My sister's anti-vaxxer boyfriend RSVP'd to my babyshower on the 14th. He's been sitting on the invite for 5 weeks, and it was sent before I knew his stance on vaccines. I'm making it my personal goal to publicly verbally eviscerate him on the subject of vaccines before throwing him a roll of aluminum foil, telling him to make a hat and stay the fuck away from my family, in those exact words. Srsly, you choose to fight my entire family on this for the past 3 weeks, get yourself kicked out of the house you share with my mother and sister (effective July 1), and THEN RSVP to my shower?

Definitely agree with all the wtf regarding the banned users. The punishment doesn't fit the crime.

My wtf is to myself for giving up coffee right before a 12-hour shift. I've been feeling sick in the mornings and am not sure if it's the coffee or not. So today will be a test in many ways...

WTF to what I consider to be poor manners! I could be completely wrong, but if you're invited to a party, aren't you supposed to be quiet and not assume everyone else is invited? Maybe I'm just really out of touch. At any rate, this ogre I work with who I don't like for many reasons wasn't invited to my baby shower, and a couple of other women at my work asked her about chipping in for a gift. I knew it would probably get back to her eventually, but I still feel extremely paranoid and uncomfortable.

Also, WTF to myself. I'm really wondering if I hadn't posted my innocuous comment yesterday about loving July if our friends would still be here today.

Wow I was busy crying myself to sleep last night watching Charlie St. Cloud on Netflix and I missed all the drama. WTF! Craziness. Anyways, my best friend from college is being induced today. While I'm happy for her, I'm disappointed that we don't have a close relationship any more. When I found out she was pregnant, I was like, YAY now we can talk about all the pregnancy/motherhood things!!! But, she really had no interest it, and never inquired about my pregnancy or asked how I was doing even though I was constantly asking about hers. Ugh. I get it, people change over time and friendships that were once super relevant can suddenly become not relevant after a time, especially when distance is involved. All I want is just to have someone to relate to about this madness called motherhood. I need a mommy friend so bad. Or just more friends in general in this big ass lonely city known as Houston.

@benten24 He still lives at the house the party is being hosted at until July 1, so I think he would find a reason he needed to 'drop by' anyway. He and my husband are close, but he doesn't yet realize how unhappy my husband is with his anti-vaxxer bullshit, so I'm wondering if this is his last ditch effort to convince someone to be on his side. It will be fun going at him though, the last time I let my crazy out in public like that I lost my frenemy and her sexist husband (their friends and family know about it all and still drop love on my instagram and fb baby posts. Hysterical).

Yes maam! Happened at around my 16th week appt. Two dumbasses with their wives/girlfriends with no respect for others blasting rap/hiphop from their phones WHILE others were either trying to watch t.v., read, etc.
The absolute icing on the cake was being called before them since I came after them

The same woman just threw a fit because she's been waiting for 30 minutes. we were just told that OB is in a c-section right now so she's running late. I think that trumps your pap, lady!

@AB34 Is the sensitivity to noise normal during pregnancy? I thought it was just me and all in my head, but I know exactly what you mean - when I'm around too loud of noises or too many noises at once, it's complete overload.

WTF to the party rental company that my parents hired for my brother's wedding reception TWELVE DAYS AGO. My dad has called them repeatedly asking when they would be coming to pick up all the tables/dance floor/ tent/ect and they have taken their sweet time. Well, yesterday, my mom left to grab lunch and let our family dog stay in the fenced back yard while she was gone. It's completely safe and he loves it back there. When she drives back up, the party rental company is there picking up their shit with no notice that they were coming, gate hanging wide open, no dog. Then they say "sorry, your dog ran off".... WTLiteralF?! He's been gone since lunchtime yesterday... So angry. My husband and I are about to head over that way to help my mom look for him again. Of course, my dad is out of town and my mom is very upset. It's not like him to run off and stay gone so this whole situation just blows my mind.

I'm a social worker at a school, and the number of students we have determines how many social workers are here (due to our caseload numbers). My direct supervisor and the principal have known for months I'm not returning, but I handed in my resignation letter this week (formally 6 weeks before my last day). The principal comes up to me today, with my letter in his hand, and says "We will have XX number of students next year, do you want to come back?" Ummm, was my letter not clear enough???

TW for anyone who still has a sensitive stomach or who is a sympathetic puker.

WTF WTF. Hair in my food is a MAJOR gag trigger (even before getting pregnant). I somehow got hair into some leftover refried beans and completely lost it. Now I know I won't be able to eat for the rest of the day (it's only 11 here), I almost peed while trying not to puke, and I pissed the kid off. She's going bonkers in there which isn't helping the jumpy tummy.

I'm not sure but it's happened to me both pregnancies. I was so thankful to nurse afterward because it would give me an excuse to go hide in a bedroom at parties and get away from the noise!
