OP, if your questions involves a specialist with ED then below is my experience with my previous pregnancy. If not then ignore my answer, it's probably not what your looking for.
With my previous pregnancy I started at a normal weight BMI, but was still dealing with ED. My OB didn't become concerned with my weight and measurements until the end of my 2 trimester. Once she became concerned she made it clear to me, and let me know what the plan for me was.She had a goal for my belly grow by a certain amount by each appointment, and not so much about my weight. I ended up having multiple ultrasounds, stress test, and delivered 4 weeks early due to this.
So far with this pregnancy, ED has not been as bad, and I have gained 2 pounds at 17 weeks (or maybe its because I haven't poop in a couple days).
Jeez lady, the only person being over dramatic is you at the moment. I actually responded to your questions (AND stuck my neck out a bit on your behalf) and this is what you come back with for the group? People are people, and will respond to a question as they see fit, not as how you want them to. You got a wide range of answers and perspectives, what more do you want?

Oh wow, the sensitivity is tense in here. Well, I'll come out and say it. I'll be 17wks tomorrow, and I'm up about 12-15lbs. This is my first and I have no idea how much I'll gain, obviously hoping it won't be more than the recommended, but who knows. I'm taking it day by day as it comes and just not trying to freak the F--- out. I'm really glad to hear there are others that are early gainers because I thought it was just me. I'm 5'8" and was somewhere between 135-140lbs when we started this journey. Although I'm usually very active, this pregnancy has taken a lot of that out of me and just like the rest of you, the 1st tri was terrible with m/s and carbs were all I could eat. Hope there rest of you find some comfort that you're not alone.
I didn't really read through the drama posts.. But I'll also "take one for the team" and share that I'm also one of gainers of the group. I weighed 125 lbs at my first appointment and at my 15 week appointment I weighed 142. Yup, 17 lbs. I gained a lot with my first but lost it pretty quickly/easily. I'm hoping that is the case with this pregnancy! Now that I'm not so sick I'm eating better though, so I'm not too worried about it.
I appreciate the giggles this thread has given me. Maybe people should learn to create polls if they are asking an either/or or multiple choice question and not looking for other feedback. Ovia is a great app to get quick feedback for these type of questions. So is a magic eight ball.

not for nothing but when you go to the doctor they weigh you each time. it didn't occur to you to ask the doctor this question?
