

@MonaLisaRalphio I hope your temp drop was a fluke and it continues to rise
@MamaMunn It's great you were able to get to the TWW!
@Lecool I hope tomorrow's appointment is productive and you get some answers
Month/Cycle: 3/3
CD/DPO: 31/12
Timing: -6, -3, -1, +1
Testing: Every day until Friday
R/R/CS: My DH leave tomorrow for a four day trip. I've found two shows I plan to binge through and there's a good chance I won't leave my house.
GTKY: I went to a college six hours away from my hometown after graduation and wouldn't change the timing; however, I wish I had been more educated in the consequences of student loans. I feel like they're never going to go away. My DH works for the university and I had the opportunity to go back to school without having to pay tuition. Four years after my undergrad, I enrolled in grad school and received my masters in social work.
@sldp123 My H does stuff like that. He works graveyard - so he's awake all night - and I work very early in the mornings, and he'll come in at 2 in the morning (only an hour and a half before I have to get up for work) and starts talking to me about something he just thought of. I'm just like, I love you, but GO AWAY.
@safire3 It looks like you O'd to me. A single dip below CL isn't too much to worry about. Wondering if maybe you O'd on CD13 instead though? If you did - then that would lower your CL and today's temp would still be above it. It's hard to tell without CM/OPKs sometimes!
@lisswastaken and @Steelerfan78Happy birthday!

@marriedhamstermom & @KristoWillo Sorry about the BFNs
@Dilynne I wish I had your willpower and could just not test! Teach me!
@MonaLisaRalphio Sorry about the BFN
@MamaMunn I totally agree with the whole pushing you to decide what you want to do with the entire rest of your life when you’re still a kid! I even took a year off and didn’t go to my 4-year college until I was 19. Even at 19 I didn’t know what I wanted to do! Luckily everything worked out and I have a career I love but it’s so much pressure to make those decisions at such a young age.
@Lecool Oh yay for your appointment. Let us know (if you feel comfortable) how it goes and if ya learn anything new! Good luck!
@LittleChick2 Hump day! Whoop whoop!!!
@teamginger13 FX that you don’t have to go the IVF route! I hope this is your month!
@loveinak Gotta love a good TV binge when the DH leaves for a couple of days! Enjoy!
