Re: Weekly Randoms go here...

  • Someone explain to me why the second I complete a group of costumes for the stupid spring show, I get an email saying I need to make two more.... Ugh.

Also, the Dallas Stars are going to piss my husband off which in turn will piss me off.

You know my claim to fame? J. Toews is a friend of mine.

We we may have whispered sweet nothings to each other in French while drinking wine a handful of times.

  • I never get why breakfast places don't deliver! Like, who the hell would get out of their PJ's and possibly brush their hair for breakfast if they could get someone to deliver it to them!
I know Starbucks is delivering in some places, but I don't know how it works, and it's not near me.

Honestly, Cruz scares me more than Trump. Pretty much all the republicans scare me, so there's that.
Agreed.  Trump says whatever he needs to say to pander to the voter base he's trying to win.  He's flip-flopped so many times that his more radical opinions can't be trusted.  Cruz has held firm on his crazy forever which is scarier.
I just wanna Feel the Bern, y'all. ;)
He's even scarier to me.  His budget numbers don't make sense.  His proposed health care spending is less than 1/2 of what US health spending was 3 years ago so sure, his numbers balance but theyre not the right numbers in the first place.  And he has no idea how he's going to do any of his grand proposals.  It's just going to happen apparently.  There really are no good choices.  Now if Bloomberg would stop being reasonable and refusing to run (he doesn't want to pull from Democrats and ensure a Trump presidency), then I might be able to get behind someone.  Maybe...

    Okay, I'm done politicking now
Oh I fully admit I know dick all about his numbers. I just know I took a quiz and it said he was the guy I would want as prez. I share his values but values don't translate unless they're backed up by financial feasibility. He's the most Canadian of the Candidates I think. :-) and feel the bern is my favourite slogan.

Man im all up in everybody's box tonight. Just popping in to say Toews? Canadian!! Holla!
  • @CourtJack he is.  His ideas would work in a lot of other countries but in order to do anything he's promising he essentially needs to disband Congress because there's not a chance in hell that it's getting passed by them.  His budget doesn't add up unless he changes some core aspects of our country and its something that will take way more than a presidential term to do even with a congress that sides with him.

Eat some potatoes I hear it can help with an early induction. Then welcome to our June BMB :)
I also hear all those carbs can pack on the pounds and leave people crotchety and overweight.
  • Feel the Bern is catchy. But I am not sure about anyone of the candidates. Guess I will have to wait to see who my choices are and search to see where people really stand on the issues.
  • @HBamama2B you win. I'm dying. I think I love you.

I forgot my husband sent me a picture of a poo nug I left in the toilet earlier and I just opened my phone to text him that I was done with class and screamed.
FTM potty training mistake - I put a small poo of my DSs in the kitchen trash. I came home from work to a kitchen smelling like tooty toot.

To to other moms out there reading this - learn from my mistake.
Gives Eau de Toilette a whole new meaning.  Although Eau is water, not smell, but you get where I was going.  If this heartburn would stop I would be asleep right now.

Off to bed, too much tryptophan in here for me to stay awake. Have a great night y'all.

I think you meant to use a picture of chicken, not turkey. Hiding behind report buttons is a pretty chicken move to make (and equally full of tryptophan). But hey, if your own random thread makes you this sleepy..
  • Poo nug. The best.

  • Just found out H could potentially qualify for 30 days of personal leave since he doesn't qualify for FMLA because his company switched over in February. His boss has to approve it but he's one of his good friends so I don't think it'll be an issue. It's unpaid but I think it would be worth it to have a whole month off together... and in February he's going to take FMLA (because it'll be less than a year from LOs birthday) and we're going to see how we function on one income (mine) and see if he could handle the SAHD role. We'll see!
    That's really awesome and exciting!

Even if the SAHD thing doesn't work out, it'll be nice to have him home that whole first month after baby is here. More time to get in the swing of things..
  • @TattoosandLace But at least Dallas made it to the playoffs this season.... I don't watch hockey so I don't care much. It's against my figure skating religion.

  • No...... Move along from using the report function every time you get offended by something stupid.  Did you not really read a thing I said?

It's like crying wolf.  Because people abuse it for stupid,  silly things like "not liking someone"  when it should be reserved for actual serious issues,  like posting explicit images or bullying. It's not there just for you to hit every time someone disagree with you or even calls you out for something.

Stop using it for petty shit.

I won't hide. If you keep this persistent baiting up, I will report the abuse. Do not call us fat and crotchety again.
    You are boring us.

I said eating so many carbs can make one fat and crotchety. Factual information. You're welcome.
  • Anywaaaay, back to your regularly scheduled randoms.

Anyone have any mindless phone game suggestions to play during the labor? I have an android phone and an iPad so all suggestions will be useful. I don't have any games currently but I imagine they might be a good distraction.
