I spent my planning period today watching Grey's Anatomy. And then some kids came in to finish taking a test, so now I have to wait until lunchtime to find out who won the custody battle!
I am becoming mildly obsessed with Neko Atsume, which I'm pretty sure is a child's game. I got just so excited because I had a new visit from a rare cat. I embarrass myself sometimes.
Also I made fresh margaritas last night and they were so delicious but now I am suuuper hungover at work and basically wearing pajamas and a blanket (leggings, tunic, blanket scarf). I don't even care.
My FFFC is that I don't understand that point of the WAYDTGKU section in the WTO thread. The majority of the people say the same things or the norm or all the things. It's a little tedious to type it all out.
My FFC, the only thing that I hate about spring/summer is that I have to start regularly shaving my legs again. When you wear pants all winter, what's the point, right?
I just ate a piece of pizza and a doughnut for breakfast. And I'll probably have leftover birthday cake for lunch. And we're going out to dinner tonight.
Probably shouldn't weigh myself again until Monday...
i went BSC last night on google and youtube reading stories and watching videos of people getting early BFP's with being just 6, 7, and 8 DPO because I was SS like crazy. I spent like 2 hours doing that when I was supposed to be in bed sleeping. Then this morning I took a cheapie and I'm only 6DPO and of course it was negative.
I just found out my 42 year old cousin is pregnant with a surprise 4th. And my first words were, 'that's just fucking great. Good for her.'
Oops.....I seriously love her to death, so I shouldn't be a crabby jerk about it. But I texted my bff, 'I'm so glad my 42 year old cousin is a fertile empire and I'm a dried up old hag at 27....
I already confessed this in WTO. But I'm leaving work early today so that I can get home in enough time to get it on with my husband before he leaves for work.
Ya gotta do what ya gotta do.

@mrsdaddario don't feel bad, I've said the same things myself!! All my sisters seem to be able to blink and get KU and me, not so much. Happy for them but, also pretty green with envy too.
DH was on a business trip yesterday so I made box mac and cheese for dinner with a glass of wine and followed that up with ice cream. No veggies or protein in the mix at all. This was also eaten while watching Below Deck Mediterranean on demand. Loved my "single girl" evening.
I may have had a mental break down and went to go weigh myself last night. I was convinced Whole30 wasn't working. I needed verification that it's worth it, or I would jump ship. Down almost 6 pounds in one week. I think my body was like, "FINALLY!"
I miss intro threads for new members. I see new names and have no idea who they are, and I wish I knew a little more about them. It's my own fault, I never read the intro thread because I forget it's there.

I'm off today and DH is at work. So I went shopping and bought myself some new clothes, bought myself some vietnamese fresh rolls for lunch, and I'm probably going to have a nap. Then I'll wake up later and do about 30 minutes of housecleaning and I'll most likely let DH think I did housework all day. Oh, and I won't mention the clothes either. When he notices me wearing them and asks I'll imply that I've had them for a while. edited because apparently I like the word probably, a lot!

@DoctorDonna yay for you!! I LOVE Whole 30. Its so remarkable the intense emotional relationship I have with food. I've done it twice (tried three times... whoops) but both times, I started having dreams about halfway through that I was cheating and I would wake up SOOO disappointed in myself! Keep it up! I wish I had time to do enough cooking to do Whole 30 right now!

I used to be really diligent about putting "return to sender" and putting it back in the mailbox. But it's been nearly a year, and I'm over it. I just throw their stuff in the trash now. Well, about 6 weeks ago, I got a large flat envelope that says "Do Not Bend" ALL over it. It was from a university and I had presumed it was a diploma. I truly meant to return it, but it doesn't fit in my mailbox without bending it, and I honestly just forgot about it in my mail pile. So, last night I had friends in town and we opened it. It IS a diploma. I feel badly. But also, if you're going to order something and probably pay for it, wouldn't you check the mailing address???? Not sure what to do with it now!
I have old nail varnish on my toenails that I have been meaning to take off for weeks. Every time I go to my acupuncture appointment I remember and regret not doing it, then forget again. What must she think of me
@housewifehobbyist Yes! I've fallen off on Neko Atsume because I wasn't getting any rare cat visits. A friend at work told me about a game called Hamster Life. That one is fun also. It combines Candy Crush type games with cute hamsters.
I bought a pregnancy book that I had planned on buying when actually KTFU because it was half price at a used bookstore. Then instead of putting it away I started reading it. It's actually super fascinating but every time I get to a sentence that's like "You're probably feeling so many emotions now that you're pregnant" I'm like

I had a similar experience the other day in some bright orange pants I wore to work. (Not the wanting to take it off part, though. Lol. Just thought I should clarify!) It took several hours in the office for someone to notice and comment on them. At one point I was just like, "Welp, this is all for nothing." Lol.

Glad to know it's not just me. I have really quiet lonesome days at work, as well as busy, social days at work. Every morning when I'm trying to decide what to wear, 'how many people will see me today?' is usually a deciding factor. And if I have something especially cute, or new, I want to wear it on a day lots of people will 'see me'.

So this isn't really a confession but when @PepperAT talked about dogs it made me think of a story from yesterday. H works night shift so he was just waking up when I got home from work. We have 2 dogs, one Chihuahua mix and another that's 6 months old and about the size of a lab (we don't know exactly what she is). Since we moved into our house we put her in a kennel in the back yard so she has room to run around a bit. Well she hasn't quite adjusted to her new home and barks every time she wants out to do her business. Yesterday when I got home she was barking like crazy, so I got DH to come out and help me get her fresh water and food because she runs out of the kennel every time we open the door. She runs around a bit and hubby gets her bowl to go get fresh water and she comes running full force straight at him, head first into his crotch. I felt so bad for him but I did laugh a little bit. Those dogs are my crazy babies!

That is so funny!! Last Sunday morning our 150lb rottweiler was laying in front of the bed. It was still kind of dark outside and DH got up to go to the bathroom. When he came back he tried stepping over her to get back into bed, but she stood up at the same time. She's solid so she kept on going but he ended up falling (rather dramatically) onto the floor. Mind you I was laying in bed and seeing this whole thing happen in silhouette form. I didn't want to laugh right then and there because I didn't want to make him embarrassed, but later in the shower I got a good laugh out of it!
I have an intern at work right now who I am precepting so I basically had her do all my work today and I bumped all afternoon, and I let her go home early! Bad teacher I am but oh well, TGIF!!
@thj101 It took me a REALLY long time to like avocado. It was the texture (I'm totally a "texture baby"). But, I got over that and am absolutely obsessed with it now. I'll pretty much eat it on everything or just with a spoon and a little salt.
My FFFC is that I can hate when people insist on backing into a parking space!! It drives me absolutely crazy!!! Especially when I have to sit there and wait for someone to back their giant car into a really tight space.

Last week for the first time ever I completely misjudged a parking space and scratched up the driver side bumper of our truck (side note: I hate the damn thing and want it gone), this week hubs saw it when he came out to tell me something when I was leaving for work and I completely denied knowing it was there. I also never left a note on the car I bumped because the entire passenger side of their car was super dented up and scratched BEFORE I love tapped them.
