May 20th! Woo, the end is so close! I love that babies have all their systems basically functioning by 35 weeks, it'll make my life so much easier
Eta - My ILs will be so pleased! They've had a vacation scheduled for around my due date since before I got pregnant that they were considering cancelling so they could make the 6 hour trip to our house at a moments notice. If I can just induce at 35 weeks, they won't have to worry about that at all! The convienance just keeps coming!
I just called and scheduled us all for inductions this week! I was able to get you in with my OB's team, because they care about us and our babies and they can do c-sections really quick!
I am ordering each of us matching teeny tiny onesies for our babies to wear in the NICU!
Anyway- I think we can move over to a Premie Board!!!!!!
SO EXCLUSIVE!
PS: Claire's Boutique will be stopping by the NICU on Thursday to pierce your baby's ears for free- but you have to get induced by Wednesday evening to get in on it!
But, but, I have baseball tickets next Saturday, I can't possibly be due two days before that. Meh, I guess if the little guy comes Thursday or Friday, I'll just haul him outside for an unknown number of hours in the heat, bugs, noise, etc. Science probably says that's alright too.
Me: 32 DH: 31 *The old lady by 5 whole weeks* Married: 11/2013 M: 6/2016 E: 5/2018
I'm going to see if I can get away with scheduling my induction on June 1st, just because ya know 6/1/16 is cool. And also because baby is done cooking at 35 weeks anyway!!!!
35 weeks!!! Woowhoo! I'll get to go to my best friends wedding for sure now and if babies in the nicu still, i won't even have to find a babysitter! It's 3 days after my due date. But I was planning on inducing sooner, so I could go, or getting shots to keep him in longer, so I can go and steal engorge myself with all her delicious wedding food, while being prego. Thank goodness for doctors who induce out for convenience for mothers!
I'm due June 11th, but going to call my OB and ask her if we can schedule an induction for June 7th - because that's my birthday and it would be totes awesome if me and baby shared the same birthday. Oh, and H is scheduled to leave for his annual fishing trip on June 11th. I'd hate to interfere with his plans by, you know, having our first child.
@Palisson mine's got the hiccups as we speak. Do you think she's using some sort of Morse code to tell me she's ready and breathing well enough now that she's over 32 weeks?
@mrsschmity Start a poll: "Have bebe on my birthday or not?" Hey guys- I am in a pickle! I have the opportunity to get induced on my birthday and I want to have my baby on my birthday so that we can share that special day, birthday week and birthday month but I'm afraid that by 2017 I'll come to resent sharing my birthday with the baby. It's MY DAY! What should I do?
My birthday actually legit falls right at 35 weeks. We'll be twinsies! So exciting. Maybe I can make it out of the hospital in time to enjoy a birthday cocktail!

Why wait? Drink now. It's about what's convenient for you!
I'm 33w5d. Do I have to wait until 35? That's over a week away. The forecast is promising temps in the high 80's to low 90's this weekend. Baby and I will both obviously die if I can't have a cocktail in this heat. Induction is best, right?

Just make all your friends and family who are grateful for the convenience of your scheduled birth bring you cocktails. The hospital is totally fine with it and your newborn will definitely be cool with it.

I'm so glad this is the case!!! I was terrified of my child being a pearl, but he will be an emerald now. Phew. I mean, pearls just don't look good with my complexion. If ya'll have not read up on the birthstone science, I highly suggest posting a thread asking other members on this. Googling it is just too darn hard!
Re: WELCOME TO JUNE! Where 35 weeks is full term!
We should have merged with May a long time ago.
Cant wait to have my little guy home and in his cute outfit next weekend so I can share pics on all my social media! oh... Oh, wait.

I AM actually a doctor- but not the kind that specializes in Morse code.
I'd say call your local radio station and ask the DJ or start a new thread.
As a Juris Doctor, I advise that you keep the baby in for now.
