Sono yesterday, he's head down!! I was honestly shocked! Now to keep that head down, I'm 36+5 so I know anything can happen still but I practically skipped out of the appointment! Even got DH on board for VBAC, so that's great news. He has been really hesitant, and OB told us some horror stories yesterday, but OB also said that the chance of an uterine rupture are around 1/100 so that made DH feel a little better (I thought that was high!) ... either way, we moved my RCS back to 41 weeks and I'm going to be eating all the spicy food and having all the sex!
Hi breech mommies! Just checking in. My LO is still frank breech and estimated weight 6.5 lbs at 38 wks. I've decided that it's better for me to accept that this is the way LO wants to be and probably how she will come out of me. My OB is old school and very experienced with breech births so we're moving forward with a vaginal delivery. LO is still small and my pelvic size is good so I'm feeling confident in this decision and with my doctor. I feel very lucky to have a doctor who is supportive of my decision and not pressuring me to deliver her early because of size concern. I guess we'll see how things go. I'm shooting for all natural as well but open to an epidural because the pushing stage will be different since she's coming butt first.
I have an ultrasound scheduled for Monday to determine location. We scheduled an induction on my due date (the following Monday) hoping it is head down, and we are going to scare it out with the eviction notice. I want to go on my own. So this baby literally has 10 days to pack up and move out! If it isn't head down on Monday, I hope my doctor schedules an appt to try and move it. I don't want her to throw in the towel and schedule a c section without trying even though it is a 50/50 shot.
Re: Breech or other malpositioned babes
