I was starting to feel great last week, less morning nausea and a little more energy. I had switched over to gummy prenatals to see if nausea was actually from the iron in my original prenatals and it appears it was.
Then I had my appt on friday, and my OB wants me to go back to the iron ones, especially with the extra blood volume and since I'm already low iron/borderline anemic. So, now I'm back to morning nausea. The extra B6 hasn't helped yet, and saltines don't do much.
I had to stop the iron prenatals and go to gummies before I even got pregnant. Can you ask your doctor if you can take the gummies then a separate, slow release iron pill? My sister said the slow release pills don't bother her like regular iron pills do.
13w1d and I feel awesome. Finally. 6 weeks of pure hell with all day MS, exhaustion and no appetite - it's all better.
The only thing I can't function with for some reason is brushing my teeth for too long and the smell of mozzarella sticks. Instant gag and anger. I love them, but they are revolting right now.
I'm 13w1d and I haven't had any MS or nausea the entire time. My mom said she never had any with my siblings or me either so it must be in the genes! Only symptom I have now is that I'm HUNGRY. Sorry to rub it in
