After my office handed out Bud Light Lime-a-Rita's yesterday afternoon but skipped me, I went home and had my husband serve me one on the rocks that I nursed all evening.
I essentially ate a whole pizza for dinner last night. Then I went out and got chips and guac and queso with some friends. Still don't have any maternity pants and so I was definitely sitting there with my pants fully unbuttoned and fly down. Gotta make room for the food...I mean the baby. Long shirts for the win?
I'm kinda loving that I'm still losing weight. I know I should be more concerned because at some point in the next couple weeks I need to start gaining it back and eating hasn't gotten any easier, but still. My body looks like it did when I was pregnant the first time! Hooray! At least there's an upside to having all day morning sickness for 2 straight months.
I've decided that dill flavored potato chips are a fine food group. Even though they eventually burn the crap out of my mouth. Also we've decided not to tell DH's family until a surprise sex/pregnancy reveal at a Memorial Day picnic. I feel bad shocking them that way but I also think it will be kind of funny.

Was craving dill chips the other day. Mmmm thanks for reminding me, need to buy!
sometimes I don't post on the longer threads because, due to pregnancy brain, I can't remember if I've already posted on it or not and don't feel like looking through 3+ pages to find out.
I once paid actual money to see John Mayer in concert.
I once paid money to see Dave Matthews Band. My friend and I made it through about 3 songs and then went out to the parking lot and hung out by the hot dog stand.
H and I spent way too much money this week on Blink-182 tickets but they're second row seats sooooooo....worth it.

Here's another music one: I love Hanson. Yes, Mmmbop Hanson from the 90's. They're still around and really talented. I've seen them 6 times and have met them 4 times. H and I went to Nashville, TN to see them once (about a 5 hour drive from us) and H admitted to me that musically, they were very talented and he had a lot of respect for them (H is a musician).

I paid money to see Sugar Ray (Mark McGrath) and another time; Puddle of Mudd-- those are the two worst, I think.
ETA: I won't apologize for Third Eye Blind. When Semi-Charmed Life comes on, I still love it! And... Of course I had to look-- they're playing Outside Lands this year. YES!

@lilwonder - we're going to outside lands this year too! We're going whichever day radio head and Sufjan Stevens are there. I think it's Friday.
My my secret concert shame is that I went to see Miley Cyrus. In fairness, my husband got free box seats through work. I don't say no to free box seats for anything. We had a ton of fun.
I never got to see NKOTB in concert before they broke up so my Mom and I caught their reunion tour in Vegas. I cried when they first came out. I don't even really like their new stuff, it's just all the childhood memories. (Sorry if the pic is huge)

Awesome! We have some friends pouring their label this year and they're sponsors of some sort, so they're giving me a 3-day pass (I think they get 6 VIP's or something ridiculous). I'm stoked! I've spent wayyy too much money on passes/tix in the past for OL and HSBG's VIP tent.

I took my best friend to a Britney Spears concert, the Circus tour. The one after she got over the crazy. Y'all, my mind was blown. I'm not even ashamed.
My biggest regret about music stuff is actually a concert I missed. I heard backstreet boys music coming from down by the hatshell one day when I was sitting reading in Boston Public Garden like 3 years ago, and I assumed it was someone blasting their music too loud. I found out later that it was a FREE ACTUAL backstreet boys reunion concert. That I didn't walk over and see.
My guilty pleasure music is old music. James Taylor, Bob Dylan, Cat Stevens, Joni Mitchell, Janice Joplin, Grateful Dead, Bob Marley, Peter, Paul and Mary, Pete Seeger.

That's awesome! We'll be in VIP too. My h actually prefers the general audience area, but I refuse to go every year unless I have access to a toilet that flushes. And given that I'll be... 6months pregnant this year? Ain't no way I'm peeing in a port o potty every 20 minutes.
Sir Mix A Lot. If you happen to remember Baby Got Back. Not exactly my favorite eh... artist. Or genre. But I was definitely entertained. It was a small town. It didn't matter who it was, just to get out of the boring, tedious normal...

I start crying every time I even think about seeing the Spice Girls perform in their proposed reunion tour. I was obsessed with them as a child growing up in Europe and I still get teary eyed every time I hear one of their songs.
ooh, I love these bad concert stories! My first concert was Richard Marx. yup, most you younger folks probably have no idea who that is. I think I was 12ish- my older sister and her friends were going and ended up with an extra seat. I just wanted to be a big kid and go. Had no idea who he was.
Vanilla Ice. We went as a joke about 12 years ago, he was playing in a college town at a local bar. It actually ended up being a lot of fun, he performed really well.
He tried to pull me up on the stage but I was in 4 inch heels, couldn't get up fast enough. A-hole ended up dumping a bottle of water all over me, Flashdance style. I should have been annoyed but it felt good, it was freaking packed in there.

The squirrels in Public Garden are so friendly lol I love them
I love Hanson and get excited when Mmm Bop comes on I went to see the Backstreet Boys/New Kids on the Block Concert and pretty much screamed the whole time and LOVED every minute, and last year went to see a NKOTB/TLC/Nelly concert and it was amazing as well. And Nelly is coming to my area this summer and singing with our orchestra and SOOO want to go!
