I don't like finding hair in my food my problem is that my hair gets in my food when I'm eating it. I was eating cereal this morning and I got my hair in the cereal. Yesterday I got ice cream in my hair. I don't know if being pregnant has made me extra klutzy or maybe I just need to cut my hair.
Is it weird that hair in my food doesn't bother me? I'm a hairstylist and have a ton of hair so I just tell myself it's mine unless it looks like arm or leg or whatever hair- then it's done.
My dizziness, fatigue, shortness of breath, etc etc has gotten way worse in the last week or so. I'm not even sure I should be driving.
So, I contacted my nurse's line via email. I let them know that I had those symptoms but they are getting more severe. They don't answer for a few hours, which is typical, but then I get a response:
"I've been trying to call you for hours. Please call the doctor on call, she might want to evaluate you."
No one has called my phone. I call, no answer. I email back, and say that there's no answer, along with my correct phone number to make sure they have the right one. I also took a look at my last blood draw (done a week and a half ago), and lo and behold, all my blood levels are low. I ask via email if I could possibly be a bit anemic (I hate asking medical professionals questions like this, but it was pretty clear.)
In like, 10 minutes I get a letter in my patient portal saying that based on my last blood test I have iron deficiency anemia, and to start taking iron. At the same time, I get an email response from the SAME nurse that sent the letter, saying that the levels aren't low enough to be anemia because it's typical in pregnant women and I should just drink more water. Huh? Which is it? And how did no one notice this earlier?
Also, the phone number they had for me was way off of any number they should have for me. They've also called me before, this is my second baby with them, and I've been seeing them for 4 years.
This is far from the first time they've messed something up. I want to switch practices so badly. It takes forever to drive to my appointments (have to cross city traffic at rush hour.) I go to this practice so that I can deliver at one of the best damn baby-deliverin' hospitals in the COUNTRY. I guess this is what I have to put up with? The other practices that deliver at the hospital are even further away.

WTF to people who think we're too stupid to realize they've changed their screen name. Or to wonder whose admin butt they must be crawling up to be able to do that so seamlessly.
Please be careful, we don't want anyone else being banned or kicked out because bump admins are more concerned with violating their own TOU's than removing sticky threads from 6 months ago.

I know math is hard, but my uterus hasn't figured out that 30-31 weeks does not equal term. Had DD 10 years ago in may at 30 weeks, and this guy is trying hard to follow suit. Had a lot of contractions last night and felt lighter. Dr checked me, and while my cervix is closed, he said baby has already dropped with his head down low. I know things can change, but he said we are looking at sooner rather than later given all the other things going on. C'mon, uterus, get your shit together!!!!
@KatieBird0106 I hope your pup shows up soon. One of my cats escaped for a weekend a few months ago and I was a mess...hugs to you and your momma! I don't know what kind of business just shows up unannounced and lets themselves into someone's property like it's NBD...like PP's have said, I'd tell you to call and rip them a new one, but it doesn't sound like calling will get you anywhere. I'd definitely review them on google, facebook etc though
@KatieBird0106 I'm so sorry your dog is missing!! You can try putting some food out and a toy/blanket (anything with a familiar scent) and if he's still in the neighborhood it may be enough to lure him back. Put flyers out everywhere. Call the humane society(s) and let them know your dog is lost so if anyone drops him off they will call you. I am crossing my fingers he comes home to you soon.
