Howdy! Thought I'd start a thread for all of us 2nd half of the month testers! All are welcome - regardless of if you're doing a Beta or POAS

I'll create a google doc (similar to the one I made on the May IUI thread) to track who is testing when & what the results are. Please share your testing date & treatment method.

I'm doing IUI & I'll be POAS starting May 16th.

Hey @Monica54321, is it too early for me to join? It's looking like my IUI will be 5/9 so I'll do HPT on 5/23. I can update these dates if anything changes. My clinic only does beta if you get a +HPT on 14dpiui.

Hello! My FET should be on May 11th (just waiting for official confirmation) and then I will have my blood test with the RE on May 26th. I have a couple blood draws with them before the 26th, not sure what that's all about. Not sure if I'll be POAS, I'm leaning away from it right now.

I'll join! My DE FET should be on May 10th. I am not sure when I'll POAS... I really hate the feeling of seeing the stark white negative test. The only time I saw a BFP was October of last year at 8dp5dt - so maybe I'll test then again. I'll only do beta if I get a +HPT.

Hi! Well, I can take an HPT on the 15th so I'm right at the beginning of this group. We are doing TI & the rest of the protocol is in my signature. Determined to wait until then to POAS!

Hey guys! My transfer is tomorrow and my beta will be on 5/15 or 5/16. Not sure if I'm going to poas. It terrifies me to see a negative test after 3 failed IUIs. We'll see what happens.

Evening, ladies! I'm in my second medicated cycle with TI. I've had five losses, no living children. The RE we are seeing is a specialist in RPL and I have high hopes.

This month we did 1/2 a pill of clomid for two days and then a dose of Menopur. I took my trigger shot last night and we have a 'prescription' for relations today (check) and through the weekend.

I look forward to having you all to commiserate with over the next two weeks. Beta will be 5/18.

I'm in! FET is scheduled for the 19th, BETA was not scheduled but i assume it will be like the 31st. i havent figured out if i will POAS or not,

Hey all! My FET is scheduled for the 10th so I'm guessing my beta will be sometime after the 20th. I'm going to try hard not to POAS.

IUI#1 is schedule for tomorrow, 10a.m., and ill head back to the RE on the 13th and 20th for bloodwork!

Not sure if theyll have me POAS or not, I guess ill know more tomorrow!!

@ADRIANAC1982 Your blood work on the 20th is probably going to be a beta, since that will be 13dpiui for you! Not sure about the 13th... maybe progesterone check? Good luck tomorrow

My RE doesn't do betas for iui until after day 34....my day 34 is 5/20...AF is expected around 5/15...I'll probably test at home sometime next weekend but not sure what day.

Officially scheduled my IUI for Monday morning and will be triggering tonight at 8pm! I have a lot of follies but all that does is increase our chances from a shot in hell to not so terrible

@wifeinraleigh28yep! We extended it a bit so we can avoid having the ER when we have out of town guests. I have my suppression check next Thurs and stop BC pills next Friday, also I get my meds that day too. Stims should be starting May 23rd!

How is everyone else doing? Halfway through and doing ok so far. Resisting the urge to order HPTs. I've been limiting my caffeine (eliminating it except for my AM coffee) and alcohol (wine really) except I did have some last night at Mothers Day dinner. I'm definitely feeling ready for a result and if it's not positive, looking forward to a summer "off" as we evaluate what we want to do next.

Thanks for the support @Tulips29. It may seem strange, but I find comfort in knowing this is my last IUI 2ww. After this it is definitely on to IVF and I'm looking forward to being PUPO with the rest of you!

@wifeinraleigh28 I felt the same exact way after my 3rd IUI. My first doctor said to maybe try 2-3 more, but I went for a second opinion to my current clinic where my current RE said IVF was my only option. I was actually excited to start the process. However, I have seen IUI's work for many girls on here, so I still say don't give up hope yet. 3rd time may be the charm for you.

Good morning! Congrats to @susykat77 and @wifeinraleigh28 on your procedures yesterday. I am hopeful that this will be a great cycle for us all! I am a dirty lurker for BFPs and there have been several in the May 1-14 group. Maybe that bodes well for us.

@susykat77 I have been following your blog and wondered if they retrieved any more DEs for you before your procedure? It only takes one, but I know you were hoping for more than one chance.

AFM, I listened to a few "Beat Infertility" podcasts last night after finding a link on another thread. It was interesting to hear others' perspectives on some of the things that have made me feel so isolated through this process. Even when it feels like it, we are not alone.

I also meditated this morning on patience. I am not great at meditating, and I do it infrequently, but I have noticed when I do that I tend to feel more calm throughout the day. I have a couple of free apps that are good for this, so I will try to keep it up and see if it helps keep the BSC at bay.

@fivetimesnoluck I'm going to have to check out that podcast after seeing it mentioned here a few times. I've been feeling "lonely" in this struggle lately, so I'm sure it'd be helpful. 9dpo today!! Getting more and more anxious to test! Somebody stop me!
